I've been at 99.9% for well over an hour now. My download rate keeps fluctuating between 10 and 40 kb/s. The time remaining also has stayed between 2 and 5 minutes for this entire time. Any recommendations?

There's a thread for this already, and be patient.

Close your client and restart it? You won't lose any of your download progress.

I could not find anything on this specific problem. It's just a little strange that the speed it was at should have finished it about 6-7 hours ago and I can't figure out the problem.

They may be forcing you to seed before you get that last 1%

Stop looking at the torrent download. It knows when you watch it.

I think you may be right. I tried forcing it to download a 2mb file and it sat there downloading it at 20 kb/s without changing it at all.

I tried, but that didn't work either! Maybe the internets will work better if I smash my fist into the monitor screaming, "WAAAGGHH!"
