The latest newsletter is hitting inboxes across the world today. This issue includes several photos from E3 and links to many of the previews gleaned from their presentation. Also, new Dwarf concept art and screenshots, not to mention new video phone diaries from Paul Barnett. Check it out.

That means we'll probably be seeing the concept art, screenshots, etc. for the empire and chaos during the orc/dwarf betatest.

Smart way to develop a game. :)

Maybe someone on here knows the answer, I hope. The convention in Leipzig, Germany is open for public? If so, I will have to go. :p

Wheres Sandras' FaQ? :(

But on a serious note, I liked the new dwarf images.

The lack of lots of new information is because of E3 for anyone whos wondering. I should imagine it was lucky to even get this months newsletter due to the sheer amount of hours Mythics been showing off their game 'on the move'.

Anyway, this month E3 gave me all the information I could have asked for. It's always good to want more and this month's making me want more than ever.

Looks neat, not to much news but thats to be expected with E3 just passed eh :)
I also tracked down whats bugging me on some screenshots the past months:
That Dwarf structure for example, Its missing shadows on its surfaces (corners etc) and the lighting just looks a bit bland, I would not mind if it looked a bit more weathered either, way to clean to my taste.

Wel maybe its just for the cartoony look but I asume its still WIP :)

Yes, it's open.

I wonder if they will be at Games Workshops Games Day in cologne too. It's on the list at warhammeronline.com, but the schedule at games-workshop.de doesn't mention WAR.

The lighting in almost all of the dwarf structures isn't done yet, it's obviously not going to look like that at release.

*blown away* Wow! I didn't expected so much good stuff in a newsletter right after E3! The diarires were awesome (the train that's blocking out the sun with the smoke it releases! the new Slayer mohawks! the squig!) as always. The concept art was superb and the screenshots even better. The textures on that station present an astonishing amount of detail. Whatever graphical novelties will be developed in the future, this game will still stand out as an artistic masterpiece.
But what made my jaw drop was when I realized how absolutely humogous the station is. I couldn't really get the scale right until I noticed the golden ticket booths (that's what you call the place where you sell tickets, right? - because that's what I think this is) underneath the carvings of dwarf faces.

I hope the Dwarven Train Station will be in an RVR zone. If it is it will be a huge choke point for transportation throughout the zone meaning more intense RVR.

I hope that is the case, because that would be more around the corner for me. I forgot that Leipzig is in the south east of Germany, which in Dutch standards is far away (Americans would call that around the corner, I know).

Edit: It took me some time to find where I saw that this trainstation will be in Black Fire Pass.

So it can still be a PvP objective.

Actually the newsletter didnt have so much new info, big part of it was handling E3.
But new videos were good, and now we have somekind of time when part 3 of the trailer appears. Hopefylly next newsletter would have some information/ pics from other races than Greenskins and Dwarfs, i know that other races are still in process, but it would be nice to see even some consepts of them.

Really enjoyed the newsletter, ofcourse I like any new WAR info I can get my hands on. The train station looks nice, and I love all the concept art they included.

Best part ofcourse was the video diaries, some fun stuff to be seen.

Very nice news letter. I love Paul's video diaries, always fun and exciting. Wish I could have been one of those lucky few who got to see the game firsthand. I am thrilled with the way WAR is starting to turn heads in the gaming industry. Good job Mythic, you guys are doing great.

Sadly, I am still left off of the beta tester list.:( Oh well.

Animations in this game so far are just wonderful. No other mmorpg i have seen animates the mobs as much (maybe as impacting) as the few vids we have seen so far. REally tho the squig looked great , and was a great addition to the plegue barrer , to see mob animation. (also SS of giants has shown they also have some too.)

Paul's video diaries are the single-best form of dev-communication I've ever seen in an MMORPG. I don't know what exactly it is about them, but I just love them.

Dwarf concept art looks absolutely great.

Everything new I see about this game makes the wait harder and harder. It's really looking amazing.hehe yeah, first thing i do is cycle down to the bottom hoping for my name to appear :(Apparently I'm not the only one. :p
