Some questions now that NDA is lifted..

Just some random stuff. Thank you in advance..

1. For PvE, how do we kill mobs. meaning, is it via spell damage and self healing? Do we use melee at all?

2. Grouped for RvR, I wanted a class that was more classic in the sense that I could stand back and heal. I don't play well as an up front fighter type. That is why Warrior Priest is not my cup of tea. The Archmage is an elf, so that is out ;) Do I have to be melee'ing to heal as a Rune Priest?

3. I would assume we provide very little dps, but can we still solo pve if needed?

4. How important our the buffs we give? ie in DAoC, you did not fight without a class that could buff you (be that a shaman, ench cleric etc). So are buffs big in War or just something that is nice but don't have to have.

5. I was hoping for a less popular class to play. Are there tons of RP running around?

1. the rune priest uses spells, casting magic...to both do damage and heal, while his damage is no where on par with...lets say...the bright wizard...you will be more than efficient in PvE...when your out doing some PvE...you can target yourself as your defensive target...and any enemy as your offensive.(dual targeting) and while your casting spells, you may also spam heals on your self inbetween. The Rune priest is very capable of PvE. Though, melee is not of importance, you will be focusing on spells.

2. If your looking for a healbot...this is as close as you will get, there is no mechanic for this cast...just heal and do damage as you wish. You will defenatly be in the back.

3.yes, again.

4.Our buffs are, i would say unique...they can be very helpfull. Though i would not say a person would be unable to fight without them. They would just have an advantage with them.

5. Well you will have to understand that with the mass number of players, there will be a large quantity of Rune Priests...but on comparison...i think it would be safe to say that you would be unique...compared to the qauntity of other classes.

I think I am going rune priest then. I was a rejuv/enchan cleric in DAoC and loved my time playing that spec.

Seems like the RP will be very close to that here in War..
