Thank you for your e-mail. It is great to see how excited people are for the beta! Unfortunately, we do not have any specific information as to when more testers will be invited to the beta. The beta is an ongoing process, and as we approach launch, more and more people will be invited to the beta.

Didn't we get an update saying that there would be some new on the BOOM contest? I mean, if you're going to have a contest, at least tell us WHEN the winners are chosen. I was almost under the impression that they would sort this out sometime this year...

I'm just as worried as you are =[ Since Open Beta = Non-NDA'd beta which is apparently only a couple weeks away they need to suck it up and get those Boom! invites out. That's pretty week to only give them a week or two of closed beta after spending money on one of their contests.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see them out sometime tomorrow. I can't see it being much later than this week either.

From the past of invites...they are doing it every other work day. So next invite news SHOULD be on Wednesday unfortunately. :(

I rember the lords of everquest game giving a free invite to eq2 beta... for some of the people it didnt give them more then a week or 2 as well before the next set of invites went out.

I'm feeling you there. When I signed up, the only computer I had access to did not meet the spec. Now I have updated my dxdiag file with my new machine (which runs Crysis and AoC just fine), but it's too late. The parser has separated the sheep from the goats, and I will not get in until open beta.

We can't do In-Game Public quest since we aren't in Closed Beta...no reason for us not to here! Mwahhahahaha

The thing that peeves me off a bit is that they promised in the newsletter than Veteran Newsletter Subscribers, the faithful followers such as myself would be invited before other newsletter subscribers. That our names would be at the top of the list when the time came to draw from the lit.

I'm a vet newsletter sub, boom comic owner, a guild leader (with guildies who are in the beta and I'm not), an avid warhammer fannatic, and of course a CE owner, but still I'm not in the beta. Hell I even notified Mythic about a CE code scam that a website was spreading details on how to exploit free CE codes without paying for them. All this and still not invite. No, it's not my computer. My PC is top of the line only a few months ago.

I've had guildies tell me "Damn dude, it's a crying shame that I'm in it and you're not. You're a walking, talking Warhammer encyclopedia and I'm just a random dude."

/sigh

Oh well I can only hope that my name is drawn from the list of Boom Comic invites.

I feel all you guys that aren't getting in with all the affiliations. I guess your casual Joe off the street needs to test too...but this is ridiculous. I don't know how many hims and how many thems are in the beta (since I have yet to get an invite) but there shouldn't be this many people with affiliations and promised beta slots still not in there. If open beta is as close as everyone suspects, it's one of the biggest loads of bull $%#@ I've ever heard of. Maybe its not, maybe you'll get a few months with it in, but anything less than a month when you were promised a slot is a pretty low blow when random internet browser click and fill man has been playin for over a year.

Just my thoughts. If I sound sour...I am.

As for those who did not get in: the open beta is hopefully not too far away and there will be many more inites going out then (CE owners are guaranteed a spot). So try to keep positive and we'll all soon get to play the game on the fall release. I know I will keep my chin up at least.

A big part of me hopes it will be that far off. I also think it will be around then as well because of Bestbuy.com not sending out the CE codes until August 17th. So I think we all have a few more invites coming our way still.
