Hello,

I was curious at to what extent Orc Role players will take their avatars, and guilds?

I intend on playing orc, and feel that RPing may give me a little bit extra to my mmorpg experiance, but I was curious as to how far you take it?

Do you constantly talk in "da boyz language?" or just grunt and what not?

How do you generally go about your day to day needs of say asking for a heal in combat or a trade? Do you RP then?

Im just curious, if anyone has any suggestions and explanations on how far they go and why id be greatful! Thanks

Well Da Boyz Tribe talk in da orcy but thats only for /s speech etc, our guild chat will be exclusively ooc because orc talk in generally daunting and can get annoying.

Now as far as grunting and waaaghing randomly we will probably do alot of that, we will try immitating orcs and goblins as much as possible.

When it comes to everyday behaviour in public we will act like all good orcs should, being afraid of people who are really bigger then them and squishing the shorties and feeling no remorse or pity.

Asking for heals and stuff will probably be kept for ooc, mostly because you really shouldn't try making much sense out of game mechanics they are there and thats pretty much that. Anyway shamans are a blessin from gork and mork, there healing to us gives uz da power to kill mor stuntiez an' oomies in gork an' morks name.

When it comes to trading, think a couple of savages scrounging for shiney bitz, we act like we are fighting but the trade commences as usual this also goes for general animosity between my guild itself and random orcs and goblins in the area.

Last but not least we act pretty ferocious to the other races aswell, even the ones that are allied with us, although we physically can't hurt them (due to game mechanics) we can pretty much overcome that by treating them as our puns and slaves, because in the end thats what they really are :P.

Orcs will probably be much like each other.. all brutal and well.. not very intelligent.

Ofcourse orcs can act diffrent and talk diffrent.

Could be nice to join an orc tribe with PvP RvR in RP style..

Well, Da Warpath, is a large roleplaying guild that has a huge amount of members over on their forum (one of which is myself) we talk in the Orc accent but im sure it may be permissable to say something OOC if the need arrises.

hey if you arent part of a guild why dont you sign up?
follow my sig to the site, go to the forum, and go to the Warhammer online sheet. you will see a signup there.

I will probly make a few macros for certain situations with Ork speech, stuff like when attacking I will probly yell "WAAAAGH", when greeting other players or when the healer is being attacked.

But not all the time, I think it would get old reaaallly fast.

Yeah, roleplay while in the middle of pvp combat may not be the best idea.

Obviously, WAAAGH an' kill'em macros will be the best option :p.

I'm guessing we'd Waaagh before we charge into them, hmmm in the middle of fights we can RP of where others are heading, so it would be like RP tactics and RP when you win and all of them are dead on your feet to show character that you conquered them. :D

In my opinion I think Da Boyz is the best RP guild and soon it will go to tremendous amount of people due to the fact of being the best Greenskin RP Guild. ;D

Gorgeraz Shoutzmuch is the reknown master of Thur One Trew Clan: he's the only member, the only true member. That's why it's Thur One Trew Clan. There would have to be many trews for it to have any more.

One thing i'm worried about with orc rping is people trying to write as difficult as possible . I mean yes orcs do have accents and they do say things oddly but if you look at the dawn of war subtitles for the warboss it really isn't that hard to understand.

I think my eyes will burn out of there sockets after a few months of seeing people overdo orc speach.

Well I won't be saying the important stuff for my guild in orcish, even if I did I would generally make a translated version of what is being said if its so important :P.
