I posted this on the OF but forgot to put it here as well. Oops.

I hosted it on my blog as it's very, very long. It kind of has to be to include all this information. It is currently only missing one armor set for Choppa but has the rest for all classes, in all Tiers.

It's organized by Tier with a listing for each set and each class. There is a short blurb on Wards as well as basic information on where each set is found, including the quest sets in Tiers 2 and 3.

Enjoy.

Great guide thanks. I think Warhammer should publish this information on their own but you jumped in and did a great job. I now understand a lot more about armor sets than I did before :)

Nice write up but i have a question ,

Does having, say , a greater ward mitigate more damage then a lesser ward does in sigmars crypts and other dungeons that only require lessers?

My guess is they dont but it seems like a common belief so i could be wrong.

No. What you see as a difference is the stats on the armor, not a higher ward.

Between better stats and your group having more experience, it makes it appear as if the higher ward makes a difference when it's the same as it always was.

you say you can acquire the pq sets by doing easy quests, I'm guessing it'd take a lot longer to get a gold bag there, since the odds of it happening are really bad, but is that regardless of chapter and just tier dependent?

Post 1.2 it takes quite a while to get a gold bag off an Easy PQ unless you're really lucky. However, if you're solo and can't take the end boss of a Normal PQ, it's still your best bet. Just be prepared to be there a while.

Chapters don't matter, only the Tier does. There's only one PQ set per Tier, so you can do any chapter you want. This is why if you find yourself in the middle/end of the Tier but want the set, your best bet is to go back to the first chapter of the tier and do the Normal PQ there as it is the best mix of time/reward. Also, it can be the first chapter of the Tier in any pairing.

Well, the guide is nearing a milestone so I'm going to try and work on it a bit. First though, I'm going to Test Server to see what changed on what I can readily see though.

Updated the guide to make it easier to use as well as added a Class Specific section so you can look at just the armor sets for your class.

Enjoy.

Updated the guide to include a section on the RvR Quartermasters and Medallion/Crest costs for the RvR Armor Sets.

Great guide.

The only thing that could make it better is pictures of the various sets, but that's quite a task...

Oh, there's quite a few things I'd like to do to make it even better. However, I'm limited by:

A: Wordpress.com's rules on what in the code can be adjusted
B: Time

Honestly, 'A' kills me more than anything else. As for actual pictures of each set on each class, meh. That is not gonna happen for me unless I get a friendly Dev to assist me on Test Server. Which isn't a bad idea. I may see if I can prod one into letting me do that if it's possible.

OK, I updated some of the general Tier information to reflect 1.2.1 and the recent hotfix. Hopefully some time this week I'll be able to review each and every armor set again for each and every class and update any changes to bonuses.
