i was wondering if there would be easter eggs in war they said they encouraged exploring by putting hidden quests and other stuff to give you exp now what about easter eggs going into some of those areas but some would say it neglects from the immersion of the world? possibly they would have to make it somehow "fit" into the world like a new professor from altdorf just invented glowing red swords but in the process burning his own skin in an accidental smelting accident then making his suit of armor that is black and has a catchy name like zarkz zader:mrgreen:

feel free to post your ideas about your would be easter eggs or argue if they break immersion

Was a very enjoyable vid, if they can keep the whole spirit of the game thing going. I am going to enjoy this game just a little bit more. It's a good plan on expanding on what other games have done with badge collections and other similar thing and want to see the ToK blow everything else out of the water.

Always had fun tracking down all the little extras that the Final Fantasy style games always have.

Yes. There will be tons and tons of easter eggs.

And by our definition, "Easter Eggs" is just something really neat and quirky that you can find, that some people may overlook. It can be a secret place, an inside joke, an allusion to a book, song, or movie, an overlooked lore connection, (hey, these two guys have the same last name, maybe they are related?) etc... In other words:
- All pop-culture references are Easter Eggs. But...
-Not all Easter Eggs are pop-culture references.

Paul is a freaking genius.
I Agree 100%. I loved to explore on WOW until they put in patch 2.4 and you couldn't jump up mountains anymore. There is just something about being able to go somewhere that not everybody even knows about. I think that they should bow down to Paul for saying what we all think to the developers. He is a real person, who knows what people on the outside like.;)

"we are more about making a quality game then hitting a deadline"

And thats why I love these guys Paul is damn right its all about the little things that make me look back at a game and say damn that was a great game. For example in MGS3 at the end when you kill The Boss even though your in a cut scene the game makes you hit the square button (actually taking the shot to kill her) and thats what made it such an emotional moment in the game the fact that you felt like you were the one that actually pulled the trigger instead of just watching her die...

Don't forget though for one second that they are a company trying to make money. If EA did not acquire them the game (from my understanding) had a good chance of releasing already and if that happened we would be dealing with the issues they are trying to resolve in beta.

I am now 210% sure that Paul is either a genius or needs to put down the coffee.

Either way, I have no doubt that WAR will be of high quality (not that I ever doubted it to begin with). :D
