Well, if you go by 40k lore(currently the only lore source regarding the ... umm... birth of orcs) Orcs DO just pop out of the ground hehe

The lore states that orcs are basically highly evolved spa ce plants, and if a orc feels like there are not enough orcs around he (unknowlingly) starts releasing spores that grow under ground until orcs pop out!

I think the Devs of WAR are going with this since there will be no female orcs as well

i'd wager, thats news to everyone infact.

snotlings are not baby orcs, nor are goblins 'teenage' orcs.
the race consists of those three 'species' of animated fungus, plus a bunch of non animated or inteligent fungus.

Greenskins don't grow through age, they grow through power. The most powerfull orc is the biggest and vica versa. Any greenskin will keep on growing untill he is beaten up good by a boss. If the greenskin is agressive, brutal and cunning enough he will beat the boss instead and will become the boss and thus keep on growing. He then will enter a 'duel' with the next boss when he has grown to a larger size etc.

If snots do grow into goblins who grow into orcs then goblin warbosses could not exist since they would have already grown into orcs, but goblin warbosses do exist.

How can they get beaten up by orcs if there aren't any orcs close by?

Grom for example was the grand general of his army, there was nobody above him. Nobody to beat him up. He only had orcs in his army that he could easily beat up.

And skarsnik, another gobbo warboss. Leader of all night goblin tribes near one dwarven hold. No orcs around to beat him up, he's the grand general of his army as well. Nobody above him.

Please, check your sources before making claims like these. The only mention i have ever seen of your theory is that it was one made up by empire scholars. And frankly, these 2 famed goblin warbosses say otherwise.

And if goblin warbosses are what you say then how come they are more powerfull then normal orcs? Shouldnt they have 'grown' into those already if they were equally powerfull.

This theory just doesn't match reality and therefore is false, it was made up by empire scholars who for all i know haven't ever seen an orc or goblin.

You have no idea what your talking about at all, first of all mind I remind you this is warhammer fantasy not warhammer 40k although some things like (The bloody Sun Boyz being based on the Evil Sunz) etc will be taken from the other continuity it doesn't mean you can make some stupid ideas on how orcs grow.

If anything there are many theories even in warhammer 40k about orcs, such as snotlings came first and created orcs (at the time snotlings were called Brain Boyz) or the theory that snotlings grow up to be goblins (Never orcs though...)

So your reasoning is unethical as the world of warhammer is based from different theories, no one really knows the true origins of orcs even in 40k, although in WAR it seems that orcs do come from spores like there 40k counterparts there is still no evidence whatsoever that snotlings grow into orcs.

If anything snotlings would grow to goblins because they looks somewhat similar but never to orcs they are just physically to different. Also grom isn't fat because he's growing into an orc its because he ate troll flesh and its now regenerating into his stomach (which is why he is always so angry).

Are any worshippers of Chaos ok, or if you aren't a "human" follower you are on the list? Does the Archaeon play golf with the Witch king or would they love nothing more then to put eachother on a pike?

i can guarentee all three destruction races plan to kill eachother once they run out of direct enemies from the order side.

its the normal chaos, orc and dark elf way.

You can't play as Snotlings, alas. But there are little Snotling npcs in the starting Dwarf zones, accompanied by a Gobbo or two. I recall two videos with Yellow Snotlings. . .

As I recall from a 40K writting, the 40K snotlings were used more as slaves and workers for the Orcs etc on the move. Occasionally used as snacks too :eek:

MY memory is a bit fuzzy but i believe, that if you look at the rulebook included in The Battle for Skull Pass (the WH starter boxed set) it has a passage that says orcs grow from spores or fungus. It might have been in the new rulebook but i can't find it in my copy.
