Yowza. Female dwarves in their dozens and obviously in the game. And boy, do they look awesome.

Although, they do look like they've lost some of their dwarvenly pudge.

Excellent find!
And yes, looks like some pudge was removed :-\ wonder why...
Ah well, they look like a real dwarf woman should! They look like they could split a skull or two open!
Nice find.

Well, i have one issue with them so far - they don't look like woman but rather like young girls! :???: Overall i still think making them playable was a bad idea. :p
I really am surprised how cool they look. I had decided I probably wouldn't be playing dwarfs long ago because alot of games make the females look just so..... round or goodness knows the L2 Dwarf women are wrong on so many levels  . I think the WAR female dwarfs look fantastic and I will be playing one for sure eventually. I don't think they look like young girls? Young women sure but not young girls. How young are you thinking they look? I don't want wrinkles in an MMO. Too many of those in real life thank you very much ;)

They look good, save for one aspect. They appear to be perpetually impregnated! Some of that massive gut needs to be migrated northward; less gut - more bosom please. ;)

They're dwarfs, not porn models, they all have a gut, even if its not fat but muscle for some, they all have guts. Im pretty sure they're not making the models for people to drool over, but for a more "realistic" and true to the sources feel.

Whoa whoa - relax, sparky; no need to get all excited. I realize most dwarves are portrayed a bit "well rounded" if you will, but in this case I'd say its a bit much; their guts protrude more than their bosom does, which is not "realistic" or aesthetically pleasing. Their concept art is something they should go for rather:http://www.warhammeronline.com/english/media/conceptArt/full/1006CA01.jpg
Ahh yes, much better. Still obviously a dwarf whilst displaying "womanly charms" quite well. Who says dwarfen women cannot be attractive, and/or well endowed? Dwarfen men surely appreciate a nice looking and well-proportioned dwarfen lass. Most of us men do. ;)

I agree, sure! The width isn't a problem, as they surely have some nice birthing hips! It is all about the bosom-to-stomach ratio! The concept art has it right; the current ingame models do not. A woman with a stomach which protrudes more than her bosom has problems(unless she is simply severely flat-chested).

Aye I suppose you are right there. There should be a breast-stomach ratio to make things look "even" and as they should do.
Would make them more plump too ;)
Short, wide, and properly proportioned!
I don't think it's too bad though... I'll go have another look. :)

Hmm I have looked a little more closely, and perhaps a minor adjustment would suffice; perhaps a bit more cleavage and bosom protrusion. The pigtails which are sported in all pictures may be obstructing "the view" as well. :D The armor type has also has an effect; the green robe and tan colored engineer's outfit are quite unflattering.

That wrench looks pretty painful. . . it's a damn good thing they're on our side!
I just hope they have more distinct gender appropriate armor for female dwarfs. Not the same armor worn by the male toons. I want it to look practical, functional and distinctive of the female dwarf. I dont want people looking at my female dwarf toon from a distance thinking "Look at that guy he's one tough looking dwar... Oh it's a girl?! Meh they all look the same..."
I know I've seen female versions of the classes so far in recenty screenies and previous concept sketches but those look little different from their male counterparts to me especially when i imagine them being seen from a distance.

I agree with your sentiment on the matter. A possible solution is one which I've been discussing; as politically incorrect as it may be - a little smaller stomach and a bit bigger bosom, along with armor to display this(lower cut robes; more pronounced bosom on plate) would go a long way towards easy gender identification.

I may be confusing my fantasy worlds here but I was under the impression that male and female dwarfs were meant to look very similar and hard to differentiate.

You're thinkg about another fantasy. Female WH Dwarfs don't have beards, therefore would be easy to tell apart anyway.

Deeply mistaken.
In WH males have beards and the females do not.
This is the same in most decent fantasy worlds ;)

Really? Didnt know that in BG1 you couldn't play a dwarf, how odd!
I was always a human in that one... switched to dwarf in BGII... much more fun :D Had to replay BG1 as a dwarf of course, still didnt notice that the female option was greyed out!
Quite liked Khelgar's voice in NWN2 too, great character. But Korgan tops them all. ;)

Listen here, you are focusing on the wrong values. Who cares if her busom is not as pronounced as you'd like? The thing you have to ask yourself is: Can she cook and can she clean?
That's it. And don't let anybody tell otherwise.
On a more serious note: I don't want to Dwarf women to run around in skimpy little outfits, strutting their stuff on the field of battle. That belongs elsewhere, and it's nowhere in Warhammer. Well, maybe with the exception of the Slaanesh and Dark Elves.

I am VERY happy with the look of female dwarfs. That other game that shall not be mentioned did horrible jobs on them and though I will miss the EQ days of being beardy I am glad to see beauty returned to the noble dwarfen (screw it ..its DWARVEN DANG IT!) females. One of my .. probably many ..characters will definatly be a dwarf engineer.
