Crafting Gear bouns?

Anyone thing that there should be some high level crafting gear that has a weak defence but strong effects for crafting skills? Do you think this is a good idea?

Likewise do you think there should be some effects on other items as well to build combo's and things.

No. While there is crafting, WAR isn't a very crafting-heavy game. Just as there's unlikely to be any casual wear, I don't think the game needs crafting wear. Combat gear is good enough.

Chances are that players will already have to acquire enough different types of gear-sets. There's been mention of RvR-gear, PvE-gear, Bounty Hunter sets and whatnot.

It's a nice idea, but space on characters is most likely rather limited. I'd rather cut down on the load.

What bonusses would crafting gear have even?

Chance to make two potions instead of one?
