how cool would it be if engineers could build robots to fight for them.

i think it would be cool if you could ride inside your robot like a mech sute and fight. simular to the orc's pet class (forgot name)were they can eat their master to fight from inside your pet

Out of the question i'm afraid. No dwarf, even an engineer would entrust anything to such a contraption. using guns and turrets and such is one thing, having a fully autonomous robot is another thing entirely.

In fact, Dwarfs have used such a thing to guard the tombs of their ancestors, it was a mix of engineering and runes but it's the same basic concept.

Some form of summoned artillary cannon that can be used by players with enough ballistics skill.

Shoots a shell in the direction that it was placed, can adjust angle slightly.

Has a high minimum range.

Chaos dwarfs use huge mechanical/Daemon engines. As for your regular dwarfs, i would like to ask WHERE these robots are used. I have read them multiple times and not seen this...then again i miss small details sometimes

Frankly? No. It would be...twinky. What i would rather do is pull out a wheel lock/Revolving rifle and blow hell out of the closest enemies. Or pull out a hammer and go nuts, shooting point blanc at the stricken foes. WHOS WITH ME?
