ALT grouping.

Most people got various alts along with a main in a guild. It can often be quite hard to remember who is behind all these alts at any time. Previous MMO's I've played had the possibillity to write a note for each guild member. This could be used to name the main for each alt. However I find this a bit lacking, so I got an suggestion..

How about beeing able to tag the guild members, so they can be grouped in the guild roster? That way you can always see what alts belonging to each guildie online. You could also be able to tag one of your characters as a main. This way the number of actual members in the guild could also be determined easily.

The name of the character you are logged into could be displayed in the roster. At one side of your name you could have a + icon you could click on to expand and display the list of alts you "own".

i believe this was used in Guild Wars on friends lists and guild rosters.

if you were on an alt on the same account it would show the alts name instead of the mains name and put an AKA in a bubble next to it.

i believe it is a good idea but some people would rather level or play alts without being inturupted by guild members.

Yes, I fully support the posibillity to have a little privacy. The alt would of course not be automaticly added to the group. Well not if they where not a part of the guild anyway.

Well you do have the option of a last name in this. It doesn't have to be unique either. You could just give all our avatars the same last name.

That might be one way to solve it; at least, until your alt is a White Lion and your main is a Runepriest. :cool:
