We've been getting a small number of questions via the feedback form from those of you who ordered Collector's Editions from certain retailers and have not yet received your codes. Please note, you must preorder from one of our partners, who are the only retailers authorized to give out Collector's Edition Preorder codes. If they are not on the following list, then you will not be eligible for your Head Start, Open Beta, or In-game item codes.

If you ordered from a retailer on this list and still have not received your codes, please contact your retailer. Thanks!

I Agree i think we are getting very close to open Beta.

I think the next newsletter will contain a state of the game from Mark. The State of the game will probably announce the road map for the next two months. By this I mean: date the nda will be lifted, date the Open Beta will begin and maybe even the release date.

my guess for a while had been open beta beginning the week of August 3rd, with the Patcher/downloader opening that friday or saturday to space out the bandwith, allow people to download it for a few days. This is just another piece added to the puzzle.

If you ordered from GameStop.com check the email address you signed up with. All the folks I know that pre-ordered the CE from there got them within hours of the order. Perhaps your spam filter got it...

Gamestop has screwed up every video game i've preordered.

I went with Amazon, and they were extremely helpful with the codes.

However, I had issues with the codes for Vanguard. Read: spending several 30 minute phone calls yelling at sales reps to put me on the phone with someone who DOES know what I'm talking about.

As a tip, just pull up the page from which you ordered it (so you can quote the page to sound way-smart) plus your order number, then just keep asking to be transfered until someone answers your question.

And don't call too late or they'll just put you on hold until they close -_-

I have yet to receive a response from my emails and the telephone calls are an automated service where it tells you how great and helpful their website is. Anyone know how I can actually talk to someone?

I was in the same boat as you last week. I had ordered the game the day it became available (march 26th I think) through the EA store and still had not receive my codes (or my hotmail just threw it in the garbage even though I was checking regularly). Had contacted them before and they told me to wait so I did for a few months. Anyway, long story short it got sorted out as follow

- Went to the following EA support page http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/home.php?p_sid=-YEelH9j and then clicked on contact us.
- Loged in with my account that I had used to purchase the game.
- Filled in the fields using PC, Warhammer Online, Game information and Pre-Release
- Filled in the question field making sure I was describing as best as possible the situation (also make sure you provide the date you ordered, the order number and the email address associated with your order)
- Then click on finish and save at the bottom

If everything went well you should have a question under the My questions tab on the left and you should receive a confirmation at the email associated with your EA account.

It then took only two days (and it was over the weekend too) for me to get things sorted out afterwards. The only extra piece of info they asked me was the last 4 digits of the credit card I had used to order. I finally received the answer with the codes in my email. (make sure you also have ea_store@fun.ea.com and customerservice@ea.com in your authorized sender list otherwise the emails they send you could end up in the spam folder).

3 months ago? was the pre-order bonus in effect that long ago? I don't know the exact date the bonus thing started, offering bonus items/OB/Headstart.All I can find is this:

That was posted on march 26th, so I would assume if you ordered from that day and beyond you should get the codes.

Not to put you down, but come on man. I just went to the place you ordered from, no where on the page listing the product does it even mention any items, codes. This is all it says:

I mean, just read what your buying, before you click accept, it's really not that hard.It sucks, but you really have no one to blame but yourself on this. I would just cancel and see if EASTORE link thats going around still works, and hope a code gets mailed. Its the only online place I've seen where you can still order it, everywhere else just completely removed it from their website.

Overhere in europe its even a bigger Chaoss, i bought a pre-order box, with the pre-order codes (which i can't even submit on the GOA website). It was a great buy for 10 euro and it gives me 10 euro off the collectors editions price... early access, extra quests, open beta access... (Aye i got those codes)

But according to the salesman, it does not give me the right to buy a collectors edition (tough the content of the pre-order box says different)

Its one big Chaoss, and GOA is busy with other things... So i'll prolly end up with early access, but no collectors edition to back it up, which will prolly have me start all over on a new account when i get the normall game..

I thought the bonus content was the in game items/quests, what else could that be?

Well i cancelled it and apparently it wasnt even CE, on the cancellation screen it was just Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and was charging me $78.85.. i guess it was my fault, not theirs, just because they tell me "we have no additional information on what is exactly in this product" besides "bonus content, art book, and graphic novel" when i email them doesnt mean its their fault.

Anyone else here order from BestBuy? I have yet to receive anything beyond confirmation that my order was accepted. And when I called customer support they claim that the codes will not be sent till "sometime in August" and the release for the game is in September.

I called our local bestbuy store, out of pure curiosity, and talked to someone knowledgable. Granted, this isn't the customer service number and it isn't the online store, but I hope this helps.

If you pre-ordered after July 14th, you will not get a code.

If you ordered in-store you get a box with the information in it. Online orders shoudl have gotten their codes right as they ordered, but he has had people come in and ask about the codes. Supposedly though, some customers who ordered online got the email almost immediately with the codes.

What are you talking about? Even if the release WAS the 23rd of september, the head start is 3 days before that, which is the 20th.

Ive ordered from both EB games and best buy and got codes from neither. Eb has refuse to answer my questions and I cant get ahold of a real person. I ordered march 28th. I got an email from a best by rep I would not get my codes till the 17th of sep. Its been very annoying.

I've read several posts that stated that people who ordered their ce from bb online would receive a box with their codes on the 17th of August. I'm hoping that rep just read the date wrong. If they're pushing back to september I would be very angry since that defeats half the point of the ce which was open beta guarantees.

Just for everyone's knowledge. I also ordered from Bestbuy.com (never again by the way). This was about two months ago I think. I sent an email within days of buying it asking about the codes. They told me at that time, they would be sending it all out on August 17th. I recently sent them an email, expressing concern and requesting information about whether they are moving that date up at all with the more iminent release of the game. They responded that the date of August 17th is still set.

On a second note, all future purchases for games will probably be through Gamestop. I went in there this weekend to trade in my super-old gamecube, and a bunch of console games I haven't touched in over a year. While talking, I chatted with the clerk a bit, and we got talking about WAR, and expressed how pissed off I was at bestbuy for taking their sweet- time with getting this part of the purchase to me. When I left, I magically had a pre-order paper with happy-codes in my bag ;)

Well thats just stupid - I should have just gone in store - maybe I will just cancel and do just that - I ordered mine from eastore.com and according to warhammeronline.com I should get beta codes for doing so - and everthing else - if they do not give them to me their will be hell to pay - hell to pay! - do not tell me I am going to get something for preorder and then not deliver - and do not tell me you do not get codes from eastore.com because it says you do right on warhammer onlines website -

I received my pre-order codes from game stop on 6/13/08. I am unsure why you guys are having any issues. I have pre-order a ton of games from game stop and have never had any issues. The only time I have had to email them asking why I had not received my codes yet was for "War In Conflict". They advised me that when sending out codes they wait for a certain day of the week and send out all of the codes due out, on that day.
