RvR is one of the cornerstones of WAR. While there are a lot of fun things to do in the game, I think most of us are here and keep coming back looking for the best RvR experience.

Many of us have used BlackBook or Dammaz Kron (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245364) (which we gave a Spotlight a couple of months ago). These UI Mods help us track our successes and failures in RvR and help stoke the fires of competition. Mythic has even told us to expect more functionality in the Tome of Knowledge similar to Dammaz Kron and the PvP Blackbooks. Today's Spotlight focuses on a similar Mod to these "Kill Trackers", but with some fun and interesting differences. So, we now bring you Nemesis.

Nemesis (http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/nemesis.aspx)

At its core, Nemesis is a Kill Tracker. It tells you who you've killed recently and who has killed you recently. But how is this different than an exceptional Mod like Dammaz Kron, you ask?

Well, Nemesis is more focused on immediate gratification. Nemesis breaks significant targets down into two basic categories: Nemeses and Dominations. These represent the current players that are killing you regularly or being killed by you regularly. There is also a third category, Arch Enemy, that you can manually choose to track. These are players you want to keep lifetime track of as you engage in an epic struggle for domination.

Nemesis goes beyond tracking though. Not only does it keep a record of your kills, but it allows you to configure icons that will mark your opponents when you target them. You can set a Skull, Flame, Vortex or other icons for your Nemesis, so that as soon as you target that player you see the icon pop up above their head, reminding you that you need to even the score, or that this is a foe you have dominated.

There are also customizable UI Alerts when targeting your Nemeses, Dominations and Arch Enemies. Nemesis also allows you to customize sound effects that will alert you when you have a new Nemesis or are Dominating someone. Further, you can hear a special sound effect when you score a Revenge Kill against a Nemesis.

All in all, Nemesis seems more visceral and immediate than Dammaz Kron. I notice Nemesis in my UI more which pulls my attention to the RvR. I'll still be keeping my Dammaz Kron for the long term records against players, but it seldom urges me in an immediate sense. Nemesis gets in my face and reminds me that I need to get after a hated foe and show them who is in charge.
