What does it take to scavenge a corpse?

Why can't I scavenge player corpses in a scenario when I have no dots on me and no enemies within at least 100 feet? What keeps interrupting my scavenging attempts?

Id gues its renown tick or such..have experienced similar weird stopping without dots or taking damage..only thing ive seen is some renown/xp ticks

or perhaps it was wind

I have this bug too.

Probably the renown tick.

Try it in your own solo group or solo in the scenario. It could be a bug with groups/warbands. Wouldn't be the first one.

i have fighted with same issue long time and it seems,i cant scaveng or pick up battle standard sometimes in scenarios/orvr
the bar goes in half way and then stops

You can't scavenge/capture while guarding/being guarded.
You can't scavenge/capture while in Master Rune area.

Some other buffs also affect it.
