I was wondering awhile back why we don't have any official GW sources for WH lore. Maybe with the new additions and such with the stories and lore inclusions for all the different monsters, they will shove something in for lore?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Negative/Positive comments?

A major part of the ToK is to provide lore to those people who are not as familiar with warhammer lore as people who have already played it in some capacity. It also does this pretty well because every time you accomplish something in the ToK you'll be provided with some little snippet of lore.

Well, just search for ToK interviews and so on. Some have quick glimpses at text.

the ToK will have lore in it. From some vids, it looks like that say with monsters, it has a description and they what unlocks are associated with it.

Anyway i dont think there is any offical GW stuff for WAR because, WAR is set outside of the "normal" Warhammer setting, meaning its warhmmer, but its a parrellell universe if you will. This was done so that Mythic could go outside of lore and design a game.

Oh I see, so it would be like SWG?

The ToK contains information on major events/places/creatures. Mainly for those who either are not familiar with the Warhammer world and wish to be, and also for those who have a penchant towards finding out everything that can about a tiny bug named James who existed in one certain time and had a fight with another called Mary ;).

It promotes exploration and gives you a little something extra when you do explore. It's essentially "Just another thing to do" but in a much more inclusive and enjoyable way. ;)
