Closed Beta download alternative?

Is there an alternative to downloading the Closed Beta through torrents? I've tried about 7 different programs to download it and the only one that worked never goes above about 25kb/s(Port forwarding doesn't work). Is there a site where I can just download the client normally or is the torrent the only way to go?

Ive d read alot about the patcher but some don't recommend it so i wont either.

no direct downloading, the best bet is get utorrent, right click on the icon in the bar to the right and set the upload to atleast 30, i have mine at 50kpbs and i'm hitting 160 quite often on downloads, most torrent things will throttle your downloads if you don't share, so the more you upload the more you download its really quite exponential, share at 25 ? you'll get at most 80 with few exceptions

also look at the official torrent thread. unless you are on dial up you should be seeing good numbers after about an hour , it takes a while for everything to speed up , it isn't a racing car.

don't put it on unlimited because it doesn't increase the kpbs limit, right click on the icon in the little icon bar , and manually set it to 50, it'll ramp up quite nice, if i would've done so on saturday i would've had it done by now haha.

I had Bit Torrent, and it went 400kb on average over 11hours of download. I seted up my Peers to 999 so I had lot of people feeding me.

So even if the download was 100% done right now, I wouldn't be able to play yet anyway? Is the game down at the moment or something?

The servers for the new CE Beta folks won't be coming up until Midweek. So Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. One of those days so don't sweat it, just let it download. It gets faster as it goes.

Yeah well I have upload speeds set to 50 and I'm getting an ETA of 1w 2ds. How do I let more seeds and peers in on Utorrent?
