Children of Naggaroth

"We shall strike down our foes with sharp steel and cold hearts. The weak die so that the strong prevail and none shall be spared. Then and only then will our enemies know the true meaning of fear." ~ Malekith, The Witch King of Naggaroth

For centuries we have known war while others have known weakness. We are the Druchii. We are the children of Naggaroth. As our great king plots the conquest of our ancient homeland we steel our convictions and ready our minds - we will take what is ours, and we will bring terror to those who dare oppose us; however, the time is soon, not yet.

Our fleet, greatest in the world, prepares for war. Great calls for raids and slaves to fuel the furnaces and work the forges have spread across Naggaroth. Now, in Clar Karond, the port of our navy, highborn nobles and lowly warriors meet; it is here, from Clar Karond, that we will lash out at our enemies.

Slaaneshi-worshippers and the followers of Khaine have put aside their differences, their mutual hatred for the Asur betrayers outweighing their hate for each other. The black arks await, and our warriors lust for murder. Now is the time for the Druchii. Now is the time for the children of Naggaroth.

Charter of the Children of Naggaroth

We are a Dark Elven guild based out of the port city of Clar Karond and with several smaller safe houses in the Old World; however, with conflicts rising in the wake of the Storm of Chaos Druchii from across Naggaroth have congregated to the port. Warriors and corsairs intermingle while nobles and highborn Druchii draw Shades from the Blackspine Mountains and Executioners from Har Ganeth to their cause. The sorcerous covens have offered their services to aspiring Druchii. Conflicts occasionally flicker into life between the followers of Khaine and the worshippers of Slaanesh, but the enterprising nobles of the Children of Naggaroth have set aside their differences to bolster their ranks. Followers of both gods share these common goals:

To do whatever they can to reclaim their ancient homeland. The Children of Naggaroth will follow Malekith to reclaim what is rightfully theirs when the time is right.

To hurt and hinder their Asur cousins whenever possible. The Children of Naggaroth have spies in the Old World who follow the causes of the High Elves, work to sabotage them, and relay information to their kin in the Land of Chill.

To sow the seeds of chaos and dissolution throughout the Old World. Chaos is merely a tool to create confusion, distrust, and weakness. If the Empire of men is weak then they will be susceptible to attack, and if they are attacked, the High Elves will come to their assistance, leaving Ulthuan defenseless.

To raid the world for the supplies and slaves we need. The Druchii forges require workers and raw materials to create the weapons and armor they require, and the Old World is full of both; indeed, the lesser races are nothing more than tools, crafts, and goods to be used and disposed of when they are no longer useful.

To search the far corners of the world for artifacts of power and to retrieve them. Many ancient artifacts of immense power and impressive magical relics lie buried in the bowels of history and the long-forgotten past, and the Children of Naggaroth wish to exploit their potential for their own purposes.

To sate the personal ambitions of its members. The Children of Naggaroth, whether common warriors or highborn knights have their own ambitions and their own personal goals. The leaders of the Children of Naggaroth know that to maintain control they must occasionally indulge in other concerns, which is why they allow and assist their members in completing whatever personal goals they have. Whether a sorceress who wants a magical tome or a warrior with dreams of grandeur, the Children of Naggaroth have their own desires, and they will occasionally work together towards completing them.

To serve the Witch King.

To have fun!

Joining the Children of Naggaroth

The Children of Naggaroth are a Dark Elf only guild. Dark Elves may only worship Khaine or Slaanesh, no other gods. Additionally, member-characters may not be from the Cold One Knights (for the moment) and Black Guard. All applicants will undergo an initial trial period, in which one of the Fathers will design a Trial RP for them. There is not a set length for this trial; rather, it will continue until the member's ability to RP their Druchii character is apparent - this may only be a matter of a few posts, or it may entail several; if the trial member is accepted as a full member they may choose to continue the trial RP or join in any currently-open Guild RPs. Other than that, though, there are no additional rules for joining. Just post a standard character sheet if you’re interested. For an example of what to include in a character sheet, see below:

Name:
Gender:
Age (actual and apparent):
God Worshipped:
Profession (Executioner, Shade, Warrior, Corsair, Knight, Noble without a house):
Appearance:
Weapons:
Clothing/Armor:
Mental Description:
History (brief or long):
Skills:
Steed:
Goals (short-term and/or long-term):
Joining As (i.e. Reaver or just a normal Corsair):

This is just an example format, not necessarily the format you must follow when making a character sheet. What is important is that you cover the basics so that the others in the guild can easily interact with your character without having to guess and hope they got it correct as much as it is to make RPing run smoothly.

Applicants will be viewed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Laws

These laws apply to all members, including the leaders , and if broken one of the leaders with power over that crime takes responsibility over the punishment.

Do not murder other members unless you are actively defending yourself from a life-threatening attack.

Do not steal from other members, or break/ruin their equipment or possessions.

Do not cause a member to come to harm, either directly or indirectly, knowingly.

Treat the guildhouse and safehouses with respect. Do not bring in any item or person that would be likely to cause harm to the furnishings or fittings of either the guildhouse or the safehouses. Do not directly harm either the guildhouse or the safehouses or their furnishings. Damage, accidental or not, is to be paid for by the perpetrator.

Powers and Responsibilities of the Fathers of Naggaroth, Noble, and Group Leaders (Bloodshade, Draich-master, Reaver, Lordling, Herald, Beastmaster)

Powers: The leaders of the Children of Naggaroth have the authority to command a member in the section indicated underneath their leadership out of the heat of battle and within it. This is restricted to the assigning of tasks during missions, battle tactics, and other guild based activities. The leaders cannot order a member to do anything in their personal, out-of-guild activities, unless it has a direct effect on other members of the guild or a guild mission.

The Fathers of Naggaroth can agree on alliances, NAPs, and conflicts with other guilds. Additionally, the Fathers of Naggaroth are the only ones who may make changes to the guild Charter.

Conflicts between members of the same section (for example, between two shades) are resolved by their corresponding group leader (in this instance, the Bloodshade would resolve the conflict).

Conflicts between two different sections (for example, between a shade and an executioner) are resolved by the noble.

Conflicts between a member from one section and an assassin or sorceress, or indeed, conflicts between assassins and sorceress are resolved by the Fathers of Naggaroth. Additionally, conflicts between worshippers of Slaanesh and followers of Khaine are dealt with harshly by the Fathers of Naggaroth. If, for any reason, a group leader or the noble is unable to quickly resolve a conflict then the Fathers of Naggaroth may deign to resolve it.

Minor crimes like fraud and petty theft between guild members are often resolved by a verbal judgment. Major crimes, like serious theft, destruction of property, and physical harm are often resolved in ritualistic dueling. Killing an opponent is frowned upon (duels resulting in the opponent’s death will almost never win). In the case of theft resulting in a ritualistic duel, the resolution is easily determined: to the victor go the spoils. Ritualistic duels over physical harm are an exchange of honor; ritualistic duels over destroyed property determine whether compensation is owed. Punishment may often include an exchange of weapons, armor, property (including slaves), and an exchange of wealth. Crimes which needlessly threaten the life of another guildmember may result in eviction from the guild.

Any member may notify the appropriate authority of an alleged crime and request that it be resolved.

The leaders may also make general decisions about the day to day running of the guild, such as finding new members somewhere to sleep, arranging meetings for their group or the guild as a whole, and so on.

The Fathers of Naggaroth have power over all members, including other leaders. The Noble has command over the Group Leaders. The Group Leaders have power over their group.

Responsibilities: The leaders of the Children of Naggaroth are charged with the safety of the members, as insofar as that is possible, and the realization of both their and the leaders’ goals. They are responsible for organizing missions to attain said goals, and picking suitable companions for the mission to aid the effort. They are required to explain orders upon questioning by a member beneath their control, but may only be disobeyed if an order is/they are found to be insane or suicidal.

The Fathers of Naggaroth are responsible for keeping the peace between members and solving disputes, arguments, and fights. Additionally, the Fathers of Naggaroth are responsible for diplomacy between the guild, other guilds and establishments, both within Naggaroth and abroad. The Fathers must also keep an accurate list of safehouses in the Old World, allies, and sworn enemies.

The Noble is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the guildhouse, and all general equipment available to the guild as a whole therein. The Noble is also responsible for keeping a copy of the Charter available for viewing at all times, as well as an updated roster of members and their current goals.

The Draich-master is responsible for making sure that all members know some self-defense, and in helping members who desire to learn more about warfare how to do so.

The Bloodshade is responsible for keeping the guild aware of any threats or unseen consequences that have appeared with the intent on wishing the guild harm.

The Lordling is responsible for making sure all members know how to survive in Clar Karond. Additionally, the Lordling is in charge of any slaves the guild owns.

The Reaver is responsible for maintaining any ships or skiffs that the Children of Naggaroth make use of. Additionally, the Reaver is responsible for teaching all members of the guild how to swim, how to fight in a boarding action, and how to conduct raids from sea. The reaver is also responsible for navigating.

The Beastmaster is responsible for taking care of any creatures the guild may possess, whether steeds or more ferocious creatures like cold ones and war hydras. Additionally, the Beastmaster is tasked with making the other members aware of dangers in the wild and how to survive outdoors.

The Herald is responsible for maintaining the guild security and for teaching members who wish to learn how to ride a steed.

The sorceroresses, witch elf, and assassins fall under the direct control of the Fathers of Naggaroth, albeit they are otherwise autonomomous from the other members of the guild and free from their jurisdiction.

The Assassins are responsible for eliminating threats to the Children of Naggaroth without notice.

The Witch Elf is responsible for maintaining the purity of conviction amidst the followers of Khaine, and that those tainted by Slaanesh do not became frail because of their chosen deity.

The Sorceress is responsible for assisting the Children of Naggaroth through the arcane Dark Arts and mystic lores of the winds of magic.

Layout of the Guildhouse

The guildhouse is a large spire surrounded by a large wall, which is roughly fifty meters away from the base of the spire; training grounds, stables, courtyards, and gardens dot the area between the wall and spire. The entire structure is constructed out of black ore from the mountains and volcanic rock. The first floor is connected to the outside by an antechamber. Running the circumference of the spire are slave quarters, and a mess area where they are eat scraps of food dropped from above, once to twice a day, depending on the noble’s mood. The antechamber also opens into a second antechamber where two half-spiral staircases lead to the second floor. The second antechamber leads directly to a forge, which serves to both construct, repair, and replace armor and weapons as well as to heat the entire spire. This typically makes the first floor painfully warm.

The half-spiral stairs lead up to a large communal dining area on the second floor, which is where the warriors, executioners, shades (if they choose), corsairs (if they choose), dark riders, apprentice handlers eat their meals. Arched doors across the room lead to the rooms where the Druchii live and sleep. At the north of the communal dining area is a room where scraps of food can be dropped to land below in the slaves’ mess area. At the south end of the communal dining room are two more half-spiral stairs, which lead to an antechamber on the third floor. The antechamber leads to a regal dining area, which splits into three different rooms: the assassins reside within one room, the sorceresses in another, and the noble in the third.

Two stairs climb up the circumference of the regal dining area, leading to a grandiose antechamber which opens into a large throne room. Two thrones, one gold and the other black dominate the room. Two arched passages lead to the spacious and luxurious rooms that belong to the Fathers of Naggaroth. Only the noble, sorceresses, assassins, and chamber slaves are allowed onto the fourth floor without an invitation.

I'm somewhat torn between joining as an assassin or a sorceress. I have two other assassin characters in other guilds but I donn't currently have the knowledge of what magic a sorceress has let alone any possible magical items.

Aelly, if you need information on Dark Elf Sorceresses, I'd be glad to help. Anything specific you want to know?

And on another note...my char sheet:

Name: Akerith Kelathon

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 367

Apparent Age: 28

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Druchii Highborn, Head of House Kelathon, and Father of Naggaroth

Appearance: Slightly taller than the average Elf, Akerith is perpetually looking down at common Druchii. His skin is fair and unblemished by decay or disease. A single scar across his right cheek is the only distinguishing feature on his face besides his sharply-angled nose and his piercing violet eyes. His hair is jet black and tied back in a warrior knot. He has a relatively light build, albeit his entire body is well-muscled.

He carries double swords as a sign of nobility, each held in overly ornate scabbards to demonstrate his wealth. One of the blades is primarily for ceremony and show, although it’s kept sharp in case Akerith needs to use it; his other sword, however, is magically enchanted to slice through flesh and bone with ease, and it is his primary weapon in melee combat. Occasionally he carries a repeater crossbow with poison-coated bolts designed to paralyze the enemy, although he is more likely to use it in small raids and while walking the streets of Clar Karond than when he is in heated battle.

He wears regal-looking heavy armor over a light, flowing khaitan. When preparing for battle, he is dressed by two warrior-squires. They move in well-practiced sequence, first, strapping on the leg harness and attaching it at the top to an underbelt, then lacing the rere brace in position. Then they place a dalakoi – a padded aketon with mail sleeves and a long mail skirt – over his khaitan. The process continues as the squires lace the back and breast plate over his upper torso with laminate strips for increased flexibility. They add a gorget and lace the pauldrons to the breastplate through the gorget. Long gloves with armored hands are laced tightly to the forearm, and vambraces are fitted over them, each adorned with two fighting spines. Akerith usually only wears his helmet when raiding and pillage, preferring maximum visibility in the often treacherous arena of daily life in Naggaroth. When he wears a helmet it is without a visor; instead, he wears a fine black cloth, which covers his nose and mouth. A series of crossbelts and harnesses hold the scabbards for his two swords and a myriad assortment of small dirks and daggers. The laces from his armor are decorated with runic flesh hooks at the ends, which represent his allegiance to Malekith, Khaine, House Kelathon, and the Children of Naggaroth as well as his connection to the city of Clar Karond. His shield is dark violet, like his eyes, and it has a sharp, re-curved tip, allowing it to be used as a weapon. Over his dark blue armor, Akerith wears a sea-dragon cloak with shadow grey scales.

Mental Description: Akerith is calculating, cunning, and ruthless, like most Druchii. His most noticeable personality trait is his often sardonic, often satiric demeanor. He is also prone towards sometimes rapid changes in demeanor from bleak bitterness and hatred to bemused joviality and quick-witted rhetoric; often times these are mere façades, albeit, sometimes they are reactions to unbridled emotion. No matter what, Akerith is willing to sacrifice others for his own cause and ambition; indeed, he thrives off the suffering and pain of others. He often appears to do things on a whim, although in reality every action he takes is well-thought out. Although the other Father of Naggaroth, Nuirathil Aleanlylth, worships Slaanesh, Akerith doesn’t view him as a heretic; rather, he views him with a mixture of suspicion, admiration, and distrust, but also as a means to expanding his already strong base of power within Clar Karond and expanding it throughout all of Naggaroth. Akerith’s first loyalty is to himself, even overriding his loyalty to Malekith and Khaine, and it’s why he has survived and prospered for so long.

History: Akerith was born in Clar Karond, the third son to Tanyr Kelathon. At an early age, Akerith was trained in warfare as well as educated in the histories and lore of his people. When he was young he lived in his father’s vast estates in the Black Forests east of the city. As a child he enjoyed watching his father’s slaves, all from the lesser races, toil while the guards pushed and prodded them; it was a visual demonstration of the natural order of things – Druchii were at the top of that natural order, and Highborn nobles like Akerith and his father were at the top of Druchii society, just beneath the Witch King.

One day, Akerith was out with the warriors his father had ordered to train him, and he saw a slave running off. He asked one of the trainers for their repeater crossbow, turned towards the fleeing filth, and – without a second thought – shot at him. The bolt missed the slave’s torso, but it managed to hit the slave’s leg, and the poison-tipped bolt paralyzed the human. Akerith strode towards the slave and smirked at him, amused at his abject terror, terror at a mere Druchii youth. After killing him, Akerith took the slave’s head as a trophy to show his father when he returned to Clar Karond. Before he was a century old, Akerith was an experienced killer who had killed both helpless slaves, and those armed as gladiator combatants to test his mettle. He quickly started hunts through the streets of Clar Karond with other young nobles, seeking out the meek and disenfranchised fools who cluttered the port city and mimicking the Death Night.

After coming of age, Akerith fell into a subordinate role to his elder brothers, Vanyr and Katyr. Akerith assassinated Katyr, the eldest yet most naïve, with small doses of poison carefully hidden within his food. Although the results were slow, Akerith was willing to wait – after all, as the third child he was entitled to plenty of leisure time, just few of the assets of his House. With his eldest son unexplainably deceased, Tanyr began grooming his second-eldest son, Vanyr, to succeed him as head of house. Meanwhile, distrustful of Akerith, he gave his youngest son a meager amount of wealth to find his place in the world.

Akerith became a reaver captain in the port city, joining the fleet to raid abroad, and amassing increased wealth as time went by. After pillaging the Old World, Akerith made a growing name for himself. His renown as a skilled reaver who could avoid detection on the seas and sneak into heavily defended harbors eventually led to many nobles hiring him to capture and kill specific targets for some reason or another. Sometimes he was tasked with delivering assassins and shades to the Old World, other times with collecting information and conveying it back to Naggaroth; however, one noble crossed him, and refused to pay merely because the information he’d paid for wasn’t what he wanted to hear.

Akerith used his connections to demand a ritualistic duel to the death at Malekith’s court between himself and the noble who had crossed him; he won, and with his victory he gained control of the noble’s assets. It was a beginning, and with cold efficiency Akerith quickly rose up in the world.

At the age of two-hundred years old, he learned that one of the nobles he had been closely associated with in the past, Ilith Nor, had disappeared. All of Ilith’s soldiers were dead, all of his assets were destroyed, and he had been branded a traitor. Akerith was uneasy about his old associate’s disappearance because death and disappearance were common symptoms borne by associates to traitors. Soon after Ilith’s disappearance, Akerith was tasked by Malekith to accept the assistance of the Druchii assassin Rekur Tyrinn. Understanding that the Rekur was really watching him as much as he was helping him, Akerith used the Druchii assassin to eliminate several key enemies to increase his own position.

As he neared the age of two-hundred and fifteen he learned of his father’s death and immediately suspected that his eldest brother was behind it. Vanyr consolidated their father’s resources. Akerith used Rekur to spy on his brother, and the reports he received were distressing – his brother was squandering their father’s resources and consorting with human females, apparently not caring for an heir or his dignity. Akerith used Rekur to assassinate his brother and finally claim control of House Kelathon. As the years passed by, and Ilith Nor was forgotten by history, suspicion lifted from Akerith, and Rekur was recalled to perform the Witch King's bidding, continuing his craft as a living altar to Khaine somewhere else. Akerith used the time to increase the strength of House Kelathon within Clar Karond and the surrounding areas. During the Storm of Chaos, Akerith met a Slaaneshi-worshipping Druchii named Nuirathil Aleanlylth while in Lustria, and he sensed another opportunity to further his own ambitions, and together Akerith Kelathon and Nuirathil Aleanlylth formed the Children of Naggaroth.

Skills: Akerith is skilled with the use of a repeater crossbow, dual-wielding daggers and short blades, and fighting with sword and shield. He is experienced in both hunting, murder in the streets, raiding, pillaging, kidnapping, sailing, and swimming. He fits well into the complicated web of Druchii politics; he is a charismatic speaker who has no qualms with murder, let alone lying.

Steed: While Akerith could requisition most any steed he wants, he hasn’t ridden in over two centuries.

Goals: Keeping the Children of Naggaroth under control by helping them to achieve their goals. Expanding his powerbase across Naggaroth, retrieving magical artifacts of great power, and eventually becoming a new advisor and right hand to Malekith, replacing the old Highborn survivors from Nagarythe. Eventually returning to Nagarythe and conquering Ulthuan.

Joining As: Father of Naggaroth

A nice site to visit for Druchii-related info is the site www.druchii.net, or more specifically, here (http://www.druchii.net/cop/articlelist.html).

Anyway, heeeere's Nuirathil!

Name: Nuirathil Aleanlylth

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 246

Apparent Age: 24

God Worshipped: Slaanesh

Profession: Warrior and former Ellyrian noble, son of Therais Aleanlylth, Warden of Tor Elyr

Appearance: Nuirathil is powerfully built for an elf, standing at 6’4” with relatively broad shoulders. Unlike most Druchii, his skin is lightly tanned, though neither scar nor blemish can be seen on his face. His long, luxurious black hair falls slightly passed his shoulders and frames a dangerous yet extremely handsome face. His refined features are as delicate as a maid’s, though his dark, penetrating gaze and cruel mouth are far from feminine. Muscled like a maiden’s fantasy, Nuirathil is a fine specimen of elvenkind.

Almost always sheathed across Nuirathil’s back is a beautifully crafted draich, its long, curved blade covered in runes and sharp enough to cut a fully armored opponent in half. At his sides are sheathed a variety of knives and daggers, all suited for different tasks, whether it be punching through a weak point in an opponent’s armor or carving out the heart of a sacrificial slave.

Typically Nuirathil wears fine silken robes of black and deep purple, as well as heavy black boots. However, when in battle, Nuirathil’s attire is much different. Over his khaitan and dalakoi he is clad in plate and mail from neck to foot, the shiny metal blackened as dark as pitch. Unlike most traditional Druchii, Nuirathil’s armor is not adorned with ornate fleshooks or barbs, but is instead smooth and it joints are rounded, the armor fitting his form so his powerful physique is displayed while still providing excellent protection. Nuirathil wears no helm in battle, as he prefers being able to look into his opponent’s eyes as he slides his draich in between his ribs and feel his hot blood bathe his laughing face.

Mental Description: Possessing a normally cool demeanor and a silver tongue, Nuirathil is a master of the arts of seduction and persuasion. However, when something truly irritates him, he is known to have a short temper and even less mercy towards those who have offended him. In battle, he is a merciless demon, laughing as he happily disembowels and mutilates his enemies, reveling in the violent bloodshed and relishing the sweet taste of blood upon his lips.

Both charismatic and intelligent, elves have and would die for him, though Nuirathil never grieves over the death of a follower. To call him arrogant would be an understatement, though he hides it well. All others are nothing more than pawns to be used in his pursuit of power and fulfillments of his own desires, and like elderly livestock they are to be disposed of when they no longer serve a purpose.

Nuirathil sensed an opportunity when he met Akerith, as the Khainite happened to not possess the same burning hatred for the Cult of Pleasure as his ilk most typically did. This however does not mean he treats the other elf as if he were a friend. He is just yet another stepping stone towards more power, and while he will remain friendly and cordial towards his now equal, it is only a matter of time before he is to be disposed of once his purpose has been served.

History: Born the second son of one of the most powerful noble houses in Ulthuan, let alone Ellyrion, Nuirathil was destined for great things. His elder brother was betrothed to the High Prince’s only child, leaving him the title of heir to Tor Elyr, while his younger brother was to become a famed cavalry commander.

Unfortunately, this was not to be.

Called to battle a Druchii incursion in the Annuli Mountains, Nuirathil rode to battle in a hastily raised army to combat their dark cousins. However, the battle was a complete slaughter, and of the hundreds of Asur who rode to battle, only a handful survived. Nuirathil was knocked unconscious during the course of the battle, and when he awoke he found himself on a Black Ark headed for Naggarond. He was to be tortured and eventually executed at the leisure of the Druchii Lord who had won the day, but somehow he was convinced to give his prize over to a sorceress instead.

Housed with dozens of other slaves in her estate, Nuirathil was made to fight other slaves in gladiatorial combat and, when the lady wished it, see to her pleasures. She was a devout follower of Slaanesh, and there was no better pet than a captured High Elven noble, especially one of such prestige.

He was a slave for several years, and for the first few he devoutly prayed to Asuryan for guidance, Khaine for strength for his rescuers when they eventually came to his aid, and to Isha for mercy and forgiveness. Help did not come, and Nuirathil’s prayers were left unanswered. Slowly but surely, he began to become bitter, cursing his family for abandoning him in Naggaroth to die in a depraved dark elf’s pleasure house and doubting the true power of the gods he had worshipped for the entirety of his life.

It was not much longer until he realized which god was truly powerful here. He began praying to Slaanesh, and whole-heartedly took part in his mistresses’ rituals. The proud son of Ulthuan had become, a dark, twisted follower of Slaanesh. He thirsted for both power and freedom, and it was not long until he began to think of escape.

With his amazing charisma, Nuirathil organized a prisoner revolt, and thanks to overwhelming numbers, killed every free elf in the house. Nuirathil personally took the sorceress’ favored bodyguard’s equipment as his own before making his way out into the city, for the first time seeing the sprawling metropolis of Naggarond in all its glory. He did not stay long, as soon the sorceress’ allies began to wonder why she was no longer in contact, and Nuirathil knew he needed to leave the city before they found him.

What followed was several years a freelance warrior, eventually joining a corsair’s crew and sailing to Lustria to take part in the great raid on the jungle continent. Here he met Akerith, and it did not take long for them to decide they should form their own group to further their own goals. Clar Karond became his new home, and even now he continues to thirst for power and schemes to flay each of his former family members alive.

Skills: Unnaturally graceful, even for an elf, Nuirathil possesses a silver tongue and a quick mind. He will do anything that is needed as long as that means his own personal desires are fulfilled.

Nuirathil speaks both fluent Eltharin and the perverted tongue of his new people, and is knowledgeable in all things a noble should know, such as politics, tactics, and intrigue. In addition, Nuirathil is one of the finest warriors in Clar Karond, and many elves are wary of his draich.

Steed: Nuirathil rides a steed only when deemed necessary. Horses remind him of his past, as Ellyrion is famed for both its horses and cavalry.

Goals: Achieving as much power and influence as possible in his lifetime, as well as fulfill his vengeance against the family that left him and the heretical fools that inhabit his ancestral homeland.

Joining As: Father of Naggaroth.

Both of the Fathers look very impressive. I'm not sure my character will be as impressive but I'll try.

Congratulations on establishing a well-organised guild for Dark Elf enthusiasts!

I was about to make an attempt myself, but I see you've done most of the work for me. I like the slight mirror with CoA as well. Remember to oppose their pompous abbreviated name with an equally haughty CoN yourself.

Problem is, my character, Sindrae-Rulu, is a Witch Elf. Would you mind giving me your reasoning behind why you're not letting them in? Just to sate my curiosity. I always figured the Brides of Khaine were sort of Naggaroth's equivalent of the Empire's Warrior-Priests. As Khaine is the dominant religion of the Land of Chill, surely you'd want religious enforcement within your group? The followers of the Pleasure God seem to have a slight advantage with the sorceresses and nobility, opposing the assassins. 2 on 1? Come now... 8) Also, I think there's a chance that the Witch Elf will be a playable career, reading this particular part of the latest newsletter:

The Witch King commands that every forge and furnace in the realm be brought to bear in the crafting of weapons, armor and siege machines. The Beastmasters of Karond Kar are ordered to select the strongest and most ferocious creatures in their pens and ready them for battle. The fierce Witch Elves of Khaine prepare for bloody sacrifice to the Lord of Murder. Morathi, the Hag Queen, summons forth the most powerful Sorceresses from the Convents and trains them to lead the armies of the Dark Elves. As his people prepare for the coming war, Malekith draws up his plans against the Dwarfs.

Anyway, even if I can't get into the guild, I'm impressed with both the Fathers' profiles and think you'd be excellent judges on Sindrae-Rulu's character profile, which so far, has been completely ignored.

It's here: http://www.warhammeralliance.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=7192&sid=f263b507dc70c4c14f488acfc9efe050#7192

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with the guild.

My reasoning for not allowing Witch Elves was slightly weak, I suppose, albeit there were two main reasons: Witch Elves are brides of Khaine, and it seems like they'd have a hard time keeping calm around the servants of Slaanesh. That said, it's not beyond the realm of possibility or even far-fetched. The second reason was because I wasn't sure how a Witch Elf member of the guild would react during events like the Death Night and Harvest of Souls. An aesthetic concern, and nothing too major, is merely would the Witch Elf stay at the guild house or would she stay at the Temple of Khaine when the guild members are in Clar Karond? Nevertheless, I suppose disallowing Witch Elves was a bit premature. Nasim and I will have a look at your character sheet and come to a decision, hopefully by tomorrow night.

OOC: I still need to make up her history but this it basically my character. Please let me know if I need to change anything.

Name: Kathani Valon

Gender: Female

Age: 184

Apparent: 20

God Worshipped: Slaanesh

Profession: Sorceress

Appearance: Standing 5’9” she looks like most other Druchii with her deathly pale skin and lithe figure though she has a toned look to her. She has long flowing jet black hair that reaches as far down as the back of her thighs. Braided into portions of her hair are a few charms and spikes. Her eyes are a piercing ice blue.

Weapons: A ceremonial knife which is kept it it’s sheath on Kathani’s belt as well as a black staff that has runic inscriptions all the way up and down the shaft. The staff is topped with skull that has two short but razor sharp blades sticking out of the sides.

Clothing/Armor: On her head sits a headdress with a black plate that rises up to a point on the front part of the headdress. The plate is flanked by two long thin black feathers on both sides. In the middle of the plate an evil looking silver skull resides. Around her neck is a choker made from a black leather strip and as a silver buckle in the middle. Charms and even a couple talons dangle from the choker. She wears a Darkstar cloak which covers all of her backside. Woven into the fabric of this khaitan is the essence of a star stolen from the night sky of Nagarythe which is black on the outer portion and deep purple in color on the inner portion. Her khaitan has many runic enchantments inscribed on it in silver. On her upper body she wears a deep purple silky top that resembles a bikini top and has a small circlet which holds together the front portion of her top. Around her waist is a single thin silver chain from which many different charms, runic symbols and even a few flesh hooks hang. Her lower body is covered only in the front and back sides by black silk loincloth that drapes down to her ankles. She also wears black leather boots that extend up to just past her knees. The boots have small spikes dotting them in a simple pattern while a somewhat elongated evil looking silver skull baring it’s teeth has been attached to about where her knees are as well as a smaller skull sits near the lower portion of her shins.

Mental Description: Power hungry yet she has a charm about her which she uses as often as she can to get her way or anything she wants for that matter. She is very cold hearted.

History: Life started out pretty good for Kathani. Daughter to a Druchii noble was a good life. Her father always made sure their house was passed up on Death Night. However, when Kathani was four years old her father failed to sacrifice enough slaves for his house to once again be passed on by the Witch Elves. Knowing this he pleaded with the High Sorceress of Clar Karond to have a spell put upon his house to keep the Witch Elves out. He promised to pay her a vast amount of money to which she agreed. The spell was cast and Death Night went on without a single disturbance.

The next day following the Death Night ceremonies the High Sorceress came for her payment. Kathani’s father refused to pay and stated she was mistaken that he made such a proposal. The High Sorceress did not find this amusing at all. So as payment she magically transported Kathani to the Clar karond Convent where she served the High Sorceress as a slave. This did not last long however. The High Sorceress saw much potential and raw talent within the girl that she began to personally instruct Kathani in the ways of magic. She learned how to focus her power and then how to harness and use the winds of magic to do her bidding.

Eventually Kathani was sent to perform the 12 trials, all of which she passed to become a powerful sorceress in her own right. Though she had accomplished so much the High Sorceress continued to keep Kathani as a pupil as they traveled the lands and encountered many creatures and races. When the High Sorceress thought Kathani was strong enough she sent the young girl to aid the Children of Naggroth so that in turn they would help Kathani, the High Sorceress and the Convents.

Skills: Kathani is a very accomplished sorceress and is very proficient in spells from the dark arts. She has also learned how to make potions of various affects. She is also able to speak and read the tongues of the High and Wood elves as well as basic human. However none of her skills are put to use without a price.

Steed: A Dark Pegasus

Goals: To become the most powerful Sorceress of all time.

Joining As: Sorceress

02-06-2006, 11:27 PM
Name: Kaleth Ilinthwe
Gender: Male
Age: 356 / 25
Religion: Khaine
Profession: Corsair
Appearance:
Though short of stature he makes up for this with quickness and precision. He is a strong elf with stringy black hair to his shoulders. His skin is pale and deep-set, icy blue eyes seem to stare into the soul. On the back of his neck is branded the symbol of Khaine.

Weapons:
Kaleth's main weapon is his sword. It is the traditional sinister looking longsword of his race, the weapon is finely crafted, Dark Elven symbols running down the length of the wicked blade. The crossguard and pommel are a shaded silver color, while the handle is all black. A single purple tassel is tied about the base of the handle. Besides this blade he has two daggers, one strapped to his belt and the other to his leg. One larger than the other, both are well balanced and can be used as projectiles.

Clothing/Armor:
Kaleth wears a deep purple khaitan-like robe, though not as fancy or well made as those that nobles and knights wear it serves his purpose. Under this he wears various layers of black and brown clothing, while over it a breastplate complete with backplate gives his body good protection. Covering his back and giving additional protection is the traditional sea-dragon cloak of all Druchii Corsairs, this particular one being a dark purple, almost black. Metal vambraces protect his arms up to the elbow and sturdy black boots complete the array.

Mental Description:
Quick, precise, deadly. His attacks are swift, calculated, and cold, and this has made him very successful. His mind is a very focused one. He will pick apart a problem piece by piece until the solution is found. His heart and soul are truly black, caring for no-one.

Skills:
Skilled in the general arts of war, he excels at the art of naval warfare. He learned both logistics and navigation at a young age, and has excellent knowledge of naval tactics; as well as military tactics in general. His coastline raids are executed with pinpoint precision, and often conclude before a successful resistance can be brought against him. Skilled with his longsword, he becomes even more of a force when using the longsword/dagger combination.

History (Brief):
Born in a village near the dark waters of the Sea of Chill with salt in his blood, his father was a Corsair, as was his father before him. His life was the sea, and he learned to swim and sail at a young age. His father and brother were called upon to fight by decree of glorious Malekith with the coming of the Chaos invasions. Neither returned, and young Kaleth had nowhere to go. He did what he knew how to do and sailed to Clar Karond, looking to join up with Druchii raiding vessel.

Steed: Kaleth does not require a mount in his line of work.
Goals: He aspires to the most feared Corsair to ever live, and of course to kill or capture as many Asur as possible.
Attempting to Join As: Reaver

Name: Eckelis Nigh (eek-eh-lis n-eye)
Gender: Male
Age (actual and apparent): Actually around 200, looks about 20.
God Worshipped: Khaine
Appearance: His movements are elegant and practiced. It seems, when he is atop his mare, that he was born to ride. Even his black cloak appears to dance with them. Other than slightly silvered hair, he has all the appearances of an average Druchii (height, weight, skin color, etc.)
Weapons: Two daggers, a sword, and a crossbow with bolts.
Clothing/Armor: Since he needs to get around quickly, and sometimes quietly, the rider wears little other than black cotton and soft leather. His riding boots are old and worn. However, when time calls for serious battle he does own a set of hard leather armour for him and his horse.
Mental Description: He has an unfaltering loyalty to the Witch King, as should all Druchii.
History (brief or long): Brief; Grew up in a small village outside of Clar Karond. His family owned a few horses that he spent most of his time riding. When it came his time to fight, the Storm of Chaos was over, which disappointed him greatly. He then heard about a gathering of Druchii and certain conflicts in the Storm’s wake, so made his way into Clar Karond to see what he could do to help the Witch King.
Skills: It is second nature for him to be on his horse, and they have formed quick a bond. Some find it strange that he has never given the mare a name, but then those people find it stranger when she does exactly what he wants without an utterance. Since he spends so much time on his horse he has learned to shoot and fight from her back, but has only been practicing for the last 120 years or so, so he hasn’t perfected it. On foot, he may not be the most impressive fighter, but he does have the martial prowess of his race.
Steed: A black elven horse with no name.
Goals (short-term and/or long-term): Short-term; become the Herald to the Children of Naggaroth. Long-term; Take back the land that is rightfully the Druchii’s.
Joining As: I'd Like the Herald Position within the Dark Riders.

All applicants have been thoroughly reviewed and accepted, so congratulations Aelly Ssyn, Rimner, Estebar, and Snapmaster! Teh Emo and Aeriath, you two still need to post your character sheets. Also, please note the slight change to the charter, which is more an addendum than anything. Basicly the responsibilities of assassins, sorceresses, the witch elf, and the reaver are listed. And witch elves have been taken off of the not-allowed list, although for the moment we will only have 1 Witch Elf for the guild; if interest is voiced at a later date about RPing a witch elf character then this 1 witch elf limit may change. Anywho, again, congratulations to Aelly, Rimner, Estebar, and Snapmaster!

Very interesting. Definitely something to consider...

Hmmmm. I was thinking of starting my own Dark Elf guild, but it looks like this one meets my standards. I'll probably be posting a character sheet later tonight.

EDIT:And here it is!
Name: Vashzren Kensek
Gender: Male
Age: Actual - 257 Apparent - 34
God Worshipped: Khaine
Profession: Executioner
Physical Description: Vashzren stands roughly two meters in height, possessed of toned musculature and broad shoulders. He carries himself with great poise and arrogance, his movements swift and absolute. It would not be a great understatement to say that Vashzren has never seen the sun in his lifetime; a combination of dark attire, nocturnal behavior, and natural complexion have rendered his skin pale and corpse-like. A soft mane of naturally silver hair cascades evenly over his shoulders in times of war, though he has been known to clasp it in a ponytail with a skull-shaped amulet for social functionality.

For times when he must appear presentable, Vashzren chooses to clothe himself in robes of the finest ebon silk, often accented by elvish runes along the hemline. When called to battle, he dons a set of Dark Elven plate mail underneath his Executioner's garb. At all times, he wears an Executioner's cloak of wolf-hide.

Very little of Vashzren's features can be seen, much of his face being obscured both by his hood, and a skull-like mask covering his much of his visage. The mask ends just above his teeth, sharpened by a lifetime of feasting upon the flesh of slain creatures and men. Perhaps the most notable features of Vashzren are his cruel, penetrating eyes.

Weapons: Vashzren carries two weapons with him; the most obvious being the massive double-bladed axe favored by the Executioners, which lays sheathed at his back when not in use. The second weapon Vashzren carries is a draich, his weapon of choice for engaging opponents favoring speed and mobility over brute strength. This weapon, he carries at a sheath at his waist. He carries a general disdain for ranged weapons of any kind, and as such does not carry such items. If it comes down to it, however, he has a minor amount of proficiency with the repeating crossbow.

Mental Description: Aloof and reserved with a typically formal manner, Vashzren speaks only on matters of great importance if and when he speaks at all. First impressions carry heavily with him, and it cannot be said that Vashzren is overly accepting of others. As a trained Executioner, he possesses intimate knowledge of the cycle of life and death, and as such his mentality can often be seen as uncompassionate in many situations, even among his fellow Dark Elves. Vague and enigmatic with all except those he trusts, it is rare to see Vashzren show his emotions, save in times of conflict - during these occasions, he revels in the uninhibited passion and glory of mass bloodshed. His attitude towards battle is more akin to an Assassin than an Executioner. Reveling in the glory of strategic engagement and premeditated bloodshed, he has been known to spend months thinking up ways to kill a relatively harmless adversary, only to choose the most brutal and sadistic manner possible.

History (Brief): Born in the great city of Har Ganeth, Vashzren was raised as the third son in a house of blacksmiths. Not immediately given the opportunity to take part in the creation of such valuable wares, Vashzren was instead tasked with maintaining order among the many slaves who worked the bellows and furnace. When not attending to the slaves, Vashzren honed his skills as a warrior.

His cruelty, family status, and swordplay marked him as an early candidate for formal warrior training at the dark city of Naggarond. He was given this training upon reaching adulthood, and was ultimately assigned to embrace his true calling as an Executioner in the city of Har Ganeth.

Skills: Vashzren is quite adept at the slaying of single targets, taking pride in both the hunting, engagement, and ultimate execution of his intended prey. He has a vast amount of knowledge regarding the art of war, though he has little personal experience regarding naval or mounted warfare. When it comes to melee-oriented land wars, however, he is among the best the Druchii have to offer.

Steed:None

Goals: Spill as much blood as possible, in the name of Khaine. Bring destruction to the land of the High Elves.

Joining as: Draich-master.

*Steeds are for the weak. Why in my day, we had to walk ten miles to the land of chill, uphill both ways...*shakes fist* Damn kids.

Ok guys, heres my profile...I still need to do the hisotry, jsut dont have alot of time at the present moment...

Name: Jarek Súrion

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 243.

Apparent Age: 25.

God Worshipped: Khaine.

Profession: Warrior.

Appearance: Jarek could be considered normal for an elf; he is of average height, and of similar build. Though the thing that marks him as different, is his face. His left hand side of his face is completely covered with black thorn like tattoos. His face is quite bony and square jawed with a crooked nose from countless fractures. His hair is as black as a raven, cut short at the back and left long at the front and sides, with his fringe falling over the right side of his face. His cold grey eyes are toned with black mascara to make his eyes look deep and troubled.

Jarek is seen carrying his weapons at all times. He never goes anywhere without a weapon, and even sleeps with a knife in his hands! He knows that his kin are treacherous, and that his only ally is himself. By his sides he carries to ornate hand axes. The blades have been blackened, and two small spikes stick out from the back of the blade. The wooden handles are wrapped in crimson leather. On his back he carries his shield with the symbol of Clar Karond emblazoned on it.

Jarek wears a light, but durable suit of a blackened plate, which consists of; a polished chestguard, spiked shoulders, spiked gauntlets, greaves, boots and a mail skirt. Under this he wears crimson robe. Jarek prefers not to wear a helmet, instead we wears a silk crimson cloth, which covers his nose and mouth. On his back Jarek wears his father’s sea dragon cloak, the scales of a bright turquoise, the same as the ocean waters.

Mental Description: Jarek is in a word, sadistic. Every action that he takes is one to cause pain and displeasure to someone that is not in his favour. He is a quick thinker with every aspect of a strategist. His heart burns with the anger of Khaine himself to punish their Asur for their betrayal to their Dark kin.

History: Still to come…

Goals: To become a stronger and better warrior in the eyes of his Lord’s, and to one day become a Black Guard, one of the legendary warriors sworn to protect Lord Malekith.

Joining As: Warrior, Lordling if possible.

Whew, I have been so busy the past few days. I have had time to piece together a character sheet, the history will follow later, but a hint is given in some parts.

Name: Aeryith Veniomi

Gender: Male

Age (actual ): 217

Age (apparent): 21

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Shade

Appearance: Aeryith is of average height for an elf, but seems to have a much bigger presence, thanks to his billowing clothes. Aeriyih’s skin is milky white, as he has not been in open daylight without a shade for many years. His thin mouth is just a faint line across his deathly face. Under most circumstances, it is contorted into a grimly satisfying grin, as he revels in his victims death.
His black shiny hair falls lightly over his back, at shoulder length. It frames his cold, empty eyes, with a few strands falling over his face. He can usually be seen wearing a large black cape and hood with robes, and underneath he has some light leather armour, for little protection. A purple tunic is worn below this and shows through the robes occasionally. On his wrists and black leather vambrances, with twin blades on them, which are used when he is weaponless.
Attached to the inside of the black robes are pouches, which contain various poisons, deadly chemicals and powders of unknown effects. He has two scabbards, one small and one larger. The large one is ornately decorated, and carries his wickedly curved blade. It is about the length of a short sword, and has various spikes on the lower blade, for catching flesh. The blade is curved at the end and inscribed with various symbols of Khaine.
The crossbow that is never usually hung on it’s strap, is carried by Aeryith everywhere. The poison tipped bolts are always loaded and are extremely effective at slowly killing the enemy.

Mental Description:Aeryith is a very cautious elf, as he excels in the arts of hiding, tracking and spying. He is often quiet, but makes his presence known when he wants to. He does not have a naturally quick temper, but does sometimes kill in fits of anger. Untypical for a follower of Khaine, he does not kill most of the time. He enjoys watching the torment of his prey and shows it. He will draw his hood down to look into their eyes as they die from poison, or blood loss.
He is ruthless when a task is set, and goes by the rule that the ends justify the means. He is not afraid of a scuffle either, years of living with fellow shades on the outskirts of Naggarond has not been an easy life.

History: To come, I’m very busy irl atm.

Skills:Aeryith is skilled with his sword and crossbow. He makes the poison on his bolts himself, from plants he gathers on his travels. He has an excellent knowledge of plants and living in the wild, as well as supreme stealth and evasion tactics.

Steed:Aeryith prefers to travel by foot, but owill use any steed available when need be.

Goals:Aeryith wishes to seek revenge on the Chaos beings who slaughtered his tribe of Shades, but also has shorter term goals. He would first like to acquire some knowledge of the daemons ad abominations that stalk the chaos wastes, so he can track down and fight them properly. To date, the only part of this goal he has accomplished is to have concocted a poison that will kill daemons.

I think I'm gonna back out though. Sorry guys, it's nothing personal. I just don't believe Sindrae-Rulu could kneel to a Slaanesh-worshipper. Especially one who technically doesn't count as a "Child of Naggaroth" as he's from Ulthuan. :P No offence meant, Nasim. You have an impressive character there. It's more to do with my character not fitting in that well.

I'm gonna go ahead and make my guild for Dark Elf mercenaries and outcasts. I hope things go well for you guys, and feel free to buy our services any time. Who knows? If my guild doesn't quite get off the ground, I might come crawling back.

Feel free to remove Sindrae-Rulu from list of members. Ta ta!

I'm not allowed to have qualms with the Witch King. He gets to be an exception to EVERY rule, because he says so. ;) I guess Elves old enough to have lived through the Sundering and come originally from Ulthuan BEFORE Nagarythe broke off could count as a problem too, but thankfully, there aren't many of them, especially in this guild. ;)

Selendor, there are aspects of your character's background, which require revision before you're accepted. You should be getting a PM with more detail sometime soon.

This is just something I must join up for. I always wanted to join a Dark Elf guild but as the old game didn't support them it never appeared...but now...yes...now it excists!

I've been around this game for a long time, though my posts on these forms are not many, and I've roleplayed a lot. This character has been in excistence for a long time but I have never written a bio for him.

This one here is done in quite a hurry and will hopefully improve with time.

Name: Anrahil Kel’thmir
Gender: Male
Age: 287 but appears to be around his thirties in human standards.

God Worshipped: Secretly worships Slaanesh
Profession: Corsair

Appearance: Slim, pale and tall as all his kinsfolk and with obsidian black hair flowing down onto his shoulders. Anrahil is your typical druchii; dark, silent, mysterious and always seeming to know what is going on. His posture is such that he appears to look down to everyone around him, though he eases up around his superiors. When walking around out of combat he strides proudly but still with great grace.
His chestplate helmet and wrist guards are darkened with months of seafaring, the once-shining silver now matt. Under the chestplate he wears high boots and dark-blue and grey robes, strung up with a number of crossbelts and over everything he wraps his sea-dragon cloak, fastening it by his neck with a claw. Occasionally a gleam can be seen from a necklace under the cloak.
Weapons: Anrahil has wielded many weapons in his battle his favourite being two well-crafted swords, perfect for swift strikes. Amongst his other weapons is a repeater crossbow and a draich which he was rewarded for saving the captain of his shio. The elegant blade had belonged to a deceased Executioner and though Anrahil is not as good with it as his other swords he carries it as a mark of honour.
Clothing/Armor: Over his grey and dark-blue robes he wears a standard Corsair’s breastplate, helmet, wrist guard and sea-dragon cloak, scarred after countless raids. Around his neck hangs a golden necklace and slung over his waist are many crossbelts, with flesh-hooks, sheaths and a hook for his crossbow. From time to time he carries along with himself a shield.
Mental Description: He is silent, stern and strict, respects the other races only for their ability to become slaves or die under his blades and cunning in the art of thinking. When a goal has been set he will pursue it with all his might, occasionally going over the line with his Slaanesh-tainted mind.

History (Brief): Growing up in the city of Karond Kar Anrahil turned quickly to the path of the Corsair; it also being a good way to attain riches and honour. At the age of onehundred-sixty-seven he was sent to his first raid and though it did not give him much loot he only became more determined and fierce with every raid and with time he became one of the best in his group. At one time he rescued his captain who had been cornered by two Asurs; Anrahil snuck up behind the two and stabbed them from behind. After that he became very close to the captain, though never closer than any druchii would ever let anyone who was out for their position.

Time came when Anrahil was offered a position as a captain but after serious consideration he decided that he did not want to make any mistakes and resolved that he was not good enough yet and ever since he has watched his captain even closer; learning every tactic and skill he could before he would himself one day lead his own crew to the unsuspecting shores of the Old World.

Skills: He is adept at fighting in all sorts of situations armed with any of his weapon, seamanship and navigation are his professions and when needed he is an excellent strategist.
Steed: Though he is fascinated by the mighty Cold Ones he has never wanted to go through the process of learning to ride one.
Goals: His goals in life are simple, to serve himself and his kin, seeking out powerful and influential positions. What he wishes most to achieve is to lead a successful and rewarding raid.

Nemedil, you're in, although I do have one concern with your character sheet, just a minor one with a small part of the history; you have Anrahil going on his first raid at age 67, and IIRC Druchii aren't considered adults until they are 150, or at least 100 years old so it seems he'd have been relatively young to go on his first raid then. Something like 167 seems more likely, to me at least.

Regardless, as I said, you're in so congratulations! Anrahil falls under the command of Kaleth, which means you'll come under the command of Rimner.

Good day all!
I've been waiting for a Druchii-based guild to pop up on the forums, and hence I wish to express my interest in joining your ranks.

Here is my profile as promised:
NAME: Tythas Kyrchek (pronounced Tythas Kerr-t-jeck)
GENDER: Male
AGE: 237 (actual); 30 (apparent)

GOD WORSHIPPED: Khaine
PROFESSION: Executioner

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Tythas stands at 6’ 6” in height, built of fairly broad-shoulder and toned muscularity. Tythas is a towering figure, moving in broad strides with absolute power and stealth (that of course being especially for a person of his size and stature) that does somewhat make his movement appear much of a gliding motion. With deathly-pale skin tone and soft, flowing black hair falling just above the shoulder Tythas has quite the stereotyped elven exterior on balance.

Tythas clothes himself in a sleeveless cotton jerkin, draping over this a denser hooded-robe made of fine quality silk; these robes are mainly black in body and cowl though the slightly baggy sleeves contrast in a darker purple colouring, also an under-layer of purple is visible about an inch above the ankles.
Also beneath this over-garment he wears a loose leather trouser and large, black knee-high boots.
The large cowl on Tythas’ robes casts thick shadow over the majority of all facial appearance that would otherwise be notable, all that can be observed is a pair of fearsome and sadistic eyes which glow a burnt-orange shade through the pitch blackness created by the hood.
In battle Tythas suits up in quite ordinary light armour, beneath this a long-sleeved chainmail shirt fitted under his robes and replacing the undergarments.

MENTAL DESCRIPTION: It would not be at all true to deem Tythas as anything but a maniacal, sadistic man with little emotion behind the shadowed face but the elation obtained through the physical dismemberment and torture of others. Tythas lives for bringing death to those who stand as opposition to both himself and the Land of Chill in itself entirety. Tythas is a mysterious person, not one known for neither tremendous social acceptance nor friendliness towards others, and also true to his virtually emotionless persona he tends to be very distrusting of those he does not know well. It often takes a fair period of time to earn Tythas’ trust and mutual respect, however his intentions in life are not to be liked by all or to make friends, so much as they are solely and truly to his nature to kill!
Tythas is a loyal and well-respecting man, that is once such has been shown satisfactorily in his favour. In short, this man is indisputably a valuable ally…and amongst the most fearsome of enemies!!

WEAPONS: Tythas wields two double-headed axes, typical of his profession really. These axes have metre-long handles forged from solid oak, with the first blade being a semi-circular standard axe-head and the second a 10-inch straight blade. He carries these axes on his back when not in use, and worn in a scabbard on his waist is the customary Executioner’s Draich. This particular great weapon belonged to his father, and is wielded in battle as something of both a tribute to his god and father likewise.
Does not take any preference with regard to range weaponry, even the almost Druchii-exclusive repeater crossbow.

BRIEF HISTORY: Tythas was one of three brothers, and had one younger sister below him in the family. Born and bred quite expectedly in the grand city of Har Ganeth he was forced to roam the streets from a relatively early age, as a teenage boy that is, ever since his father and two elder siblings had lost their lives in battle on an invasion of neighbouring Ulthuan. It had always fascinated Tythas somewhat the life of a warrior in Druchii society, and since having been forced out of his home because his mother could not afford to keep him, Tythas went in pursuit of his dream…to become a serve of the Witch King himself!
Losing a father, two brothers and whatever else he could have called family was enough pain to completely shatter his emotions and all feelings of peace and non-violence deeper inside of him. This internal rage drove Tythas to hone the limited skills he had come to learn through watching his brothers sparring often, training himself with the intent of becoming a warrior in Malekith’s overwhelming forces.
One thing, in fact the very last thing his next-eldest brother had ever said to him he vaguely remembered to have been “The one thing we can be certain of is that we will all die. Death, dear Tythas, is nothing as bad as it is made out to be….if you are the one who decides fate not just a victim of it! When it is time, you will know what I mean….”
From this final memory of his family Tythas motivated himself to train hard as a warrior, and eventually once he had reached adulthood began making his way into the ranks of the Executioner regiments of his hometown; receiving the remainder of more professional training that he would require as a serve of the Witch King.
It had reached the time that he was to answer the underlying call in his mind to fight for the world he knew, and to avenge his father and brothers in making them somewhat proud of what he had become as their successor.

STEED: N/A

GOALS: Avenge the loss of his family, spread the rule of the Witch King across the Old World, ultimately bring death to all those who stand against him!

JOINING AS: Executioner

Alright, the RP is up. Basically you can either write yourself as already being here or just arriving. If the former feel free to be training in one of the training areas outside, eating in one of the dining areas, tormenting the slaves, in the forge, stables, or greeting the new arrivals. If you’re one of the new arrivals feel free to have a look around the guild house, find the room you will be staying in and put any of your things away, or interact with any other members. BTW, if you’re a new arrival feel free to include your impression of the city of Clar Karond or the guild house. Aelly, I’m afraid I sort of painted you into a corner of having to be a new arrival, so sorry about that. Oh, and for those who are in command of a section, I realize atm we don’t really have a lot of members in each section so for the moment feel free to make use of NPCs as additional warriors, corsairs, shades, and executioners.

Darkblade, you're in. I'll put you up on the roster now. Just remember that Tythas is under the direct command of Vashzren, which means you and Selendor will prolly have a lot of interaction. Anyway, congratulations!

EDIT: I added in 4 maps to hopefully simplify and clarify the layout of the guild house. Let it be known, I'm not particularly good at drawing maps.

Welcome Enlith. Druchii would seem diametrically opposite to Brettonian's in terms of good and evil, so should certainly balance out. Anyway, glad to see another person is interested.

DarkBlade, there are some concerns about your post, namely the free human and human-owned bar.

Name: Retaii Urhan

Gender: Male

Age (actual and apparent): 479/late 20’s early 30’s

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Shade

Appearance: Retaii is possessed of a tall, lithe figure like the majority of Druchii. His hair is long and unkempt, its jet black lank and greasy. His almond shaped eyes are a yellowy-gold, like those of a wolf and his pearly white teeth are all filed into points. A life spent in the harsh wilderness of the Blackspine Mountains has given Retaii a rugged appearance, his craggy face graced in a few places with knobbly scars. His left ear his mauled, its pointed top no more and his chin is rough with stubble. He is a master at the art of concealment and is completely at home in the rugged terrain that makes up the Land of Chill.

Weapons: Retaii carries a single, one sided, silver steeled blade. Its length is long and its edge keen. The hilt of this sword is as much a weapon as the blade itself, its ends hooked and barbed, designed to rend at tear at an opponents flesh. The Autarii also carries a small skinning knife, more of a pleasure tool than a functional weapon, although it is more than capable of taking ones life.

Retaii also has a repeating crossbow, made of sturdy mahogany and kept meticulously clean at all times. This weapon is the Shades pride and joy, and he is able to wield it with stunning effects.

Clothing/Armour: Retaii’s normal dress involves a few layers of dark robes, stained in places with dried dirt and blood. Over these robes he wears a indigo dyed kheitan of expensive Dwarf flesh, strong yet supple. He normally shuns armour for extra mobility and easier concealment; however, if he is entering open battle he may don a shirt of chain mail.

Mental Description: Retaii is as the landscape he grew up in, cold, unforgiving, merciless and cruel, even by Druchii standards. He is as savage as the beasts of the forest, his mind constantly changing. One minute, he could be protecting you, the next he could be upon you with his sword drawn. His hobbies include experimenting with poisons and toxins, and the ritual torture of slaves.

Equipment: Retaii carries a number of poisons and powerful drugs around with him, to hinder his opponents and aid himself. His particular favourite is highly expensive and highly effective Courva Root, a stimulant that sharpens the senses and increases ones reflexes. Infact, he has become addicted to this drug, craving its speedy highs.

History (brief or long): Retaii grew up in the forests that surround the Blackspine Mountains, being trained from birth in the ways of concealment and scouting, and those of the sword and crossbow. For decades to come he scoured the mountains and forests of Naggaroth, protecting the Witch Kings domain from the incursions of chaos and the troublesome beastmen.

He craved power from an early age, he lusted for a higher standing in the clan. Nothing would stop him, and he gleefully murdered his three siblings one by one, becoming next in line to the title of Urhan. He waited for years, wishing and hoping that his father would not return from one of the many hunts he embarked upon. As time rolled on he grew more and more impatient, and eventually killed his father, poisoning his food with the most deadly toxins.

The title of Urhan was now his, but the clan disapproved. Multiple assassination attempts upon his life where foiled until finally, Retaii fled the mountains for civilisation, and ultimately more power. This has led him to The Children of Naggaroth, who he hopes can help him fulfil his goals.

Goals (short-term and/or long-term): Make his way up the rankings of the guild/ (Secretly) take over the guild, by any means possible.

Looks fine, mind ambitious, but then again aren't we all? Do you want to join as the Bloodshade, though? I'd need a sample of your writing (I'd assume you'd just have me look at the KotR RP), but it looks like it would fit with your characters ambitious nature, and his past history. Regardless, you're in, currently as a shade, although if you decide to go for bloodshade I can edit the roster, assuming you make it.

Alright guys I know I‘m a little late but Il finally prodded/kicked me enough and I got around to posting. So without further ado here’s a little character sheet that I’ve done for my character that I’d like to use for the RP. Here’s the boring part first, the history is a bit better and I also tossed in a short little narrative for a small writing sample. I plan on getting some sketches up in a bit too.

Name-Orantus Kasamir

Gender-Male

Age-Apparent 19, Actual 213

God-Khaine

Profession-Assassin

Steed-None, Orantus can ride but much prefers foot travel.

Skills-Excels in entering houses or other complexes unnoticed and moving around without detected. Generally makes his assassinations quickly, quietly, and simply, preferring to get the job done and move on. He is a vicious opponent when engaged in head to head combat but it is rare that an assassination will force him into actually fighting this way, however things do not always go as planned and Orantus is well equipped and well trained to fight his way out of a hairy situation. He also is a proficient thief and is adept at slipping into a crowd and just generally disappearing.

Physical Appearance-Orantus is fairly small, standing only about 167 cm tall and weighing a mere50 kilograms. He is of a slight build, almost feminine in appearance yet is still lithe and muscular. Orantus retains the light skin of his people but it has some hue to it. His hair is a dark chestnut (this will be explained later) as opposed to the normal black hair of a Druchii and his eyes are the same colour. He dresses quite simply, normally porting no more then a grey cloak and tunic, and some sort of leggings. He generally wraps his arms in cloth to provide some sort of minimal protection but mostly to conceal a small dirk in each. In addition to those two blades which are normally reserved for last resort, Orantus carries twin daggers which he always keep well coated with the famously terrifying poison of the black lotus. Neither of the two daggers is ornate, existing simply for their purpose: to bring death to those chosen to receive its gift. For raids or battles, which he rarely engages in, Orantus has a long sword which he wields with proficiency but it is clear that his preferred method of stealing breath from his foes is with the dagger.

Mental Makeup-Unlike most Druchii Orantus tends to be humble, speaking very little and tending to keep to himself. He hides his thoughts behind a mask and his heart behind a shell. He does not believe in taking slaves nor does he believe in living an extravagant life style and therefore lives very simply and keeps little in the way of possessions. Orantus also once had the capacity to love but that is a capacity which has been long lost.

History-Orantus comes from a house of nobles, however is not considered part of the lineage of the house. His tale is different from nearly all of the others in his class.

Orantus’s father Cohen Kasamir was and is a fairly powerful noble in the city of Karond Kar owning a large mansion and many slaves for a noble with his level of political influence. Cohen always loved to raid being a former corsair himself before his rise to power after killing the captain of his ship and taking command. On one of his many moonlight raids Cohen sacked a small Elvin fishing community and took only 13 slaves from it. At first angered that the raid produced so few slaves Cohen quickly lost his temper once he stepped below deck to inspect the slaves. Still in battle garb with rage burning in his eyes and encrusted with dried mud and drying blood Cohen was clearly not a man to be crossed. As he walked down the single row of slaves all but one shrank away trembling. All but one young Elvin girl who, beneath the mire and soot, was clearly very beautiful. As her eyes met those of her captor and new master a conversation played out between them both in their eyes, and despite the long standing hatred of the two races somehow they found a strange attraction. Cohen experienced an emotion he never had before, and Liesa, the small blonde Elf girl wrenched from her home one evening, experienced something that she had only heard of in tales. Love.

Upon his return to Naggaroth Cohen had the slaves put to work in his manse, however Liesa he took as his mistress. Raping a slave was fairly common practice but taking one as a mistress was more or less unheard of and sparked rumours within the upper classes of the Druchii. Some wrote it off as Cohen going through one of his slightly eccentric phases which he was known for, others, however, frowned upon him.

Liesa gave birth to Orantus a few years after her arrival in the chill lands, however she was killed in child birth. Cohen was furious and nearly killed the babe, blaming Orantus for the death of his beloved. Orantus would live with this for the rest of his life and his father, much like the majority of the population, would never care for him.

Orantus led a solitary childhood. Easily distinguishable from the other Dark Elf children from his slightly darker skin and his lighter hair and eyes Orantus was an outcast from society. All of the other children looked down on him for his mixed background and Orantus quickly learned to put up barriers between himself and other people. He learned quickly too at an early age that stealth, deception, and agility were often more useful then brute force.

However the tale of Orantus does not really begin until years later. Orantus‘s father harboured his hatred towards Orantus for the loss of his mother during his birth for years, biding his time in an attempt to lull Orantus into a sense of false security. Then on a Death Night, Cohen purposefully left Orantus outside of the mansion to be taken by the brides of Khaine. Somehow Orantus, a child of 37 (to a human he would have appeared to be no more than 9 or 10 years old), survived the Cauldron of Blood and the assassins took him into their order. He trained in the cult of Khaine for many years, honing his skills as an assassin and eventually gained some minor renown locally as being an effective and efficient assassin. While many people hated him, his own father one of them, most were wary of crossing him since his skill at the death craft was known to all. While Orantus still kept very much to himself and his devotion to the temple meant that he rarely had interaction with the outside world he still made a concerted effort to spend as much time as possible with one person. Throughout his childhood he had but one friend, a Druchii girl by the name of Aralyn. She was the one person that didn’t scorn him and the one person that Orantus let past his walls in his mind and heart. Eventually the two fell in love with each other, secretly though since love is seen by most Druchii to be a weak and useless emotion especially for an assassin such as Orantus. One summer night under the stars Aralyn led Orantus into the forest and with the petals and leaves of black lotus plants wrapped around them she made love to him. A few months later it was clear that Aralyn was with child and most people knew who the father was. One night Orantus had slipped from the temple to see Aralyn however when he arrived at her house and entered her bedroom what he found changed his life.

For in her bed Aralyn lay flayed and beaten, her blood soaked into the sheets, spilled on the floor, and spattered on the walls. Their child had been ripped from her belly and its head dashed on the floor. It was a gruesome and cruel sight and one that sent Orantus over the edge. That night he let go of everything and became hardened completely to the world and all those in it. Every capacity that he once had to love or even have any sort of emotion was utterly shredded and the pieces tossed to the sky to be scattered by the cold, uncaring winds of the north. That night with the one person Orantus cared for and was loved by murdered simply for loving him, Orantus became a man with but one purpose: to kill. Orantus took the ring from Aralyn’s finger, slipped it onto his hand, kissed what was left of her lips and the after starting a small fire in the house, he left it, the bodies of those he loved, and his former life to burn away into the night.

Orantus did not sleep that night, he first travelled to the forest and from the very lotus plant that he had taken Aralyn under he plucked a fistful of blossoms and returned to the temple to craft his poison. When the poison was finished and his blades coated Orantus set off into the night. Many throats felt the kiss of his daggers that night and by the next day many noble families were seeking vengeance. Orantus, however, slipped away and for the next century was thought dead by most.

It is now many years later and he has reappeared in the port city of Clar Karond. Orantus has been folded back into the order of the assassins and it is very clear that wherever he has been for the past century his skills at his art have increased many-fold. He is now known as the grey shadow for his cloak and the fact that many people have never heard him utter a word. Orantus has become nothing more then a bitter and frozen shadow of a man who exists for nothing more then to serve Khaine and bring an end to the lives of others. Orantus still harbours all the pain and emotions from the love and loss of Aralyn deep within his heart, however these emotions are ones nobody will ever see and are what drives him. A day does not go by that he forgets his love, every time his blades steal life he thinks of the life stolen from him, every time the poison of the lotus takes another victim he remembers the passionate hours played out beneath the stars, and every time his hands close around the hilt of his blades he feels the silver ring that belonged to her. He never feels alive, not anymore, and so he has fallen into some sort of numb contentment with killing until one day he too shall die and finally be reunited with the one he loves.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Super-short story time

Orantus sat perched on the door frame, still and silent. He had been waiting there for hours now, the entire time his face and body had been pressed to the wall and he sat balanced perfectly on his toes. There was a clock in the room, ticking away.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.
The muscles in his legs were beginning to cramp due to the squatting position he had assumed to allow him to rest delicately on the quarter inch of the door frame, posed with cloak spread wide, dagger in either had like a grey butterfly that had lit on the wall.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock
Waiting, and waiting and waiting.
Finally Orantus heard footfalls coming down the stone hallway. A man, older then Orantus, dark hair flowing loosely, passed beneath Orantus and then stopped, frozen in place by the poisoned barb that had just pierced the tender flesh of his foot. He tried to cry out but all that escaped his mouth was a dry, shrivelled croak. With a wrenching effort he moved his gaze skyward just as Orantus left his perch and descended like a raven as the clock ticked.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.
Orantus’s feet touched the ground just as the first drop of blood did.
And the clock kept its vigil, tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.
And Orantus kept killing, tick-tock tick-tock, kept killing, kept killing, tick-tock, tick-tock.

Hope that was sufficient

Well, after a certain set of unpleasantries, the Fathers have decided to institute a trialee policy. Now, none of the current members need to worry about it, but it will apply to anyone wishing to join in the future. Basicly, in addition to posting a character sheet, new members will take part in a trial RP to make sure that the guild is right for them and that they are right for the guild. Now then, where was I?

Ah, yes, I know...

Welcome PRC. I'm afraid you got in after we altered the charter a bit, which included the aforementioned trialee policy. I'm currently working on a potential trial RP for you, involving members from a well-reputed guild; however, it seems that everyone's coming to Akerith in Cold Hearts, so...definative details on your test RP may not be up until sometime next week. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I've got to get a post for the current RP, and I'll be gone all weekend, which doesn't help things.

Greetings. in reply to your question Alley, the guidelines for new guilds being added to the guild listing are written out on the second post of that thread.

new guild's will be considered for addition to the guilds list on the first of each month. (think of this time as the guilds trial period to see if it is a guild that will continue on or if it will fall to the side like others before) The guilds that are currently on the list were guilds that existed prior to the current forums and as such were already included upon my creation of the list. However, as the first of the month hits, major changes will be made to the list which includes removing inactive guilds as well as addition of the new guilds, amongst others updates.

This guild was created on these forums and as such i did not add them to the list. as can be seen on the guild thread quite a few guilds were created and more than the majority failed to really go anywhere.

The guilds info has been posted and i have taken note of the activity in this guild as well as the guild RP that i previously stated was also a pre-req of being on the guild list. i think as long as this guild keeps up the level of activity and interest then there is little worry that i will not be adding this guild come march.

Ooc: Here is a Character sheet to join your guild I haven’t done one in forever so I apologize. Yet I can give you references to my writing if needed and I can clearly rp the character better then I can write this sheet up.

Name: Balrick Elthrian (also know) Balrick the Blind

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 385

Apparent age: In his 20’s

Profession: Lesser Noble/ Retainer

Religion: None

Appearance: Balrick is like an other druchii noble, of medium stature and build. His flesh is stark white showing little exposure to the natural sun. The most striking feature of Balrick is the two gaping holes were his eyes once were. Making the dark pits even more striking it the fine tattoos that twist about his eyes and run across his whole face, Dark swirls that seems to draw everything to those gaping holes.

The head of the noble is shaven clean and usually about from the top of his nose downwards a dark black cloth is wrapped about his head hiding his emotions. Part of his left ear is missing also from a fight.

A black-steeled short sword hangs from his waist, right next to it hangs a long dagger the edge of the blade twisted so that when he is ripping it free it pulls flesh with it. Each blade also is coated in a slick substance various different poisons. Balrick also carries upon him two small black-steeled daggers, and five throwing daggers.

Balrick wears the typical ornate amour of the nobility. Yet his has seen the wear and hate of time. Blood is still caked on his amour and his had many dents within the black steel. It was the amour of his father before the elf came to a swift end, all the symbols of his household are now long gone. The only retaining features of the amour our the meat hocks that hang from it each with the rune of hate speared upon the many hocks are the eyes of those that Balrick has slain and that of a black bound book that hangs from chains from the blind warrior.

Mental Description: Blarick is calculating and patient like slow working poison he can wait for you to die watching you spasm on the ground and choke upon your own excrement. Balrick does not know the world as those can gaze upon it see it, he knows it in sound and touch. To this degree he is more astute then others picking up upon small undertones in a voice, and the softest heartbeat.

Histoyr: Coming from the lesser know family of nobility the Elthrian, Balrick was the youngest child. It is said that Balrick as a young baby kept his eyes closed and only opened them at the dead of night. One day though the smallest child’s eyes opened and as his mother gazed within them she swore she saw images that wracked her mind and soul. The child’s eyes were removed immediately and the child was thrown into the street were it might die. Compassion is not a feature of druchii so this would be where the story ended. Yet a young human slave of a more prominent household took the child in. Balrick spent a short time of his childhood as the slave of another. The human was killed and once more Balrick found himself upon the street. Yet he was older now and began to learn the dark elf way. Much time passed and many things happened to the blind noble, he grew though in strength and in deadliness. He returned to the house of the he was slave of once and slew the noble that owned it, yet Balrick had no care merely to take the nobles place. Sit when there was so much more that his sword could do. He returned home and killed his family killing the line of Elthruian all but himself. In court is where Balrick meet Akerith Kelathon and Nuirathil Aleanlylth. There he pledge a bound to them and a retainer in their household. Why he did this, his reasons are his own.

Skills: Skilled swordsman, with both the dagger and short sword using both at once. He also is very skilled at throwing daggers. Balrick is a master of silence as his ears are more attune to the world about him. Even in his heavy armor he barely makes a noise. Balrick knows much about poisons and has build up immunity to many in his years. He can sum up people merely by listening to there voice and can find there weakness just as simply.

Steed: None at the moment but like most nobility has the knowledge to ride a horse and cold one proficiently.

Goals: To bring about what he saw as a child. He cares very little for power or strength he knows the many paths of his fate already. He just wish to bring about the one with eth most blood and pleasure.

Joining as a: Noble

But yea, I should be on MSN most of tomorrow so I'll try and talk with you then. I had my audition today, and I think it went well enough (we'll find out in a few weeks), but after church I don't have anything to do tomorrow (Monday = touring the uni; whay!!!)

The Cold spell was just to get everyone to stop squabbling as well as to get attention. Kathani was sent to speak with the Fathers so that's what she was trying to do. Besides she keeps getting told that she can't get all the info she needs from just Nuirathil.

If you’re still open to accepting characters, I’d like to give Luna a try for the Noble position. I like your guild, it fits well with what I know of the Dark Elves.

Name: Luna ‘Maelith’ Alulae
Gender: Female
Age: Ninety Four.
Apparent: 31
God Worshipped: Khaine
Profession: Noble Retainer.
Appearance: An angular jaw and hollow cheeks accentuate a face that, even by druchii standards, is beautiful. Pale gray eyes, and faded lips grant her visage a peculiar glow, her hair a dulled black, granting her the common nickname of Maelith; a malevolent spirit who had offended the Dark Mother during life, and was damned to haunt the earth until the end of days. An ironic statement considering Luna’s true fate.
Weapons: A druchii spatha, curved at the top, forming an elaborate rune. Luna also bears a reaper-crossbow, made of Black Forest pine, the arrow’s from crow feathers and oak.
Clothing/Armor: An articulated breastplate, complete with shoulder guards and ridged sides, covering her Kheitan; a thick gambeson of leather and cloth worn over her layered robes, covering her upper and lower torso.
Mental Description: Bitter, and cold. Ever since earning the displeasure of the dark mother at her Hanil Khar, Luna has been vowing revenge. As such, she is hatred driven, and one need only speak to her to feel the raw and emanating emotions of hatred flowing off of her. She is quick to speak, and smart, and lives by only a few rules: Speak only when what you say will be appreciated; speak when spoken to. Kill those who offend you, keep a sword pointed at those who don’t. Not literally, of course. She has a rooted hate for magic users, and those of the cult of Slaanesh, but it is not something she could not rise over, and not something she would act out of hand for.
Brief History : Luna Alulae; born in Clar Karond, raised there, and taught there. She was as close to a ‘Tom-Boy’ as Dark Elf society allowed, even going so far as to launch her own Hakseer. It was a failure, and upon her return and the resultant Hanil Khar, the Dark Mother learned of it. She was deemed to have broken the gender boundaries of the Druchii, and as such a fitting punishment was given. She was denied any right to a husband, to marry, to bear children. The most grievous torture imaginable wrenching the womb from her stomach. Of course, torture hits on two levels, physical and mental. Morathi denied her a scar, sending a clear message to Luna; both an example of the Dark Mother’s supreme power, and the fact the thought of doing it would brush as easily from her conscience as a stray hair would from her face.
Bitter, and angry she left her life. Going by the pseudonym Maelith, she joined with a guild in Clar Karond. A new life beckoning.
Skills: Perversion, killing, lying. Can speak Reikspeil, Druhir and the dark tongue.
Steed: Saos’ila, her Nauglir. Cold One steed.
Goals: The suffering of others. To revenge herself upon Morathi.
Joining As: A Noble. If I may.

Well, just a few bits to say.

I've registered the guild a website: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=68622&TabID=594404

It still needs some work, but...for the moment we are online. Create an account, and feel free to use that as a place to talk about guild things or just to chat.

BTW, for future reference, Nuirathil's not flaunting his Slaaneshi nature, so please don't have your char's know his religion right off the bat.

The RP is going somewhat back on track now, so post when you get a chance (yay, no more introductions)!

Oh, btw, for our corsairs, and our herald, you might want to come inside the guildhouse (or interact with Kathani outside), but at least Akerith won't be going outside or downstairs in the immediate future.

The Trial RP will begin soon. It will be a joint RP with the Sons of Chaos, and it will be the trial for Renai, Luckless Tom, and PRC. For PRC it will be a field assassination of sorts. For Renai and Luckless Tom it will primarily focus on dialogue, politics, and all that that entails.

Name: Salem Yeurl
Gender: Male
Age (actual and apparent): early to mid twenties, 569
God Worshipped: Slaanesh
Profession: Noble (Heir Apparent to the lower branch house Yeurl)
Appearance: Middling to short height for an elf at 6’3”, he has the traditional white skin and black hair of the elves of Naggaroth. His eyes are a dark inky blue. He is stunningly good-looking to an extent that even some of his elven kin consider him a little effeminate. He is lithe and thin, again even for an elf.

The tops of his thighs, his forearms are a mass of interlocking scar tissue, his torso is also crisscrossed with strangely patterned scaring, these are the remnants of self harm and the indulgences of the Cult of Slaanesh, his face, hands and neck are untouched, it would not do for people to notice…
Weapons: Salem is a great user of concealed weapons particularly in ‘everyday dress’ a usual arrangement might go something like this:
Three shuriken on the inside of each forearm, a long bladed knife in each boot, a pair of throwing knives down the back of his collar, three to five throwing knives in a concealed baldric strapped across his chest, a veil of fast acting hallucinogenic poison concealed in the sole of his left boot, several lengths of silk cord concealed in the lining of his cloak and a very small palm blade sheathed between his genitalia and his left thigh.
This though may vary…
In battle he wields a dark iron longsword twisted with recurved barbs. But Salem rarely uses this blade save when the Children must all go to battle. Though for important state occasions he will strap it across his back and carry a short sword at his hip as befits his station as a noble.

He has personaly created a poison, ruffly translated it means Soul Eater. If thrust into a living body the blood itself will become poisonous to that body as the veins become thick black bulging lines creeping steadily from the wound a strong enough will or a powerful mage could resist or even reverse the effects forcing back the black lines with sheer force of will (usually in the form of some feverish illusion of physical battle against demons wrought of black bile). Far more to his taste is his repeater crossbow, the darts of which are loaded with Soul Eater.

Clothing/Armor: His house banner is an emerald serpent upon a midnight blue field, he wears and reserved Kheitan of midnight blue silk so fine it is impossible for even refined senses to pick out individual threads, embroidered with subtle dark green serpents upon the sleeves and collar. In battle he wears the armor of house Yeurl, it is made of black meteoric iron and heavily stylised (even for Druchii armor) along a serpent theme, the vambraces appear to be serpents heads resting on the back of his hands, scale mail ect. Over cloth of midnight blue and a cloak of the same. The armor includes a full face mask of the same dark metal depicting a demonic scaled face. This armor is more than a little at odds with his usual appearance as a Dandy and so only dons it for actual battle.
Mental Description: Cold, despite his beautiful, almost overly cared for appearance Salem’s face is a mask of ice. He compartmentalises his life, fun here, work here, this is battle, this is worship. As such he does not appear of act like an ordinary Slaanesh worshiper, or indeed even an ordinary sane mind. His level of self control is so finely honed he betrays no emotion at all indeed feels no emotion unless he allows himself to feel it.

He likes order and structure to his life and though he does not know it himself he would quite like someone around whom he can let down his extensive mental barriers and walls and just be ‘himself’ a person even he has yet to meet.
History (brief or long): WIP it will essentially come down to a perfectionist father who beat his mother to death, using the cult of Slaanesh to express the sides of his character he represses in everyday life and resulting in him killing his father under his uncles and Nuirathil’s patronage
Skills: He is and this is perhaps his most useful skill, an organisational wizard, his intense almost need for order and structure allows him to wade through mounds of paper work with an astounding speed and efficiency cutting costs and increasing efficiency. The Children’s household actually makes a sizable profit with the trade of various estates, operating as a form of bank and of course dealing in narcotics and hallucinogens. He is very skilled at assessing people and getting the best from them, offering rewards or issuing threats as appropriate for that persons various neurosis.
He operates as a kind of ‘fixer’ he deals in favours for the other members of the guild getting them whatever they want in return for other items or tasks
He is highly skilled with all the weapons he carries as befits a Druchii of his rank whose life is filled with ever present danger.
Steed: Salem possesses a dainty mare named Primrose, a heavy built warhorse named Bane
Goals (short-term and/or long-term): Short term: to make the Guild the most efficiently run organisation in Naggaroth and thus increase both its and his own prestige. Long term: To restore house Yeurl to its rightful place as lords of Clar Karond, expand the guild to all the cities in Naggaroth and perhaps to find someone to share his new found glory with.
Joining As: Noble (or warrior if I am deemed unworthy, in which case my character carries merely a very nice longsword rather than the Poisenfang and his armour is a tad less ornate)

If you decide that I am up to the task then my trial could be killing Salem's dear old dad... I am willing to negotiate about Fluffles *ahem* I mean Khal.

If Squeek/Teh Emo doesn't get you, then Akerith may send a NPC guard, Eckelis, or Aeriath to get Kensek.

And on that note, Squeek, if you could post ASAP that would be preferable.

Rimner and Snapmaster, as far as IC wise there's not much to be said because atm Akerith and Nuirathil don't know who the killer is, mind they don't like Retaii and he seems as good a suspect as any; however, they don't really know whether the murderer's a Khainite, a Slaaneshi, or even a member of the guild - the murderer could be an outside assassin for what little they know.

OOC-wise, Snapmaster, contact me on MSN if you'll need more details.

Tom, the trial RP is a joint RP with the Sons of Chaos (in part because most of the guild will be dealing with Cold Hearts), and I'm waiting for the go ahead from Spirit and Corellion before posting the RP. Also I'm waiting on a response from Renaii to see if Luna will still be joining the CoN; if not a few parts of the RP's opening post will need a change. If you want to know what the RP is about and where it's set, contact me via PM or on AIM or MSN (usually signed in on MSN, whether or not I'm actually online at the time).

Edit: BTW, for our two corsairs, there may be an opening for one or both of you to play in our upcoming trial RP with the SoC. Keep an eye on this thread for further updates (mind, if an opening exists I'll prolly PM you to see if you would be interested).

Name: Darcuz Auzseit

Gender: Male

Age Apparent: 26

Age Actual: 336

God Worshipped: Slaanesh

Profession: Warrior Captain

Appearance: Standing 6’0”, His features are hidden behind his armor and mask which is nearly never taken off when he isn’t in the northern waste of Naggaroth. The skin that is visible is pale as the snow that covers the ground he roamed and his eyes blue as ice. When his armor is off the symbol of Slaanesh is visible on his right breast and multiple scars cover his body from the fights he has been in in his life. His hair is as black as a ravens feather and falls to his waist while wearing his helm and to his knees when his helm is off.

Weapons: He carries three items with him. A two handed sword he gained in his travels in the Northen Waste. Personally etched with the runes of Drukh-Eltharin, the phrase Kuyash Ganthai (Demon Executioner). A repeater crossbow for when he is mounted and needs to hunt his game, and the spear that was givin to him when he joined the ranks of the warriors of Hag Graef.

Clothing/Armor: Wearing full armor from Hag Graef, he has painted over its original colors with black and gold to represent that he feels no remorse for those who die by his sword and his services can be bought. When he feels relaxed he traditionally wears a robe of pure black with the hood brought up. The symbol of Slaanesh is on his back with golden thread mixed with the blond hair of a High Elf he slaughtered on a raid during his younger years.

Mental Description: Calm and inquisitive in nature. He observes and keeps to himself. Looking at all with cool calculations of where he can strike to put them down with ease. He cares not for who he kills for or who he kills, as long as he is paid in advance for his services.

History: Originally from Har Ganeth, Darcuz was tought the ways of the Warrior at the age of 100 at Hag Graef. Being a student for 120 years, learning the fine art of crafting his own weapon and armor and participating in the executions of slaves and kindred alike he has grown to take no pity on anyone. Eventually seeing Naggaroth for what it is, he left everything aside and went into the Chaos Waste to find himself.

While in the Northern Waste, he slew many “Barbarians” while learning from those who paid for his services. For 20 years he was paid to join a force to face a High Elf merchant flotilla. During this time he took his first Trophy from the scalp of a phoenix lord. A knight of Slaanesh who was with him told him of the glories of his lord and to gain favor he should take his black robe and make his insignia with golden thread and the hairs of the lord. He spent his remaining years in the Chaos Waste learning the ways of Slaanesh and how to gain his favor.

104 years went past in Naggaroth and he was all but forgotten in Hag Graef until it was reported that he was seen coming back down to his native lands. Promptly he was welcomed back until he openly defied his former masters and was ordered to be Executed at dawn. Escaping by thanks to one of his so called friends he offered his services as a mercenary to any who could afford his price. In battle he will rank up with other Executioners if he trusts them, but often prefers being the lone wolf whose fangs crave the blood of those who he deems unworthy. He often takes trophies of those who presented a challenge in duels, and wont take a second thought of killing his payers if they try to with hold payment for any reason.

Skills: Skilled with his sword, he has learned to kill a man with a single blow. To ease himself he has over the years learned the ways of the carpenter in both Naggaroth and in the Chaos Waste. He has also been able to paralyze a foe with the stare of his ice blue eyes in challenges in order to slay them.

Steed: His Darksteed accompanies him on his journeys through Naggaroth and he has learned in his journeys through the waste to summon a steed of Slaanesh through a ritual sacrafice. Proving to unstable he has learned to rely only on his steed Avgur.

Goals: His goals are to live each day. Earn money to pay his way to his next destination and to one day rejoin his comrads of Har Ganeth.

Joining As: Warrior

A Slaaneshi Executioner?

Ilairon
03-03-2006, 02:43 PM
Indeed, Executioners are the embodiement of Khaine in his aspect as the executioner, so...they're aren't really Slaaneshi executioners, and I doubt that one would change religion. Also, I'm not entirely sure when the citizens of Har Ganeth start training as executioners, but 10 seems young because Druchii don't reach adulthood until 100-150 years of age. I might suggest ammending that, maybe moving him from Har Ganeth to a warrior captain from Hag Graef. The history, mental description and everything else looks good. Just make sure he doesn't flaunt his religion around Khainites.

Well, I'll be posting on Cold Hearts later tonight, and Squeek, if you don't post before that, Jarek will find himself dragged along  Selendor, I'll be sure to give Kensek something to do so that you're not just brooding in your room, same for you Aeryith. Anywho, Rimner, feel free to start divide between Kaleth and Eckelis if you want.

Whightwolf, I should have your trial up either tonight or tomorrow night. Tom, Renai, and PRClimber, your trial is waiting on the SoC; however, if it's still waiting by next weekend then we'll work on an alternate trial for you and have that up ASAP. Rimner and Nemedil, there should be a RP opening up soon (next weekend or the weekend after). ChaosDreamer, we'll work on a trial RP for you as well, or possibly combine yours with one of the others. For the time being you might want to make sure that you apply the revamped version of Darcuz to all of his char sheet (ie, no executioner armor).

BTW, please check the website. Aeryith has graciously come up with a symbol/smilie for the guild, but we need opinions on it.

PS: In regards to the site, I should be getting some updates to it tonight or tomorrow.

Edit: Aelly, Akerith will also give Kathani something to do.

Aelly, feel free to post before Squeek/Teh Emo. Akerith would like to talk to her, and I'm sure that Nuirathil would like to...accomadate her. Aeryith, feel free to come out of hiding whenever. BTW, snapmaster and Selendor, try and post soon.

Edit: Timelinewise, Akerith telling Eckelis to see if he can find anything in the mess, and then going down and talking with Jarek and entering the Executioners' quarters is supposed to be right before Kaleth climbs upstairs and talks to Eckelis.

In the near future the RP scene will have a twist. Kaleth (Rimner), Anrahil (Nemedil), Retaii (Enlith), Aeryith (Aeriath), Akerith (me) will be going on a raid RP, starting off by dropping Orantus (PRClimber's assassin triallee) and Kaelos Tyr (a lordling char, which I'll use to make sure this trial-joint RP runs smoothly and stays directed) in the Old World to meet Balrick (Luckless Tom's noble retainer triallee) and the Sons of Chaos. The joint-RP with the SoC will be relatively small, and while many members of the guild are off raiding, this joint-trial RP will have Balrick 'politicizing' with the Sons of Chaos, whilst Orantus is on a mission to cause disruption in the Empire, assassinating a duke. Meanwhile, while those two RPs go on, Cold Hearts will continue, with Nuirathil (Nasim), Kathani (Aelly Synn), Eckelis (Snapmaster), Kensek (Selendor), Jarek (Squeek/Teh Emo), Salem (Whightwolf's noble retainer triallee), and Kerakesh (our current NPC Noble Retainer, played by me). Whightwolf's trial will take place through Cold Hearts, once the other two RPs, The Black Sails of Mourn, and Path to Perdition get under way.

If anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns about this feel free to contact either Nasim or myself, post here, or post on the website.

If you would like to take part in a different RP than the one you're currently set to be in post here, on our site, or PM one of the Fathers.

If you would like to try and make a temporary char to allow you to take place in multiple RPs (why anyone would be crazy enough to want to try that I have no clue; they'd have to be a complete idiot ), contact one of the Fathers.

Edit: BTW, Chaos Dreamer, we have yet to decide what we'll do for your trial so keep an eye out for any information we may post.

Folks,

If indeed ( as per speculation ) the Greenskins and the Druchii are allies against all the others in W.A.R. would you be looking for any greenskins ( Me ) in your guild ? And further if we are indeed gaing to be allied with Skaven in the expansion ( wild speculation ) would you be accepting any furballs ?

I'm looking to join an organized guild too beat the snot out of all others.

Ilairon
03-08-2006, 07:16 PM
Well, although the Druchii and the Greenskins will be allies of a sort in game, this is still a strictly Druchii guild. Now, I haven't seen too many Orc or Goblin guilds as of yet, but I believe there is one on these forums. I'd suggest you look here: http://www.warhammeralliance.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=790.

That said, as the Druchii and Greenskins may work together in game, the CoN may work with greenskin guilds in the future, most likely with joint RPs of some sort; however, a NAP seems like the most realistic setup between the Druchii and the Greenskins. Fluffwise just dealing with the tribes of chaos is a demeaning experience, so trying to talk with an Orc or Goblin would be unlikely. They wouldn't really be allies, but they've got similar aims and similar goals (of a sort) so they might occassionally be on the same side in a RP.

The same applies to Skaven.

So basically, to summarize my answer, the CoN may have a NAP with greenskins and furballs, but a full-fledged alliance is unlikely; if you're interested in a greenskin guild look here: http://www.warhammeralliance.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=790 and http://www.warhammeralliance.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=687&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Edit: Aelly, I'd say have Kathani respond to Nuirathil's summons. Akerith was just telling Jarek to bring her back inside because she seemed unhappy to be sent away. The only reason he sent her away in the first place was not for her safety or to keep her from seeing the murderer's victim, but because he was worried Nuirathil might let slip that the first murder victim was a taboo male sorcerer, and if the Coven/Convent learned that the Fathers had tried to side-step them they wouldn't be happy, which would place the Druchii sunshine happy funhouse aka the CoN in a bit of trouble, both with the High Sorceress and with Malekith.

Well, atm we're prolly looking for just one noble; if both applicants fit well in their trials then we may allow both to be nobles; however, if not one will likely get relegated to a lordling. The same applies for the positions of assassin and witch elf.

BTW, ChaosDreamer, I've an idea for your trial RP. I would like it to run very quickly because I'm hoping to fit you into Cold Hearts ASAP supposing you pass your trial. I will prolly get this posted before my next Cold Hearts post, just because that's the nature of the beast as it were.

Enlith and Aeriath: Akerith will be visiting both Aeryith and Retaii in my next post (no more torture scenes), which should shed some credence to Retaii's innocence, and allow you (Enlith) some more freedom of posting.

BTW, Selendor, I'm guessing Kensek would rather raid than keep a wary eye on all of the members of the guild and investigate the murders, am I right?

Name: Anorok Isuliame

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 602

Apparent Age: late 50’s

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Slaver/beast tamer

Appearance: Anorok is not the typical looking dark elf. When one says dark elf, people no matter where one comes from thinks predator type beauty. Anorok is the opposite. If it weren’t for all the scars covering his face and body, he might have been hansom. The years of being a beastmaster have not been kind. His few wrinkles are mixed with a network of scars. The most prominent scar on his face runs from the bottom of his right ear to the top left side of his head. There are few if any dark elves that find his appearance favorable to say the least. His height reaches 6 feet, and his slim, muscled form is nothing out of the ordinary. His eyes have more in common with the monsters he trains than that of his kin, and the hard gray orbs reflect an apathetic outlook most of the time. His hair matches his eye color, with the last few strands of black hair fading from existence. It is usually pulled into a ponytail when around other kin.
His clothes consist of black leather jerkin, pants, and boots. His jerkin is sleeveless, and he is usually seen wearing a long coat over it, similar to a trench coat. He used to wear gloves while handling animals and slaves, but he has since developed a habit of grinding his nails to fine points so that they resemble talons. His hands are slightly calloused as a result of not wearing gloves also.

Mental Description: Anorok is not quite there mentally. No one is really sure what caused him to become the way he is, but people are sure he has a dual personality. While normal he acts callous and calculating, though he is loyal, to an extent. He will pick who he thinks will be most successful on their way to the top, and then ally himself with them. In helping them he hopes that will give him enough leverage to gain a high enough position and keep it.
His other personality is one of rage and hate. It surfaces when things stop going Anorok’s way, though he does not notice it. When it takes control he lashes out verbally(and sometimes physically) at what he perceives to be the weakest of the party. He will close to never apologize afterwards.
The long number of years have brought him a enormous amount of experience of beast training and slaving. Though his brain is packed full of knowledge, he is plagued by forgetfulness at times, which frustrates him to no end, often causing him to blame it on others and occasionally rage on an unfortunate slave nearby.

History: In progress.

Skills: Bending large and dangerous beasts to his will. His killing prowess is nothing special, but his ability to keep slaves alive is of more importance. He has been rather successful with humans, but he delights more in elves and dwarves, for he finds he can get more out of them. He is ok at deception, and his schemeing skills are nothing to laugh at, though if he wants soething to get done, he brings a rather vicious looking beast with him or lets his reputation for slave treatment precede him.

Steed: Ratok, a rather vicious Cold One who killed his last mount, though he rides it onlyabout 50% of the time.

Goals: Further his position as a powerful beastmaster and establish the guild as one of the most powerful guilds of Naggaroth

Joining As: Beastmaster

Well any way I guess I could always try post my character.

Name: Ulion Merthion

Gender: Male

Age (actual and apparent): 250/20

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Executioner

Appearance: Ulion is a bit smaller then a normal size Elf. But still easy to point out in a big crowd of people. His face is stiff and you will properly never see a smile on his face and from time to time he has his face hidden so only the eyes can be seen. His body is muscular and he has a deep voice when he ever says something. He has dark blue eyes but if looking into them would be as looking into the dark emptiness. He has black hair but it’s always hidden behind his cloak or his helmet. Ones first impression of him is that even if he is small he is sure not the first one to pick a fight with neither sober nor drunk.

Ulion always carries a 2handed serrated blade on his back. It’s perfect for giving the final blow or cut through the armor to kill or just do injure his enemy. If the blade is stuck inside another person’s chest he just twists it to make a nice hole so he is able to loosen it and attack his next target. He also has a smaller but still deadly dagger that he can toss with almost 100% change of hitting or just use if his 2handed fails to do the job.

If not in battle he wears a dark grey robe under a light but strong metal vest that covers his shoulders chest and down to his thigh bone with a cloak to cover his back and his hair. In battle he has the robe under a chain mail and over the chain mail the vest and have protection parts on his arms and legs and wears dark glows

Mental Description: He is a passive person who doesn’t like to talk nor mingle with other people if he doesn’t have to. He is used to take orders from his old commander who was ruthless and a person who dint tolerated weakness all of this has rubbed off on Ulion. Ulion loyalty is first of all to Khaine and to his commander but the first sign of weakness in any way will end this loyalty until his trust to his commander is restored. He has no high thoughts of his enemy or people he doesn’t know what ever stand in his way will be struck down.

History (brief or long):
working on it !

Skills: He is skilled in spotting the weakness in the enemy and will use it to win. He is experience in combat one on one or bigger battles. He masters his 2hand weapon to the max making him a feared opponent against his enemies. He is fast on his feat and can run and fight for an unlimited amount of time and will never show any weaknesses (even if he do not have any).

Steed: He has a strong pack horse for travelling with large amount of items or to drag a wagon full of slaves.

Goals (short-term and/or long-term): Short-term: To find a new strong commander and a new lord to serve under for the upcoming war. Long-terms: To serve under a banner that shows great strength and is respected amongst the fellow guilds the world.

Joining As: Executioner

BTW: This is the first time I do something like this ever, so any guiding would be nice or any changes to my character that needs to be made will be taken with a happy smile :-D .

Well, Luckless Tom and PRClimber, Path to Perdition is up, and it's your trial RP. I'll guide it somewhat through the lordling Kaelos Tyr who's awaiting your arrival at the fire; if you want any specific information feel free to PM me. Our friends from the SoC will hopefully join in as soon as we're all at the fire.

BTW, this is set just prior to Cold Hearts Bleed Brightly.

Also, I'll try and post a char sheet for Kaelos soon enough.

For the purposes of description in case you work on a post before I get around to it, physically he's like your common Druchii, tall, fine features, black hair. He has auburn-colored eyes and sharp, shining teeth. His profferred weapon is a repeater crossbow, but he also has two short swords, the swords held in scabbards along his crossbelts, the repeater crossbow with his right hand. Armor-wise he wears silver chain and dark violet clothes over those, usually a robe or low-grade kheitan/khaitan. He is smart, calculating, and can speak Reikspeach as well as the various dialects and languages of the north. And he's been on this little errand for the Fathers, as it were, for quite some time, so he's a bit more uncouth.

Greetings, i wish to Join the noble Children of Naggaroth.

here is my character sheet for you to view at your discretion.

Name: Sinkilth “Swiftblade” Exthazzet II

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 412

Apparent Age: 29

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Assassin

Appearance: Swiftblade is of an average height in the eyes of common elves. Some believe this to be a disadvantage, but he fits in unnoticed to the majority of the population. He has slicked back black hair, with a streak of white across the left hand side, thus making him recognisable to those he knows. He has a very fine face, with no obvious scars or impurities, his ear on the right side though, has the lower lobe removed, due to his first and only mistake during a mission. Apart from that, he is rather handsome in the eyes of many. His muscles are finely toned and sculpted, from centuries of practising his trade.

He wears a tightly fitting grey tunic, with sharp needles at his wrists, joined together, but easily broken apart, to be thrown at the necks of targets. Black leather covers his chest, concealing a dagger attached to his left flank, underneath his arm. He wears a long, hooded cloak, that can change colour, if only subtly, to keep him concealed against say a dark maroon wall, which has moonlight brightly illuminating the room. It does not render him invisible, though with his skill, it might as well.
He wears black greaves and soft-leather black boots. Upon his back he carries a katana-like weapon, it’s shape being the only thing different. It is thinner at the bottom, then half-way up the blade, it goes forward on itself, much like a lightning bolt in design, then curves back to balance out the blade. When wielded with expertise such as Swiftblade’s it is deadly beyond comparison.
He carries a ceremonial long-dagger at his waist, for when he wants to play with his victims. And a longbow attached to a pack, which when going in for more “personal” missions, he leaves elsewhere, as not to burden himself.

Mental Description: Swiftblade very rarely loses his cool. He takes every situation that unfolds in his stride and adjusts his tactics accordingly.
He keeps mainly to himself, and will only open up to his old friends, and colleagues. Yet that in itself, is a rare occurrence. When he does lose his temper, he becomes reckless, this is how he lost his ear-lobe. Often to cover up his emotions, he will give sarcastic and satirical comments.

Brief History: Taking up the trade of his father, Sinkilth Exthazzet, the first of that name, Swiftblade learnt at the hands of a true master. His father was not famous, as the truly deadly assassins were never known amongst the common folk. He had only offered his services to the High Born’s for “diplomatic” reasons.

When on one of these “diplomatic negotiations” for an anonymous High Born, he accompanied his father. Yet his target knew he was coming, and slew him as he entered the window. Hearing his father’s scream, something which he had never heard before, yet instinctively knew it was his. Swiftblade, at the tender age of 119, leapt through the window. He felt searing heat as the Noble’s blade cut his ear. Swiftblade impaled the noble on his sword and hung his body from his window and wasn’t seen for a few centuries.

During this time, he learnt the art of hunting, stalking his prey, archery, and advanced sword fighting, should a fight ever break out between him and a target.

Now, he returns to offer his services to the Children of Naggaroth for “Diplomatic” solutions as well as full time employment as an unseen body guard.

Skills: Swiftblade is a master of hunting, that is, living in the wilderness, tracking animals, setting traps, living in solitude. He wields his katana-like weapon with an unmatched mastery, and can just as skilfully utilise his long-dagger at the same time. He can become almost invisible, many of his targets never knew he was with them until they looked down and saw his sword through their hearts.

Steed: Swiftblade does not own a horse, instead he prefers to steal other’s and ride them until they no longer provide a swift flight.

Goals: Further mastering his already talented art, seeing that no harm comes to his employer, whilst at the same time, cutting off the hand that would threaten his employer.

Joining As: Assassin.

And Tzathiel, as far as I know, "Assassins" are trained by the Temple of Khaine from practically birth and are not self taught. I suggest a little more research into assassins and making some changes to the character, or coming up with a different character. Also, look HERE (http://www.criticalhit.co.uk/content/view/86/49/) for some info on Dark Elves, as there seems to be quite a few problems with the character on the fluff-side.

Otherwise, the profile is pretty good, and I'm sure that both Ilairon and I would be happy to give you trial after you get some info on druchii background. Also, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask here, or PM or IM either me or Ilairon.

However, the Witch Elves do break into the houses and drag away their victims to the temple of Khaine where they are ritually sacrificed to the Bloody-Handed God. Newborn babies, however, are offered to the Lord of Murder in the Cauldron of Blood. Most perish this ordeal but those who survive are taken by the temples where they are inducted as assassins.

This is all that is said on assassins. Basically, Newborns taken in "Death Night" and survive the cauldron of blood can be inducted as assassins.
This is not to say there are no exceptions. By all rights, "Swiftblades" father may have been one of the newborns taken in death night. And though he could pass on no more, he passed on his knowledge of the deadly art to his son.
I see no need to change my character's story.

then maybe just change your story to reflect that. You're father wanted you to follow in his footsteps and taught you some things..or the like.

My, we're a little antsy, aren't we? :p

Well, before we can consider you for a trial there are quite a few changes that need to be made about your character.

As mentioned, no druchii in normal society can just decide to become an assassin. As it mentions in the Critical Hit article, only children who are placed in the Cauldron of Blood and survive become assassins. Also, the katana-like weapon has to go, as any weapon of such exotic design is pretty farfetched. The bow is also out of character for a druchii, as they tend to only use repeater crossbows. After all, bows are what their hated cousins use. ;)

In general, it seems you need to become a little more versed in Druchii background, so I suggest looking at this SITE (http://www.druchii.net/cop/articlelist.html) for more info. Also, rooting around the internet produces plenty of info, as I tend to do that to find any new fluff.

Sorry that we have to say for now you can't be considered a trialee, though we'd be happy to accept you after you change the character a bit. Of course if you have any questions about specifics on background, you can PM, E-mail, or IM either me or Ilairon. Good luck with the revision. :)

...very well

oh but for the record, my sword was in similar design to these, weilded by the dark elves.
http://www.danscottart.com/images/ReaptheWhirlwind.jpg
And did you read the part about learning his art from his father? I will change his father's past so that it was him taken in death night, though not wanting to have his son go through what he did, he began instructing him personally. As an assassin, he also finds repeater crossbows to be too cumbersome. thats why he uses a bow. afterall, it really doesnt matter what weapon an assassin uses, its if he gets the job done. Thats all ill say in my defence.

Rimner
03-28-2006, 09:28 PM
Personally the weapons in that photo looked less like katanas and more like a Draich, which is pretty much like a Druchii greatsword. It is very understandable that you perhaps didn't know what that weapon was called so you used the name of a similar weapon. I've done it before.

The fact that your character was taught by his father is also strange to me. The above post suggests that his father did not want him to go through what he went through- indicating that his father 'loved' him. According to my understanding there is no such thing as love in Druchii society. It is also highly unlikely that someone who has been trained by the Temple of Khaine would so willingly share its secrets- again suggesting his father 'loved' him so much that he would defy the Temple; which is basically suicide. If you can find me a case of 'love' in Druchii society I'd be glad to see it.

It would also seem to me that a small, compact repeater crossbow would be less cumbersome than a full length bow. Sure its a little heavier, but its smaller- more discrete, and you don't have to carry a seperate quiver to hold arrows- the arrows are contained within the device. If your a trained assassin you shouldn't mind a little extra weight.

I suppose I can't disagree with the last part.

But anywho thats my two cents.

When are we going to raid Ulthuan?

Ilairon
03-28-2006, 10:27 PM
I may make some comments of my own, but Rimner covered them pretty well. Pure Druchii don't really have love. Lust, yes. Love, not so much. Adepts of the Temple are taken as newborns to young childs, but there wouldn't be Druchii who already had children of their own taken to the cauldron and then coming out and receiving training as an assassin, nor would they pass their skills to another. Different assassins are rivals as much as different nobles contest for power and wealth; they try to hone their own skills so that they are better and in higher stead within the Temple, and if they get the chance to cause another assassin to sink (so to speak) they'll most likely take it (within prudence). Assassins will typically also not bear children. While there's a BL novel that accounts for an assassin lusting for a female noble, overall it's not that likely that you'll have an assassin birthing a child. Certainly, an assassin wouldn't teach his child, but he wouldn't try and protect him from his fate - most likely the assassin father would leave the child as a , especially because having a child would lower his status with the Temple.

Btw, if you're looking for something quick to fire, with decent penetration, not cumbersome, and easy to conceal you might look into a hand crossbow. They're smaller than repeater crossbows and regular crossbows, usually either held in the hand like its larger brethren or worn along the wrist. In the latter it's easy to conceal and you can wear one on each wrist; however, they are typically single or double-shot only, and they often use darts instead of bolts.

There's no real rule against long bows, but Druchii, especially in the cities, would have more use for short bows, crossbows, repeater crossbows, and hand crossbows than a long bow or composite long bow.

Rimner: Well, soonish. Sorry that's horribly vague, but I can't say for sure; indeed it will depend, somewhat, on one of the trials. Anyway, you look like you're going for the penthouse suite in the dungeons and the wonderous masochistic pleasures that that entails.

Selendor

For me, it's not so much an issue of emotions...it's an issue of how Assassins are trained and brought up.

My understanding is that Khaine "chooses" each Assassin, and that the children who survive the ordeals of Death Night and the temple are chosen by him. Assassins represent an aspect of Khaine if I'm not mistaken...so somebody trained by an assassin would still just be a really stealthy warrior at best. I could be wrong.

I agree with everything said above. On the subject of a longbow being less cumbersome than a repeater crossbow, I think not. One, you have to carry a whopping great bow-stave around with you. Two, to avoid your bowstring becoming slack you nomally have to carry it around seperately in an oiled cloth. Three, you need to carry a quiver to hold your arrows.

Four, the draw on a longbow is somewhere in the region of 250 pounds. Do you have any idea how strong you would have to be to use it effectively at close range (ie. nocking an arrow, drawing it and firing it before you target was upon you)? This would also mean your character would have one arm horrificly muscled, and the other normal (medieval longbowmen ended up with half of their bodies hunched like an apes).

All in all the longbow is a weapon suited to large, open battlefields where it can be used to fire long range volleys at the enemy, not in the confined streets of the Druchii cities or someones bedchambers.

well i still dont know that much about Dark elfs but after what i know a crossbow is heaveyer then a long bow but easyer to carry and if u only need to 1 shoot a person or u have a crossbow that can fire more then 1 bolt per round it would be better and the small hand crossbow sounds awsome ;)

It's what youve all been waiting for, he's finaly ready....

Name: Nythorn

Gender: Male

Age (actual and apparent): early to mid thirties but with signs of greater age, 874

God Worshipped: Khaine in his aspect as the Iron Panther

Profession: Assassin

Appearance: Middling to short height for an elf at 6’3”, he has the traditional white skin and black hair of the elves of Naggaroth. His eyes are a dark steely grey, he seems to blink far less often than he should. He is a little broader than most elves and undoubtedly more muscled, the main difference it the way he moves, he does not so much walk as stalk like the wolf in the forest or the lion on the plain. He seems to radiate the calm of one who has absolute confidence in their own abilities, his body is decorated with a handful of scars from his long career and over his heart is branded the rune of Khaine.

Weapons: As with all his kin his body is as much a weapon as any blade, wire or bludgeon, any ‘weapon’ he adopts merely becomes an extension, an adaptation to the weapon that he is. He usually carries a long bladed knife, around ten inches in length and jagged in the Druchii style to disguise that it is a sword-breaker as well, also he often carries a number of throwing stars about his person, occasionally for those who it has been decreed must suffer he carries a hallucinogenic poison, he possesses a repeating crossbow though only uses it for assignments that require range and finally he possesses a longsword which he only uses against those he deems worthy of its attention.

These are just a sample of the weaponry and tools of his dark trade, but they are the ones he uses most often.

Clothing/Armor: He usually wears a sleeveless tunic of linen, loose black canvas breeches tucked into knee high boots, his forearms and hands bound in lengths of sea dragon hide, a silk scarf which can be lifted to cover his mouth and nose and a long, thick, deep hooded cloak, all of course are in shades of black and charcoal grey for the most part though he has been known to incorporate different colours for different scenarios, white and light grey for snow, greens and browns for forests and light browns and yellows for the desert, the vengeance of Khaine reaches far and its servants must be adaptable.

The only part of this which might count as armour is the sea dragon hide, this is highly resilient and though does not provide any protection against the mass and force of the weapon it is almost impossible to cut.

Mental Description: Maliketh is dedicated to Khaine in his aspect as the Iron Panther, he has a strong commitment to vengeance and is more than willing to give his life in his gods name should it be required, the private condition of course being that first someone must be fit to take it for him to give it. He is a little resentful of his age and the rising of younger assassins, particularly Shadowblade.

He does not really understand emotion and flagrant displays of genuine emotion confuse him. As for killing he rarely feels more than a satisfaction that he has completed a task, unless they have committed some great wrong against his people then there is a degree of anger.

He does have an innate distrust of Sorceresses born of the rivalry between the Temple and the Convent.

History (brief or long): Like most of his kind, Maliketh knows nothing of the family he was taken from on a Death Night so long ago and like most he does not know. He was born on that Death Night, the son of Khaine.

Since then his life has been hard as a life could be, he was trained and honed into a killing machine. There is no harder training regime than that imposed upon the assassins and he saw most of his compatriots die. It was another death night when he was merely seventy five that the signs chose for him the Iron Panther aspect and he began his true progression into the arts of death. While he was young he was held in much the same regard as Shadowblade is now, and as Urian Poisonblade was before him.

He protected the Druchii just as Khaine does as the Iron Panther does, slaying those who threatened Khaine’s children among his achievements were; The slaying of the Aghol warlord Jorgen and his Chosen who were about to lead an incursion into the Land of the Chill, he found and killed the Swordmasters Tethis and Calthas who were responsible for several counter assassinations in Clar Karond and butchered the population of a village in northern Chrace which, so the priestesses prophesized, would otherwise produce a great hero for the weak Asur. With all these he progressed further and further into Khaine’s art.

Recent years have seen the rise of the Children of Naggroth, the Hags in their wisdom, particularly since the Coven decided to assign a sorceress to the Children, that it is necessary to bind the guild to them, or at least prevent them from becoming pawns of the blasphemous sorceresses.

It was from this choice that they chose to send Maliketh to serve the Children, aid them in furthering their organizations power, and of course if they chose to act to far against the temple or become to closely entwined with the coven’s cause then… well a knife can cut it’s wielder.

Skills: Maliketh is an assassin of Khaine as such a mastery of all the arts of death from poison to sabotage it to be expected, along with an incomparable ability to negotiate rooftops, walls and alleys like a free runner, he is equally at home in a rural environment able to leap and run through trees like a wood elf.

Steed: Though he can ride he rarely takes the opportunity, preferring the options his own two feet provide.

Goals (short-term and/or long-term): Long term is always service to his God but in the short term this has been decreed to protecting and serving the Children, the Fathers in particular, as it has been hinted to him that his life is tied to theirs, if they should die then he too could be at the end of his service.

Welcome back Aelly, glad you're feeling better.

Whighty, looks good. I think we may insert your char into Path to Perdition with a small edit to the original post (Instead of Balrick and Orantus meeting Kaelos, it'll be Balrick, Orantus, and Malekith [the name might be the only bit that bothers me given a certain Witch King with the same name]). Anyway, I'll edit that now, and then you can post in the RP. Whether you want to start with interaction between Malekith, Orantus, and/or Balrick, you want to reflect on your journey and talk about how it was that you came under the employ of the CoN, or go meet Kaelos (and from what I can tell, some members of the SoC are already at the fire where you were supposed to meet Kaelos), or something else, that's up to you.

Sort of on that note, Aeriath, POST!!!

Also, Luckless Tom and PRClimber, the lack of activity doesn't bode well for your trials. Try and post in Path to Perdition within the week, and if you can't then please PM, MSN, or E-mail me.

On that note, here is a char sheet for Kaelos Tyr for those in Path to Perdition's benefit:

Name: Kaelos Tyr

Gender: Male

Age (actual and apparent): 457, appears 31

God Worshipped: Khaine

Profession: Lordling in the service of House Kelathon and the Children of Naggaroth

Appearance: Standing 6'2" he is tall with a light, yet powerful build. His fine features are often veiled beneath layers of grit and dirt from spending more than a century in the Old World. Going down to his shoulders, his black hair is long with streaks of blonde from dyes he often uses to masquerade as a wandering Asur in the cities and towns of the Empire. He has auburn-colored eyes and sharp, shining teeth.

Weapons: A repeater crossbow and two short swords. Scabbards along his crossbelts hold his swords, and he usually holds the repeater crossbow with his right hand. Typically the crossbow bolts are coated in a toxin designed to temporarily paralyze and numb the muscles, slowing down and incapacitating an opponent and making him an easier, more manageable target, especially useful if outnumbered.

Clothing/Armor: Kaelos wears a suit of silver chain over a lackluster blue-dyed human-hide khaitan. Over his armor, Kaelos wears a dark violet robe. His chain mail is with altered pauldrons and without a helmet or shield.

Mental Description: Kaelos is smart, calculating, and deceitful. His actions are measured with tact and prudence, and the meaning of his speech is often veiled beneath many layers of smoke and mirrors. His loyalty is first to himself, then Akerith, then the Witch King, and then the Children of Naggaroth.

History: Kaelos was a warrior captain in house Kelathon prior to Akerith's ascension to head of house, and when the Highborn took control, Kaelos manipulated his way beside his new lord, rising to the position of lordling of all of House Kelathon's warriors. Over the past century he has hidden himself within the Old World, serving House Kelathon and Akerith in various ways.

Skills: Kaelos is a skilled speaker who knows all of the Elven tongues, Reikspiel, and the various dialects and languages of the North. He is skilled with blades and his repeater crossbow. He is also skilled with using one blade in each hand.

Steed: Kaelos knows how to ride, and he will often steal steeds from barns and stables when the need arises.

I would seek service as a Druchii warrior, a loyal servent in your ranks.

Name: Vaelen Ruerl

Gender: Male

Actual Age: 348

Apparent Age: 27

God Worshipped: Khaela Mensha Khaine

Profession: Apprentice Weaponsmith, Basic Poison Brewing.

Appearance: Vaelen is relatively untistinguished, and common to his Druchii Brethern, he stands a respectable 6'1, smooth, pale white skin, void of any mark, or unique attribute. Vaelen always found it strange to have never experienced disease, or sickness like many of his peers. Vaelen has smooth, dark black mane of hair, that stops about center between his shoulderblades, and steady eyes, with a slight dark blue iris. Vaelen has a deceptively strong build, slightly larger then most his brethern, he still retains his Druchii elegence.

Vaelen carries a single long sword, interchangable as a single or two handed weapon. Passed down from his deceased father, the sword bears many runes crafted into the hilt, a reminder of his father's honor among the lords and nobles. Vaelen also carries a pair of wickedly curved daggers of his own design, and has sharp spines crafted into his plate vambraces, a suprise weapon with great effectiveness in close quarters. The daggers and sword are held in place by a thin, narrow crossbelt, and the long sword includes a scabbard.

Personally instructed by his father, Vaelen knows the frailty of the Druchii body, and was taught, the best defense is a deceptive and overpowering offense. Vaelen's armor reflects this, he wears an ultra light aketon (padded combat dress), with an interlinked chainmail vest and skirt, or dalakoi. Vaelen prefers not to wear a helmet, preferring a ceremonial artifact mask, always kept locked away in the house. A death blow to the head would hardly be prevented by a composite helmet. Should an enemy be allowed to attack, and penetrate the parrying capability, perhaps a swift death is deserved. Vaelen wears plate gauntlet and vambraces, extending to just before the elbow, adorned with deadly spines. A plate leg harness is used, including flexible upper leg armor, and plate greaves, with an inscribed rune of Kaine, annointed on the lower portion of the leg plate. Lastly, Vaelen has a plate breastplate, Helmet with visor with a gorget, which he uses when practicing his horsemanship.

Mental Description: Vaelen is loyal to the point of death, he was instructed to abandon his emotions, and will perform any task with effeciency and ruthlessness. Vaelen will remain calm in any situation, and only the appearence of his asur cousins can stir his blood to boiling hatred. Vaelen also bears an apparent dislike for the followers of pleasure, or Slaneesh as they call their God. Chaos is simply a creator of tools, and the single minded path of pleasure is a menace to Malekith's Will, and Druchii society. Vaelen's loyalty lies with Malekith, and his lords, their decisions unquestionable, Vaelen has pledged a life of servitude to The Witch King, and the destruction of the asur. If there's any emotion that angers Vaelen, it's empathy and love, their only purpose is to cause weakness, and lead to defeat. Lastly, Vaelen seeks to honor his family, and avenge his father's death and dishonor at the hands of the asur. Vaelen prefers to speak very rarely, and often finds himself in solitude, he believes strongly that actions speak louder then words.

History: Vaelen was born in the capitol city of Naggaroth, son of Veniceen Reurl, Dread Knight of the Witch King. His Sister, Selane, was taken in the night of her first year, althogh Vaelen assumes her death, he feels she may be alive, and serving the Blood God in ways he can only imagine. His mother is unknown, and unexplained by his father, Vaelen was reminded, "You and your sister were created in my moment of weakness, your mother will remain dead to you, forever." He and his father remained very close throughout his young and adolescent years, Vaelen often remembers the expiditions his father brought him on, and the strange trials his father put him through.

(Switching to first person, easier to explain)
This is where things become very strange, the many trials and expeditions my father brought me on seem to have prepared me for something inevitable, although I do not know what. From my very oldest memories, my father exposed me to poisons, and introduced them slowly into my body. It is the only explanation I have for my resistence to diease, and any foreign agents. Strangely, while the chemical agents put into my body gave me a defense against disease, it also allowed me to enter the Cold One pens. I know now that the noxious scent Cold One riders must apply before approaching was injected into my very blood stream. While it seems that only certain Cold Ones allow me to approach, it has the greatest effect in the dens of my Father's formal Cold One breed. I was also exposed to numerous treatments of cruelty, perhaps most evident in my exposure to the Corsairs. These ruthless seamen treated me, a young Druchii brought up in nobility with little more respect then the slaves in the bowels of their ships. In turn, I developed a sense of malice towards those below myself, that is, all living things below the veil of Druchii nobility. It dawned on me while I was scrubbing the deck with my bare, now raw hands, that in this world, there is no justice except from the blade of a sword. To survive, you must be ruthless, calculating and cruel, compassion is the greatest weakness. In the end, I spent some 70 human years at sea with the Corsairs, much of that time in absence of my father. The corsairs did teach me one thing, the basic applications of poison in coating weapons. From the bowels and blood of unspeakable horrors in the Nagarythe, deadly poisons can be brewed, second only to the venom used by witch elves and assassins of Khaine.

My father's untimely death came from an ambush during a blighted isle raid. Asur Shadow warriors destroyed my father, filled his body with arrows, and cast his remains into the sea, denying me of his body. Now, my blood which boils with the hatred for my cousins has developed a personal vendetta. My hatred is no longer inherited, but a real emotion, the only emotion I can feel anymore.

Skills: Vaelen is exceptionally skilled in the use of swords. Learned from the trials by death against Druchii Corsairs, Vaelen can carve through opponents as if they were air. Vaelen also has an affinity for Cold One's, his father a Dread Knight, exposed him to the noxious scent, and permenently infused it into his blood. Vaelen was never one to deal with politics, he relies on his cunning and ruthless combat skill instead of wit and tongue. Unfortunealtly, his lack of grace in politics denies him the nobility to train as a knight. Vaelen hates ranged weapons, only the throwing range of his daggers could be counted as such a disgraceful weapon. Vaelen prefers to kill his opponents as close range, so his enemies know the face of death. Finally, he has a basic knowledge in Swordsmithing, enough to create druchii swords and daggers, but far from the legendary knowledge of the Ghrond craftsmen.

Steed: Vaelen uses a black warsteed, Vorheed, for tasks ranging from basic transportation to single ventures to lands far to the south and west.

Joining as: A simple warrior within your ranks, and loyal servent to whatever competant lordling may command me.

Well, well, well. A walking toad thinks he is going to stomp the dark elves. Watch yourself wart face, or you'll end up as a banner hanging on the wall of our guild. You don't know who you're messing with. So why don't you be a good little green slime and stick to the gutter you were born in.

The savages of the Northern Waste are more understandable than the dung eating slime that just attempted to communicate with us... I think green would offshoot the color of the walls in our guildhall though.

Yes but material is so very durable, makes great banners...

But surely Orcs would be of more use being herded in Ulthuen... we can use them like the common hounds they are.

You do know he's still in crossbow range. I could put a bolt through his eye now if you really want. Perhaps I could fashion his hide into a cloak? Yes, rub it down with a little mud and it would be perfect...

Why would we want to 'stomp' on you you foul little sub-elven creature we have nice shoes, why would the chosen people of Khaine decide to staine themselves so?

Now, your irksome creature, begone lest we degin to use you as slaves, rather that mere chaff on the winds of war to distress our foes. Learn your place in the world or you will be taught your place.

OOC: I have to admit I like this guy

On top? on top of what exactly? A putrid mound of your own excriment perhaps, the food chain of fungi, but as a civilisation you and your kind are an insult. If you truely wish to learn somthing of the art of death then persist in your idle threats. Your ill begotten race's new found 'glory', though I hesitate to use such a word for battling mere dwarves, is based entirely on the whims of our king.

You are the knife in the hands of the butcher, the poisen in the assassin's sleave, the axe in the woodsmans hand. Nothing more.

Deal with it.

But if you wish, as you will in time, to prostrate your selves before the glory of our master then, we may permit you. I humbaly request you do this before you exhaust the patience of my less acomidating masters.

How am I supposed to remedy the esoteric nature of my vocabulary to such an extent that a mere peon of the evolutionary scale could comprehend it’s magnitude? Never mind that, believe what you will rodent. ‘gork’ or whatever pile of your own faeces you wish to pray too, it is of no matter, nothing you think or wish is of any matter. Perhaps you can be enriched beyond your primitive ways perhaps not, it is of little consequence one way or another you will serve. Whether you will it or not.

You do not, thankfully, need to understand your role in our king’s plan but you will follow it no matter your own humble misconceptions. Your belief in your own superiority is ironic and occasionally useful but if you irk our kind much more we will find it expedient to break it.

When we invade the isle.. we could push him and his dim witted minions infront to get a good sense of how far their crossbows will reach... He gets to fight and we get to oberserve them being slaughterd while our cousins get short of breath and we ride in for the slaughter...

Go make yourself useful for the time being... read a book or two

Perhaps it would be wise for you to take your megalithic Orc brain and its encompassed vocabulary elsewhere, and rid us of your incessant mumblings.

What do we have here: a pack-mule who wants to be master? How amusing. Where are my manners? Welcome...Bloodtusk - your smell precedes you. How you found your way here would interest me, but I am afraid that your...interesting oration would be wasted; indeed, your time would be better spent working in the Dark Forests, or perhaps providing some sport for the Cold One Knights in the arena - I hear the nauglir are restless; if you lack a purpose we could always paralyze you. Dread Father Nuirathil always enjoys a new playtoy to test his...communication methods on; if not, I suppose we could always feed your corpse to the slaves.

[OOC]Hello there, Bloodtusk. Greetings, though, I'm not entirely sure why you're posting here: do you want to join the Children of Naggaroth, or do you represent a guild that would like an alliance with ours? If the former - and pardon my callous response - but our guild is purely Druchii; if the latter then we would be interested in speaking with the leaders of any guild wishing an alliance, NAP, or some other relation, though there's no guarantee that we would agree to an alliance.

Now then, in other news, the RPs seem to be full of life ;) I'll try and get a post up for Cold Hearts before the weekend comes to a close. I posted in Path to Perdition, so hopefully we can get that moving. The main plot for the assassins and most of the SoC members should kick off once Spirit/Giggles posts. Spoiler/Hint: It involves assassinating a Duke:twisted:

Crtical, Nasim and I will look over your character sheet ASAP, and if it looks alright we may create a new trial RP for you or add you into a pre-existing one.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone use so many Z's before in my life! I'm actually quite impressed!

and since I'm bored (not bored enough to look through the rp mind you ;) ) I'll do a bit of dancing....well, not actual dancing....yet. ;)

Tis when Dark Rider ride that lying elf kin die.
But when foolish tongue of Orc does spit, so shall he find his life forfeit.

So run away you little thing, before you find us wondering
Why it is you're even here, for we'll skin you alive; foot to ear!

I thought id give myself a little OOC background. I've been playing the warhammer tabletop for about 7 years now, since i was about 11, almost exclusively dark elves with a little chaos lineup also. I have never traditionally done a RP guild before, I played lineage II for 2 years, and have been playing WoW since release. I just thought the warhammer backstory and enviornment is so perfectly set up for RP, it can't be passed up. Compared to other MMO's, such as Lineage, which is a PvP, "trash talk" sort of game.
Also, Bludtusk is my younger brother, who also has been playing the tabletop for about 5 years, he is obviously posting here for comedic reasons, and a possible in-game sort of relationship, although I expect him to post about that soon. He played orcs/goblins, lizardmen, and skaven, and he's pretty good at all their grammar.

Thanks for looking at the app. hope to talk to you guys soon, hope we didn't cause too much trouble in your forums!

foinly, an evil elf boy dat iz smartz! Bludtusk waz gittin tired o' all dem oda elf boyz, dumb az a troll dey waz! Bu' dis un gotz zome smartz, eez still uzin zome o' dat tricky tawk tho! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH HH!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOC: Critical demanded I post some info, and be civilised for a bit. So, as Critical said, I'm his younger brother, I've been playin Warhammer for 7 years (Not 5!), and have played Empire, Skaven, Orcs and Goblins, and Lizardmen, and became proficient at all their dialects. I played Lineage II on and off for a year, and have been playing WoW for a little over a year. I have been posting for comedic reasons, and because all the other Orc guilds aren't true to 'Da orky way.' They try to add tactics, but orcs already have their tactics. (Back to Bludtusk): Yooz boyz gotz ta know 'bout da orkz way o' gittin da job dun fazt. Goez loik dis: da snotz git in 'n dy at it, den the gobz git in 'n pokez at it, wit der sharp woody tingz, 'n den da boyz git in der 'n stompz it all wit der big feetz! Deez oda orkz tink der taktikz iz betta, weez gunna show dem!
OOC: So basically: the other orc guilds aren't orcs. They make up these stories, but orc warlords got one story: get to the top of the tribe, beat other tribes, then make a
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHH HHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
So, while waiting for a REAL orc guild to be made, I thought I'd shake things up with 'yooz evil elf boyz.'
If I ever make a guild, Children of Naggaroth will be at the top of our priorities for an alliance... provided we don't smash you first! :p

Name: fel'an
Gender: male
Age-actual: 136
Apparent: 23
God Worshipped: Khaine
Profession: Assasin
Appearance: look to bottom
Weapons: Set of shurikans, Pair of sai, Claws, Garotte
Clothing/Armor: A Large black robe, hooded and instilled with icons.
Mental Description: below?
History (brief or long): look to bottom
Skills: Assasination, lockpicking and wilderness skills
Steed: Alasent
Goals (short-term and/or long-term): To astablish himself as somebody again{me have fun ^_^}

*ooc: this is a discription and it may be a bit rusty, havent rped in a while :(*

Breathing hard, fel'an stopped in a side alley. How did they find him, how did they know...

The guards voice rang out behind him. Standing over a corpse with a bloody dagger, fel'an dodged the first swipe of the guard and dropped to the cobblestone road, drawing His two sai from their consealed position. Dancing with death, He moved with the agility and speed only a druchii can have, decapacitating the body.
As He finished the rites of passage on the bodies, He heard the ring of footsteps approaching and dived to the ground. Seeing the dead bodies, the patrol continued down the alley. Knowing there was no escape, fel'an stood, as he did-drawing 3 shurikans which hit their mark. They subdued him and took him to the cells.

ooc: *cut a long bad? story short ill cut to the chase ;) *

He had been tortured within an inch of his life. His flesh was torn off by hot pokers and knives, and part of his right arm was cut to the Bone.
As He ran, arm hanging heavily beside him, He heard the hooves on the dirt path and dived. Feeling sleep overtake His torn body, He piled his weapons beside him.

He awoke to the sounds of chanting and mumurs, the smell of incense and blood mingled with sweat. He was tied to a raised dias, with many robed figures surrounding the platform on thier knees, praying. He saw a priest walk over, and nothing more

He was lying in a barn of somesort. He was wearing a flowing black robe and had a large sack behind his head. He checked inside, it contained his weapons and food.
Looking at himself, he could see bone showing in many places, but when he touched it, he felt no pain. He would make a new name for himself.....yes...."fleshless".

occ: *and with that i am done! :P email me if i need more
