I'm not bothered about dungeon or encounter instancing, it's world instancing I don't like. Where everything other than the towns are empty of other players. Guild wars was like this and there is very little over-arching community created while adventuring.

I wonder if random instances will ever be created? Probably no, or not for a while.

I just think its lame going through the same dungeon a ton of times and killing the same guys every time. It really wouldnt be to hard to come up with a toolset that would randomly generate an instance. However, no one is going to put the time into creating a random instance because they want each player to feel like they are part of the story. And because they want every player to spend countless hours trying to get the weapons that drop in those instances.

However, is a game company wanted to develop a game to advance MMO gameplay, and not just to get lots of money, then this would be one way to do that. Random instances would cause variety in the game, you wouldnt get bored of an instance, because it would always be your first time through.

Anyways, this is another idea that wont happen for a long time. So there is no reason stewing over it now.
