With all the guilds going on I was just curious to see ho wmany people would play a character from one guild against their character in another guild should the two guilds fight.

Usually, on the other forums, my characters have all had intertwined stories and they all knew each other. My Sons of Chaos character however has never met any of them, and should the SoC be involved in a fight with anyone nearby, Rabbitman would no doubt take to the cultist with his crossbow. Unless there is a strong RPed reason for them not to fight, it wouldn't make sense to avoid it.

All mine are linked anyway, so I welcome cross-overs :P

as a note, yes i do it all the time. its a good way to control a portion of a story in that you can overplay or power play aspects that need or should be without the risk of anyone getting upset. the real world and warhammer world isn't always balanced and sometimes things will be onesided. using both of your characters is a good way to portray that without risking anyones ire.

All mine have met in some way, but they're all mates so I wouldn't need to. It'd be weird to fight Draco vs Jakob, Josef or any of the others... I don't know who I'd root for.
Nah that's a lie, Draco all the way. But still, I suppose I'd do it if the circumstances were right.

Sure, why not? Finally some characters equally awesome as mine to take a scrap with.

Seems like most of you (so far) wouldn't mind pitting your characters against one another. Personally I dunno if I could do it. I wouldn't want to have to choose between my characters. However, if guilds where I had characters were to collide I would do my best.

You don't always have to pick one over the other, having both characters as ones you have used many times, whose tricks. strengths and weaknesses you know so well, you can choreograph a very intricte and exciting fight where neither comes out as victor, thus fuelling a respect for each other and a deep rivalry to boot!

Heh, well I know who wins when all of mine meet, because it's all planned for :P
ASAIK, only two other people on here know who wins out in the end :D

also remember that a loss in a major fight is far more character developing than a win. injuries, scars, bitter hatred, sorrow. its much more memorable to have written out the story with other people than to simply come up wtih a story on your own.
anyone can write "my character had a tragic past"
its much different when other characters experience your characters tragic moment with you. now you can play on other writers to create a much more emotional story.
