this is just a random little thought that has just this second poped into my head but........

what would you guys think about Squig herders being able to give away mini squigs as pets? this may just be a totally dumb idea and pointless but i dont know i think its kinda cute. your my buddy and i wanna give you a present......heres a squig! :D it could maybe bite you on the or something. just a little extra bit of content.

dont flame me. i love squigs.

So, a fluff pet (one that doesn't do anything, just follows character around) like WoW's cats and other assorted animals?
DAoC also has a kitten and a puppy, I believe.

If a Greenskin were to have a "pet", a squig is pretty much the only pet they would have.

Squig breeding should be a squig-herder only ability.

Squig breeding

-Create a passive squig then buy items to turn it into a different type of squig
-Over 50 types of squigs in different shapes,colors, and sizes
-If given to a order player he can use it but it'll bite him now and then

Best profession ever

I want to make my squigs follow other people. Not give my squig to them, just have them jumping around right behind them all day.

Are not, squigs are just animals. These guys are nothing less than brilliant (except perhaps the guys on the front :mrgreen: ).

Ever see on of those murloc plushies that WoW has? I bet if you ript the arms off and mabye dipped it into some paint it would look like a squig. Not to mention you will have attained it in a very Orc fashion....

youre thinking like Chao's in Sonic Adventure. i carried around those little things in my memory card all day! they were so sick. i remember spending just as much time taking care of my chao with freinds then actully playing sonic adventure.

Now that you mention it, Domo-kun really does remind me of a squig.( Especially around the mouth area ;) ) If squigs were real, my dream job would be a squig farmer. Heck, if they were real, there would be a squig olympics!
Damn reality and its lack of highly entertaining fungus!

I know it's a 40k ork, but squigs are pretty much the same in both setings (apart from advanced 40k evolved forms like squiggoths and orkeosauruses...). I have to agree though that Snotlings would also be cool for Orc characters. After all, Ogres use Gnoblars (largest goblin breed) as pets, so I can see snotlings being used by Orcs as sidekicks :D.
