well while reading around abit..i see 2 different styles of weapons..now who knows how you pair them up..but heres my take on how they work

we know disciples have a bar such as (righteous fury)
so people have been saying they will use 2 blades cause they dont understand what the chalice is gunna do and so on..what i think its gunna do is help that bar grow faster...because it has a cup in the top so you can build the bar quicker than the blade which doesnt capture the blood like the chalice

so chalice = faster heals not more powerful nothingl ike that..jsut heals faster..does alittle less damage..

sword/daggers = fasters fighting does more damage builds the bar alittle slower so less spells and heals..but you do more damage

thats just my idea...kidna makes sense if you think about it

The problem with that is that Righteous Fury isn't a bar, and since the DoK will most likely use the same system, it will be like RF.

RF is like combo points. You can only get 5, and use them anyway you wish, for big heals, big attacks that use up RF. you have RF builders that add RF back to the bar. Think of it as a modified WoW Rogue combo bar. But instead of the finisher moves using ALL combo points, it uses only the amount it needs. So if you have 5, and you use a skill using RF, it wont use up all 5 unless the skill says it will. It will lets say use 2, and you will have 3 left ot do more.

i thought my idea would be cool though for those who dont wanna use the chalice..:P but im sure the combo points would work in a similar way..but it seems the chalice does make skills stronger?

i mean the high end one has 5 spikes that are as big as daggers ... 5!

I do agree that it makes sense .. when using chalice u build up more of ur RF bar so u can heal more ...

and if u want to go more damage centered just go for 2 weapons ... perfect sense :)

yeah, I really get scared when a guy comes running at me with a big cup with pointy spikes...people with daggers are hardly scary at all.... /sigh

Seriously, half the cups you could catch with your bare hand if you grabbed the correct spot. They are rounded and flat and very very impractical....And at least don't refer to the DoKs mechanic as RF....they just makes it seem even more so a rip-off of the WP mechanic.

I was calling it RF because iwas talking about the WP. If i was talking about the DoK i would use SR for Soul Reaping.

DoK can also use swords too. Which are even better. The chalice will probably act like an axe and a mini axe for healing. The chalice art had both a mini and a normal version, one for each hand.
