Yup that's right just got the new big gaming book and under a section named - " The young races" it says - " At some point , the orcs arrived. quite probably their insidious spores were unwittingly introduced to the world by the star vessels of the old ones , although possibly they drifted through the voids of space and came to the world by their own means.
That means when they say - " Fungus from space!" They mean it.

I like that they went along with the sentient fungus idea from the 40K codex. Makes us greenies all that more special. And now I have canon reference for my WHFB army, joy!
I am terrifed that Mythic devs will end up giving into the variety for varities sake and make female Orks and Goblins for WAR. I keep reading about people being upset because Dwarfs have "8 character choices while Greenskins only have 4". Bah!

I'm sorry, but how does this proof anything?

Well it dosn't unless you want to ignore the evidence.
No female orcs in this version , game dev calling orcs space fungus , Official codex suggesting they came to earth by spores . Unless you can imagine actaul orcs.. drifting through space .
I guess you could go along with the empire scholars idea that goblins are smaller orcs , and even trolls are a type of orc . Though that dosn't really fit for me .
But anyway each to their own but it seems kinda obvious to me.
I don't know why anyone would be against the idea to be perfectly honest , it's pretty good and fits in with orcs making them inhuman killing machines who have no real understanding of human emotion.

It's only a tiny bit , though the books got alot of indepth lore in .
I don't think they've yet made an official statement on orc reproduction yet , i guess they still want us killing each other over it = D
