well..instead of just syaing no... lol..

white lion.. use white lions as pets (which is sorta new to lore) and while becoming a white lion you need to wrestle a white lion with your bear hands to death..and make a cape out of its pelt..which is very protective against ranged attacks...

but supposibly you kill a mother white lion..and the white lion you take is a baby...and you raise it as a pet (something like that im not a lore buff)

Just to clarify, when he says 'become a White Lion' it is the White Lion as a title (the career), not an actual white lion.

But as has been said, no they can't become were-lions, so to speak. At most, they might be able to fight in a way inspired by the animal in some way. Other than that, it is just a pet and a name (and a cape).

I am not sure on lore myself but after killing a lion and taking its pelt they gain the title as white lion. But I am not 100% sure.

The 'White lion' is a career name, Let's just call him 'strong elf' for convenience* sake.
Now. The 'strong elf' wonders into the forest, finds a lion, kills it, and makes a cape out of the pelt. The strong elf puts on the cape and is now called a 'White lion'.
The strong elf with the new aquired* title is following the footsteps of the lion he just killed. He finds her nest and steals her baby. Now he raises this baby to be his pet, which will fight together with him ( White Lion + white lion).
