Since I am a caster at heart, I've been awaiting the news of any new caster/mage news. Now with the release of the first two Chaos classes, I've got something new to look forward to. Now the real qustion is....which will have more draw for me. Chaos or Dark Elves.

Seriously though I can't believe anyone has difficulty choosing between forces Chaos and outcast elves. For a pure caster I would look more closely at an Empire Bright wizard, unless you have your heart set on Destruction then you go with the easy choice of chaos sorcerer :)

I've prepared a list of the pros and cons of the Tzeentch sorcerer for you. Hopefully this will help you make your decision.

Pros
You get to fly around on a disc all the time.
If you see someone you don't like, you can destroy him with magic.
Diversity. You have the option of destroying someone you don't like with fire or lightning.
You won't trip in your robe, because you're standing still - your disc does the movement.
A couple of different color light bulbs on your disc and spin - you're the disc-o, and the centre of attention. You'll be invited to a party in many dungeons.

Cons
People will ask you for rides. A lot. And some of the people are huge and wear a ton of armor. Do the math.
You'll hit your head a lot when going through doors. But you do have a helmet on.
Laws of traffic. Your disc may be subject to speed restrictions and you can't use the sidewalks. But then again, at least you're not a dwarf, and less subject to FWIs.
What if someone swipes your disc? Is there a disc alarm on it? Insurance? The list goes on.

Yes, destruction all the way for me. For whatever reason, I've always been drawn to the darker sides of games...lol.

I bealive I have the same problem as you: The pure cruelty of the Dark Elves or the unstoppable destructive power of Chaos.

Both look very good, I cant wait to see what the "healer" class will be for Chaos since I think not many chaos players will play that class. Those who choose Chaos will propably go for the destructive power of the Chaos Warrior or Sorcerer, since they are the most iconic classes of the faction (or what... ?)

My main reason for choosing the destructive side is that at some point they are bound to release a expansion that contains my sweet Skaven and then I would preferably already have some friends on the Destruction side :)

They always release it on a Friday, if you have not noticed. So I would expect tomorrow considering it is the last Friday of this month. Dont get your panties in a bunch here now. ;)

Moving to Chaos forum.

Axxar : -Flying around on a disc all the time is not confirmed. Flying around on a disc IS in, but we dont know if its from the start, a spell feature, a mount feature, or only a high end feature. I personally will be irritated if its from the start and permament.
