I got a notice last week when the date changed, but since the date was moved up and not back I didn't see anything in there about having to re-confirm. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled on me. :)

I still haven't gotten an email about the new shipping dates, and my order still reflects the old shipping date, nor have i received this re-confirming email. I've fired off an email to amazon to ask whats up.

i've received new shipping dates from amazon at august 1st, but nothing about reconfirming purchase whatsoever...
log into amazon account, no need to reconfirm either :confused:

More specifically, in your Media Library, click the tab at the top of the page that reads "Downloads." From there you will be taken to the section where your codes are stored.

I got an email from them telling me that my CE will be shipped sooner than expected. Sept 22 to be exact. Other than that, everything seems in order.

I haven't gotten an e-mail from Amazon since like the week after CE was announced. No new shipping dates etc. I looked into my amazon account and its still ordered but the date is like October 6th.

If you have pre-ordered from amazon.com and you havent gotten your open beta key's or anything like that go to your account in amazon then go to media library and click on downloads they should be there unless you are talking about something else.

Great... another pre-launch debacle where half of us got the e-mail from Amazon telling us it is shipping earlier and half did not.

Even better... nobody seems to have been asked by Amazon to click a link to confirm the pre-order.

I'm in a different boat. I pre-ordered the SE from Amazon and have no codes. The item description doesn't mention them but from what has been said about all pre-orders I should get 2 codes in my media library, downloads.

I wonder if they are waiting until the 5th or if I will have to cancel and re-order when the product is updated with codes.

What a mess. That dirty pre-order page better not get pushed back another day. :D

I also didn't get an email from amazon about the shipping date change. I even checked my account and there is no notes about re-confirming. It still says the ship date is October 1st for me. I ordered way back in March, and received the first updated shipping letter they sent out on May 4th. I really hope i didn't get shafted out of the CE of WAR. :neutral:

I pre-ordered back in April and the only email I've gotten was the one when they first bumped up the release date two weeks. My order still has it shipping in October.

This is my first time posting on these forums but, i thought this was a good topic to help some people out that weren't getting any update emails from Amazon. Yesterday I finally got tired of waiting for my account to be updated and wanted to make sure thee wasn't something wrong with my order so, i emailed Amazon and this is the response i got.

"Upon investigating your order, I discovered a problem that was preventing your order from giving the revised estimated delivery date. This problem has been corrected, and your order has been revised."

I would guess im not the only peson with this problem preventing their account from updating since there have been alot of people posting about not receiveing an update email. So if your haven't received an email yet from Amazon, I would email them just incase so your order doesn't get shipped out on the wrong date. On the bright side of things Amazon upgraded my shipping to 1 day for free. :D

Friendly emails to retailers when you have a question are never a bad thing. Just remember that "friendly" part. :p I haven't been informed by Amazon about any changes to the release date since I received the October 2nd date.

On another note: I've noticed that each of the pre-order codes comes with the following Expiration Dates:

In-Game Items: Expires:December 31, 2009
Open Beta Access: Expires:September 30, 2008
Live Game Head Start: Expires:December 31, 2008

Not sure if these are old new or not.

Thanks to this thread, I noticed I was missing a code on my Amazon page. I ordered two copies of the Collector's Edition back in June for myself and my girlfriend, and I only received 5 codes. One of my in-game item codes is missing.

Jeeze... Hopefully this won't take long to resolve.

I also did this and it worked. I just selected the link to change the shipping, and selected the same one I already had (next day). The date then changed from October 6th to September 22nd.

Finally got a response from Amazon after my second email.

They sent me a form letter saying something about supplies and back order and the product being delayed (which I hope is unapplicable since I pre-ordered back in April) and upgraded my shipping to One Day at no charge.

So if you haven't heard about your Amazon order, I'd keep on them till they update and give you free shipping.

Well I needed to change my ship address anyway (just bought a house) and everything updated. Wonder why I got no e-mail.
