Warrior Priest

From what I know right now I would play a Warrior Priest if I decided to play an Empire character, though I can't say for sure since I don't know what the other classes are.

I plan on playing a warrior priest unless they get pidgeon hold into a healing role. I want to bash head in the name of Sigmar, not just slap my group mates on the butt (with the execption of a few cute she elves of course). So if the warrior priest is too much priest and not enough warrior then I will play the Empire's heavy tank (if they have one, if not, then it is an Ironbreaker for me.)

I've been planning on playing a Warrior-Priest from back when I first heard of the first Warhammer Online.

I've just always loved the artwork of Warrior-Priests, they have a very unique and colorful look. Plus, the backround and mythos of Sigmar and His priests is also interesting, and I like big hammers. So, Warrior-priests just appeal to me in so many ways.

At first i was planning on playing an orc for a change..then chaos seemed cool, then i switched to dwarfs. And now im thinking about Empire:( :(

I think Warhammer should tack that in BIG letters somewhere on the official site. I see a LOT of posts saying "I hope I don't have to sit around and spam heals to my groupmates all the time :(" and then someone else says something like the above quote.

It's one of my favorite things about WAR. It makes the "healing classes" so appealing.

I think it sounds like it'll be a really cool career, but I'm hoping to get more info on it. If it turns out to be great, it would make a good addition to my small army of alts.

Warrior Priest or Bright Mage here...Knight would be cool but after being a tank in WoW I got to diversify.

Warrior Priests will definatly heal, they can in the TT and the new Warhammer RTS.

They will also most definatly unleash cans of whoop . Not one can, but a many cans. Chaos beware.

Gah, I'm being torn and torn some more. Maybe, like the guy at the bottom of the first page, I'm weak.

I've been rp'ing for fun at the beginning, just characters that won't be in game. Then I switched to high elves, characters that would probably be in game. Now I'm starting to get seriously bored with the way they play and I'm thinking of making a warrior priest..

Oh well, I'll roleplay this guy in the great masquarade ball and see how he goes. If he's pleasant, I'll make him my main. If not, I remain high elf as I'm never going to be one of the many guys who have a hat and fire fetish. ( Yes, the witch hunters ) ;)

If I was to post up a character sheet here, would you guys rate it on lore and so forth? I've very little experience when it comes to The Empire lorewise. Hell, the only fantasy army book I've got is dwarfs and that's the old edition, heh.

None of the Empire classes look interesting to me really, especially this one. I would have prefered being a plain ol' Greatsword, or some military guy.

However, I will make a Bright Wizard alt.

I will most likley at some point make a Warrior Priest as an alt, but my main without a doubt will be a Witch Hunter. Less armor, even more of a bad attitude, pistols, and hot irons are teh pwnage.

Indeed . Warrior priest is the class i like the most and i cant wait till i can finally start one. I really like what they stand for and i've wanted to play such a character with such potential for long. Especially after reading the class description from Mythic (in february's newsletter).
