Read the full article here (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/article/alliance-exclusives/alliance-poll-site-feature-survey.html).

For the most part when it comes to adding new features to the site we already know the kinds of things that would be most beneficial for the community. In fact we have a few projects on the back burner that will enhance your experiance at the site, making information even easier to find. That said this weeks poll wants to know what other kinds of features you want to see on the site. Hit up the forums and let us know.

Race and Class forums are probably going to be needed as soon as this next newsletter comes out with the hint at giving out greenskin class details.

Besides that I think the War Guide could use some updating (I know Pendrako is already working on that).

Although, the search through developer's posts only might be nice to have as well. :)

Needs signature photo's :)

also: a place where people can discuss wow vs war in total disregard of having to be warned or risk having their thread closed because people have already brought up the subject. I Suggest such a forum and it was closed, lol.

As you can see it was edited, /claps

War vs. WoW forum thread or own forums would allow everyone who wants to talk about that subject to do so, I can count atleast 6 threads in the general discussion forum that relate to wow.

Yes but the reason why most of those threads were probably closed is because it is a dead horse now. The similarities and differences have been argued/discussed so many times now there is no real need to bring them up over and over.

WAR != WoW

Comparing one to the other really does nothing, especially since the game hasn't even been released and we do not have much to base our arguments off of in regards to WAR.

At the moment, I'd just like to see "A Search Tool to Search Developer Posts Only."

In the future, Server, Career, and/or Race specific forums would be nice.

Sorry Ezze that will never happen, I am perfectly fine with comparing a previous game system , say the leveling system to that of WOW, but a WOW vs WAR forum is not needed here. It only creates tension.

At the same time, people if you want to have a picture sig, load it onto photo bucket, use html to link it. easy as that. that way someone else is dealing with the bandwith, not this site. If people want to see your photo sig they will click it.

One of the things I would love to do for this forum is come release have a newspaper type entry, where we write about events on the server, but make it look like those old mordheim newspaper articles we used to get in the WD.

Another thing that would be interesting is a item database with proper estimates on item worth

As Observer stated a FAQ sheet would be good. It can answer people's most basic questions about the game and give people a basic background of what to expect from the game itself.

Everything else can follow suit.

The current FAQ certainly "can answer people's most basic questions about the game" (the Races of Warhammer (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/article/alliance-exclusives/the-races-of-warhammer-online.html) helps with basic backgrounds) - the problem seems to be getting people to use it.

I voted for Racial, Server and Class forums.

I find them usefull for sharing and finding specific information related to where you play and what you play.

Any plans to add a quest database?

I voted for:

Race Specific Forums,
A Developer Post RSS Feed,
More Avatars ; Or simply allow people to submit their own (non-offensive ofc) avatars.

Otherwise than that, the website is very functional and getting the information you want is very easy here. Keep up the good work!

Once again I find myself in agreement with miber. I voted all 4 of these things but the developer post search feature is the only one that would be useful right now. Maybe race forums could be done now also. Careers we don't know enough about yet to warrant their own forums. But eventually they will be needed. Server forums won't be needed until servers are announced, which is usually a month before release or something like that.

I'd like to see developer posts from other forums. This site has the best community bar none, but unfortunately (or fortunately) it's not the largest nor the only WAR community. Since this is the case, obviously there are other forums and just as obviously Mythic posts at thoes community sites as well.

For the big announcements these are normally mirrored at all the major sites but developer posts talking about this design or that, normally aren't. What I would like to see is a central location to find thoes posts. I think something like this would go a long way to making Warhammer Alliance your one-stop shop for ALL warhammer information.

I definately think that once the details on careers, races, and servers are released there should be forums for each of them.

lol, Id just want the general discussion forum cleaned up , and just leave people that want to discuss it in the other forum.

Iam in favor of little discussions, i just want to see war related topics in the general forum.

Atleast then those people who keep making new threads can post them in the noone cares forum.

WoW is the biggest mmo out there, its going to keep comming up regardless.

Iam also in favor of a developer post searching feature.

I'd like to see developer posts from other forums.Actually this is something that I'm working on. The easist way to do this is to parse RSS feeds for data. However, not all forums where the developers posts give RSS feeds. Also, if we went the spider route and just had something crawl their site looking for stuff, well some sites can't handle the additional load a spider would represent, or they might ban it's IP address. A great idea one that we are looking into.

As for everyone else please keep voting and leaving your comments. I can't tell you how important your wishes are. When we built the site the whole community was involved in it's creation. They talked about the things they wanted and we did our best to impliment them. Today is no different.

I'd like the dev post tracker and more avatars for now. While the server/race/class forums will evenutally be needed, I see those as a long ways in the future. Looking over the beta schedule the NDA isn't going to be lifted for a long time which will really limit what can be discussed on them to what info mythic releases.
