Got The Beta Invite

so i have the biggest smile on my face as i type this... mythic didnt forget about me.... i got the invite to beta put code in and all that stuff and am downloading the file now it started out very slow but is now up around 208kb/s and looking at like 14 hours till done at 5%. i have cable internet through comcast and am watching the olympics but i have a question. ohh and the tv and cable come outa the same box. here it is ... will watching tv slow my download at all or having the tv box on slow the rate of the war torrent file?? should i turn the tv off and the tv box so its just pure internet and no more interuptions for the internet ??

No. I used to work for a cable company, trust me Cable and TV run off separate frequencies, even though they run through the same line. They use different frequencies and signal strengths. That's why your TV can be out and your internet will be working, or vica versa during an outage.

open beta will not start in 4 days is my guess cause wouldnt that defeat the purpose of letting people into the closed beta? and no my comp is well pass the requirements :( oh well just gatta wait some more i guess :(

I thought OB was starting on the 15th or 16th? Maybe they are inviting the CE dudes now to at least relieve stress on the servers on the 15th when EVERYONE starts to download and play.

The ability to input your game codes into your account (your actual account, not your beta center account) starts in 4 days. The actual open beta does not start in 4 days.
