Request: Rune Priest videos.

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if any of the Beta testers playing a Rune Priest could get some footage of the RP in Action for a decent amount of time. :)

Only reason i ask this is becuase i cant find many vids on the RP at the moment.

That guy is pretty good.

He throws out a lot of damage and buffs while healing. It makes the class looks super fun.

I am uploading a video now in the tier 1 scenario where I finished 5th in healing with just under 4k and second in damage ( short by like 200 ) where I did around 13k. Typically, and most of my guild can confirm this, our Runepriests tend to do just as you said, finish with around 8k damage and 8k healing.

Here is a little tidbit on the video so you know what I am doing before actually seeing it. I went in ungrouped and left the party I was in. I did not want my allies to see my health or be able to buff or protect me. I also wanted to make it just slightly harder on myself to heal people since I was running this test at the request of somebody asking me to do only damage and see what the RP can do. I tried to do very little healing and I believe I only cast the heal over time spell and that was it. I didn't use my giant heal or anything. I finished second on the DPS chart only to a Sorcerer. He beat me out by something like 203 damage. I finished 5th in healing with just shy of 4k and I was 5 out of 15 people who healed during this. It was not bad at all. I was a part of 16 kills and I had 5 killing blows. Only the Sorc had more killing blows than I did and just by 1 more. I also did not die during this event and the entire Scenario is recorded from start to finish with no edits.

It is just a small clip where I take on 4 or 5 birds all 2-3 levels below me by pulling them with rune of immolation, activating my rune which is an AoE dot from using Rune of Warding, and then casting my AoE spell. I love with about half health. The point of the video is to show that a group of Runepriest can get together and AoE down PQs for influence, experience, loot, the bonuses for completing PQs which is more loot, more influence, and more experience! Head on over to the Runepriest forums here we broke down mastery paths, spells, situations, and that is where I am taking more ideas for more videos!
