Woah!

I believe I have found something quite amazing.

Shadow Warriors don't just stick to one stance of attack abilities
ex. Scout, Skirmish, Assault.

They can switch from either one!

I don't know if you all already knew this, but I just read it on this site right here.

Found it on this thread.

Anyways back to topic.

They can constantly switch from Scout, Skirmish, and Assault.
Well not necessarily constantly but close enough to it.
"After changing maneuvers there is a short period of time where you cannot change maneuvers again. This is to avoid 'Stance Dancing'.”

I think this has gotten me a little more attracted to the SW.
It adds a whole new way of playing them, more strategic ways, which I think will make them a difficult class.
Seems as though there will be a huge gap between GOOD players and BAD players.

Also they're are going to be a hell of a lot more mobile then I thought at first.

Constantly moving in order to put their stances into effectiveness.

At the end of that interview on that site he gives a couple skills for each stance. Which leads me to thinking that each stance will be of a certain category of damage/DoTs/DeBuffs.

Scout (Long Range)
- Direct damage range attacks.
Skirmish (Close Range)
- DoTs and DeBuffs
Assault (Melee)
- Damage abilities with snares.

I'm not saying that Skirmish may not have direct damage attacks. But it seems as though a majority of them will be DeBuffs and DoTs.

Any ideas on how you think the SW is going to turn out added with this new information?

And aside from it being older news, they are still separate masteries that will require you to put points into certain areas. You could, put points equally into all 3 I suppose, but then you'd just be average at all of them, or you could put points into just one and be an expert at assault, etc...

Just because you can switch, doesn't necessarily make it a good idea.

Nah, It's like the WoW Warrior, just because you are protection specced, doesn't mean you can't use battle or berserker stances.

Oh, and to the OP, this news were in the WHA frontpage.

Skirmish (Close Range)
- DoTs and DeBuffs

Dose DoTs mean damage over time?

I just looked at it.

and was posting it for some people who might have not seen it.

I don't mind the trolling. I suppose I deserve it haha.
