or is there a limit to how many I can down, in a certain amount of time?.. I haven't heard any developer cover this yet.

No info from the developers yet...but I very much believe there will be cooldowns on potions. In such a PvP orientated game, having no limits on potion swilling would be incredibly stupid.

Yeah, there are definitely potion CD's, I'm sure they are reasonable though.

I'm thinking, with the idea they put behind the length and potency... it seems logical that they put an extremely long cooldown time on them. I mean, why would you have a potion that lasts long, but isn't very effective, if you could just make a bunch of potions that hardly last at all but double your damage? I'd guess the cooldown on all buff potions would be something like 6 hours then? I mean how else would they prevent the really potent but short duration potions from being really cookie cutter?

By making the powerful short duration potions have such short durations that they can't be made perma.

Think Haste/Insane Strength potions in WoW. They eat a TWO MINUTE timer for a FIFTEEN SECOND effect.

I am NOT in beta, but there is a beta, but then since i am NOT in beta and anyone in beta can't say anything no one really knows.

I'm reminded of the Alchemist in Ragnarok Online with his massive cart full of healing potions so that he can keep fighting for absurd amounts of time. >_> I'm sure there's a cooldown on potions here.

I have to admit I'm less worried about potion cooldowns because they can be adjusted easily. My concern is; do the potions dissappear when you have been killed? Whats the point of making long-term potions with weakened effects if you have to reapply it every 5 min?
