I found an interesting post on the EA Mythic website in the section:
The making of the WAR Cinematic Trailer
Part Three: Elf Fight
And I Quote:
Step Two: Storyboards
As you can see from the storyboards, we took another crack at the action, this time featuring a Dark Elf Sorceress (female character, check! Magic, check!) and High Elf White Lion (Cool warrior class, check!). All looked pretty good, except we went a bit too far by giving the White Lion a cool new ability – the Lion’s Roar - that we could not guarantee would be in the game (or guarantee Games Workshop would approve) So we scratched that battle and finally settled on the Witch Elf vs. Mage pairing

Thats actually really old and known. Its where most of hte first White Lion rumors were based on. Then came that convention poster.

Slayers were originally a player class, then Mythic dropped them.
Blur probably got the early notes about Slayers being playable and by the time they found out they were dropped, the cinematic was done lol
So the cinematic notes about the White Lion are a pretty decent source. Unlike the first cinematic, this one is going to be based on notes from Mythic after the game is pretty much complete.

Wait... I thought these notes were from the first cinematic...

Ya those were note from the first cinematic. The one where the slayers are in. So it might not be valid, but seeing as how White Lions are a shoe in it really doesnt matter, unless Mythic makes up an entirely new class.

I don't think this is conclusive evidence.
However, I think conclusive evidence is that someone was flipping through their ToK at a convention and found "White Lions killed" stat.
Could just be NPCs, but it's more conclusive than a 372842 year old video. Okay not quite that old.

Oh, that's slick.
I dunno though. It seems like if they were almost in the cinematic (which is ooooold) then something must have happened since then for them not to be announced. Especially since it's basically accepted by the entire community.
Maybe they're just waiting because they know waiting will create more speculation. :\
Just get on with it Mythic, imo.

that info is over a year old and has been discussed a thousand times in the WL forum... should probably close this 1.

Hopefully its because they want to announce them with all the possible info possible, including videos, masteries and such.
