I don't see why not. Not like they will let your black orc, or any character for that matter, be pure pink. The colors will merely change the shade of certain parts, so you can make it have pink trim or whatnot. Dunno why it would be a problem for a black orc in particular, at any rate.

The way I heard it, from a podcast, was when the idea of dyes came up the art team threw a fit and said only if available dyes go with the theme of the class. So I don't see Orc using these colors.

Hehe, purple armour on an orc might look like the incredible hulk :p. I doubt that they'll allow you to make your amour a colour that really doesn't match your race in any way. I hope that for certain colours that don't suit certain races at all, like purple and pink on an orc, that you will only be allowed to have just a small tint at most.

The operative word there was ORK's i made a thread on this and got converted pink/purple are chaos colors its not a big deal. as long as its not HOT PINK other classes can have allt he pink they like.

I'm gonna say no. Purple, *maybe*, but pink, no. Pink is okay for zealots and magus, but I don't see anyone else getting it. I've seen goblins in screenshots with purple though, and am guessing dark elves will have a purple. But pink black orcs? No.

exactly, all these happy rainbow colours should be forbidden for most classes on the destruction side. Especially Greenskins, I have never seen any pink or purple in any of the artbooks of Warhammer Fantasy. Now thinking of it, in the dye podcast, I saw a gold chosen one, thats really stupid imo.

I think pink would be really fitting for Black Orcs. It's flashy, you stand out among all the other guys. It's right in your face as Orcs are. Orcs also don't seem to really care about what they wear as long as it functions, nor do they seem to care about taste of any sorts.

And just because some humans associate pink with doesn't mean Orcs have to.

I can see pink fitting for all races except Dwarfs. I'm not just favoriting my race, just Dwarfs are way too stubborn and you will not be able to put pink on a Dwarf. Maybe on some trimming in a Runepriest's robe, but thats it.

Actually RED should be allowed, caus all orc'es knows, red makes ya go fasta, dats why all dem chariots is painted red.

Red, Black, Green and variations on them (slightly)(with spikey bits).

In the Table Top universe any color scheme is permitted. So what are these "true" colors you speak of? I'm pretty sure GW sells pink hues of color for modeling.
