Im gonna start a thread for this picture I found of Black Guards. I looked around through other threads and couldnt find this particular one so I decided to make a thread for it.

Heh, no kiddin'. Im interested to see what there armour looks like from other tiers, but judging by all the recent pics of them I bet they'll look fantastic. (pretty obvious that these are tier4 BG's)

looks to civilized... the Halbergs on the sides look much cooler... needs moar pointy blades.

Hmmm...the one on the left looks rather similar to halberds used in the Empire, but more edgy and pointy. The one on the right has the same basic layout but appears to be a higher tier weapon. The central one somehow looks like a mix of a spear and a draich.
So while those on the sides have more pointy blades, the central one has a very unique look, which is why I'd prefer that one. :)

Yes, Black Guard will be my main Tank character, I think they are very cool, I think playing them will really bring back memories of my WHFB DE days!

Decent enough for Beta. They do, however, need better specular maps to go from the spray painted cardboard look to metal ;)...

You have to give it a minute or two until it loads. It does the samething to me.

I've noticed the same thing with the us version of the site. But for some reason the uk version (if I put "uk." at the front of the url like this: http://uk.media.pc.gamespy.com/media/748/748723/img_5399311.html) then it works (after a few moments of waiting).

I agree though; such problems shouldn't exist for a site of Gamespy's caliber.

There is no reason for it being a male only class, and it isn't a male only class either.

Yeah, after a second look they are indeed males. The hair styles are a dead give away, they are the same both in hair and facially to the male disciples.

Also, they dont have boob plates on there chests. ;)

Erh i got it from the warhammer world...i thought they might of been atleast have broader shoulders, they just look very "square" shape wise is the best i can describe them. Its probably just cause of the armour though, so i don't mind.
