simular to RL Shaman, will the War Shaman use the power of the elements, and be able to summon elementals and such things?

Real life shamans can summon elemental things? Don't they just grind herbs onto your chest and put oils on your forehead? :P

They'll most likely be using a variation to these spells: http://www.war-resource.com/careers/shaman.php#abilities

No, greenskin shamans use power generated by other greenskins to make big greenskinned fists appear and beat the living **** out of any nearby enemy.
Summoning elements is a tad too subtle, even for goblins.

If you're a real shaman who can summon elementals, please let me know where you live so I can come learn how too.

Ha, the only RL shamans I have seen have a bone in their lip and only power is to shake a stick.
As far as the Greenskin - Goblin Shaman - I have not seen anything like elemental attacks, besides the bright wizard that uses fire. I don't think there are any other elemental attacks in game. Not sure what magic the Sorcerer uses, mainly because I hate elves. But I don't think there is an elemental caster in game

Greenskin shamans use absolutely no elemental magic. Their magic is completely based around WAAAAGH!, which is the magical energy naturally created by orcs in Warhammer.

A Shaman is not necessesarily an Elemental Mage. Shamanistic rituals are based on spirits, let´s say the ghost/soul that lies behind the material world(tree spirits, herb spirits, Animal spirits) Shamans think that these spirits can influence the material world
Goblin Shamans source of power is the only spirit they know: WAAAGGHHHH!

Ah, that gave me a chuckle.
As others have said, the answer is no.

What elemental spirit WOULD a goblin shaman summon? In other words, what would Waaagh incarnate look like? Another goblin? Maybe this is how goblins really reproduce....

If you're wondering how to hurl bolts of lightning and looking for a conduit of the ancient forces of nature, then you are in need of William Shatner.

actualy it's hinted that one is a Gobo, but an Orc will never admit to such a thing

IRL Shamans in general, communicate with spirits and generally use their "powers" for healing purposes.
There are "evil" shamans, which are usually referred to as sorcerors, although there is much documentation on what they do, except use their powers for "selfish" reasons, instead of to help others.

Shaman with full Waagh should be able to choose between reviving a dead orc or draining the waaagh from the dead orc to summon william shatner...WoW shamans are OP, so would dominate in RvR here.

"RL Shamans" do not summon elements. They summon the souls of their ancestors within the elements.
No, goblin shamans are not like that. They summon upon the mystical energy of Waaagh! and use it.

Ok here is how a Warhammer shaman works:
The first thing you need to know about is WAAAGH! WAAAGH! is what fuels a shaman's magic. It is created by the sheer bloodlust and numbers of orks. More orcs + more fights = more WAAAGH!.
Shaman channel WAAAGH! and also use it to call upon Gork and Mork for favours such as stopping an enemy in his tracks or simply stepping on top of said enemy from the heavens. In th table top game there is in all actuallity a foot shaped template for determining hits from the foot spell.
Shaman can also use mushrooms to channel more WAAAGH! the problem is if they channel too much thier head explodes.
In WAR this has translated into as a shaman the more you fight the more WAAAGH! you can channel and hence better spells become available. A shaman who is left alone should theoretically become an absolute monster in a long fight.

Like many have said before me it's more a manipulation of the excitement and lust for battle of the Orcs and Goblins around him.
He's only called a Shaman because Orcs and Goblins are a Tribal race and therefore Shaman is going to be a better name than Goblin Motivational Speaker.
If the lore part of that didn't make any sense this is how Orcs and Goblins 'magic' works: Orcs and Goblins are arguably the most powerful magical race ever to come into being, however for their magic to work they have to congregate and all get really into what they're doing. Mind over matter basically. If a Waagh believes that painting a car red will make it go faster, it actually goes faster. They can bend the laws of the universe by simply getting enough Orcs and Goblins to believe a certain thing.

RL Shaman - someone who communes with the spirit realm and is able to predict good and bad (usually bad) omens, as well as cure ailments; a soothsayer/witch doctor.
WarCraft Shaman - the Horde's version of your "Mage" class. The Horde doesn't have sorcery and such and instead rely on a different type of primal magic, hence why it is called Shamanism. The spirits and the elements literally speak to the Shaman and instead of "commanding" these powers he "calls" on them to aid him in battle or in the other various feats he attempts (far seeing, aka predicting the future, for instance). The reason he's an elemental nuker is because he relies on the elements for power as well being the Horde version of a spellcaster since the Horde is not supposed to have "Mages". Eventually, there is the corruption and power hunger that made many Shamans fall into Warlock magic, which is sorcery, but otherwise Shamanism is the only condoned type of magic the Horde possessed. WoW Shamans are more like druids than sorcerors or priests.
Warhammer Shaman - again, primal spellcasting in nature. Its power feeds off of Waaggghh, but it also builds Waaaghhhh. They don't rely on spirits or the elements or anything like that. They rely on the primal warrior instincts within each and every Orc. I think it's safe to say the WarCraft Shaman's Bloodlust was derived from Waaagghh. Sure, the Horde's Bloodlust was due to demonic corruption, but for some reason despite the purification of the Orcs, Shamans are still able to channel Bloodlust in WC3 and WoW. Seems like a Waaagghhh with a more generic name, now.
