In search of background for a regiment name.

Hi all,

Well I did not post this in the RP section since, IMO, it does not belong there.

I was leader of a guild in WoW and it was cold the Fast Food Mercenaries. However due to some events it was dissolved along the way.

Since War will surely let small groups / raids be effective either in PvP or PvE, I was thinking of rebuilding it from nearly scratch with some ol' timer of the guild. We used to play Horde in WoW and I pretty hope we are going to stick to the 'evil' side of MMORPGs.

Though, Mercenaries can be found in the Empire or in the Dwarfs populace, a Mercenarie title would be hard to justify in the destruction side since they just are all here to fight and fight some more not caring about foes or allies. As for the greenskins they just join the Waagh in hope of more killing.

So the question would be:

How could a guild leader justify the mercenarie title of his guild with most of the guild being greenskin? If it cannot be justified, what would be the nearest kind of name available ? ( Tribe / Clan / ... )

As for the fast food thingy, Dwarfs just love to eat (and if we play order it will be dwarfs) and drink ^^ And regarding Destruction, I pretty hope they like Order roasted in a big fire :)

If anyone could help in finding the 'credential' or an equivalent to a Mercenarie in greenskin lore it would be a great help

Well Orcs are actually in the dogs of war , So there does seem to be mercenary Orc units.

Though I think they'd join an army for the kills , not the coin as orc money is tuffs ( teeth). In other words - " If you join us , you get to do lots of killin'!"

That's the only mercenary regiment for orcs at the moment. Although, I guess you could call your "regiment" something like "Da Fast Food Ladz". Orcs and gobbos also love a nice meal. Even if that meal is composed out of each others' flesh.

there is another couple of greenskin DOW's
Oglah Khan's Wolfboyz (hobgoblins riding wolves)
Also Ghazak Khan 'terror of the east' who is a nasty orc who often leads bands of DOW's

All in all the lore supports all the races mentioned in the destruction side as being willing to work for cash (or a good fight)
