So KotBS, a diamond in the rough?

I've been checking the KotBS forums for quite some time now, and each day theres next to no new posts. This gives me the signal that either KotBS players don't care or that not as many people are actually planning on being a KotBS.

What does that mean? It means that we can shine even brighter in the face of battle. We need to pick up the slack that those players left, but we'll be the best of the best.

So stay active on here Knights!

Not saying I wouldn't have liked it at some points, but I heard alot of rumors that you could only do combat on your mount.

I get your point, but the majority of discussion across the whole forum is speculation (based on whatever information has ben scrounged)! However, I do believe that the KotBS has been undermined somewhat; they havn't even come close on a coverage scale...

And from the distinct lack off coverage (for whatever reason, probably a fair and reasonable one, I'm not griping here!!! HONEST!!! :D) It means there is less to talk about!

Im sure that when more stuff comes outthere will be more to saaaay =]

KoTBS really is the least represented as far as information goes for empire classes. I've seen at least a handful of videos for each of the other empire classes but all i've seen is one KoTBS video with like 20 seconds of gameplay.

Obviously we are melee tanks and have some sort of command buff system which we know next to nothing about. I just hope our different attacks and moves look close to as cool as the stuff seen in that new Swordmaster video.

I have to say that my hype level for the class and as a result, game was greatly reduced due to the twisting announcements made by the developers. In none of them they tried to calm the people who worried down, which may very well mean that it'll be as bad as expected.

So I'm waiting for a thorough explanation about how it'll be incorporated into the game by them to raise my hype level and contribution to the forums. I'd bet that there are others like me.

I'd like to be a KotBS, but only if I can use a greatsword without embarrassing myself. I don't want to be a MDPS, but my group already has a shield tank, so I need to be able to provide some damage and buffs. Damage line with buff secondary ftw!

Now, personally, I don't feel that feathers are a /not- thing at all. It's just a respectful adherence to the code of Knighthood. It's a symbol of status, really. Think of the witches and their hats in Terry Pratchett's discworld series. People see the hat, and know 'that's a witch, respect them or turn into a toad...'

In WAR, they'll see the feathers and know 'oh dear, it's those really well coordinated players who don't take cheek, don't spout out random stupidity and yell at each other for getting killed and, best of all, who don't screech noob into their microphone's every five seconds, but instead mumble 'impressive...' after killing 5 of our destruction team...'

*Destruction team whimpers*

I have to say, as a long time Empire TT player, that I liked the look of the Empire and that includes the feathers. Now, that being said, let me add that I do not want me character to look like he is wearing a chicken on his head. One or two feathers is cool, but anything more than that is pushing it.

Though, I must say that a KotBS specced to buff coupled by a full Grace/remaining points in Salvation Warrior Priest and backed by a Runepriest specced to heal are a freaking frightening 3 people group... Add 3 random DPSsers (of which at least one ranged) and this is a group I wouldn't like to meet, definitely...Title should be "So KotBS, A rock in a pile of rocks?":rolleyes: ... The problem is just that the Knights are such good tacticians. So good infact that they avoid exposing any kind of information about them or their abilities <.<

Exactly, we still don't even have masteries, least last time I checked. We are the mirror for the Chosen, and the best defensive tank, thats all I know so far.

Actually I believe the devs said the KotBS was an offensive tank who isn't afraid to use dirty tactics to win, similar to the Black Orc. Ironbreaker and Chosen have both been described as the most heavily armored tanks for their respective realms.

I think its human nature for people to rush in and get excited about the classes they have lots of info on, while shunning and even maligning the classes that have remained more mysterious - This especially holds true for those of shallower mental capacity...;)

I believe once this class hits the deck, and people realize what it can do, there is going to be a new song heard and a not-so-insignificant number of shallow-minds will be rushing in to establish their KotBS character...

I for one have faith that the KotBS will shine and shock a lot of people once we go live... In fact I look forward to those early days when the opposition, who think its a weak, impotent class, get their bells rung by this tank...

For an elf you are very confused about things. We are going to kill so many of you pointy earred fools that we will have to start making graveyards because the pile of corpses on the ground blocks the path to your city.

KOTBS seems kind of cool. Cooler then a lot of the other order classes at least. But I have to say the High elves have the coolest order classes by far.
