well in my promise to keep the guild listing updated and to spark a bit of interest in the community (and knowing how some of you are....you know who i'm looking at.) i decided to give this little heads up notice.
with the first month of the guild listing comming up i think the list is nice and complete, but i think it can be more.
So on the first of the month i am hoping (with the help of guild leaders) to impliment the following updates:
1. Children of Naggaroth: Kudos to them. they have grown steadily and have an RP up. see, not to hard. I look foward to adding them to the listing.
2. other new guilds: i see people creating new guilds every now and again. some get attention, some sort of fall to the side. I am not going to chase people down for guild info updates. its not hard. just PM me the info or post on the guild thread listing. you can post there as long as you keep it on topic.
3. Member achievements: ok this one i will need the guild leaders help on. If you have a member of note that deserves a special notation. someone spammed their way to 1000 posts, a guild member won the Grand Dueling Tournament, someone got published. whatever. Feel free to PM me and submit their name and i will consider adding a notation as well as a link to their profile under your guild listing as well as their character within the guild. If approved, i will list their name for the duration of the month. please only 1 guild member at a time.
4. Guild Achievements: this one is a bit more questionable, but just as valid. This applies to IN CHARACTER guild activity. If your guild is participating in a multi guild thread (i.e. war thread, alliance thread) if you have spammed your way to 10 (or 20 or 30) unique active members, you have survived 1 year. again submit this info to me on a PM and i will take it under consideration.
5. inactive guilds: As i stated on the thread, for guilds to be considered active they must show activity within their guild thread as well as have a guild RP ON THIS FORUM. this is a listing of guilds on the WarhammerAllaince forums. While i respect your choice to have your own private forums, it is not a community unless people participate in this community. otherwise its just a buch of small RP sessions that no one knows about. I will send PM (or simply contact myself) guild leaders if appropriate. They will not be deleted THIS update, though this is fair warning e for the upcomming April update.
additional note: i have seen a few guilds that are specifically for IN GAME purposes. (as opposed to RP purpose) with the game so far off i have no intention of listing in game guilds as the ability of in game guilds to survive years of development on a game that has very little information on it is questionable at best. When appropriate in the future i will begin a seperate listing for In Game Guilds.
If anyone has any suggestions for future updates on how to improve the guild listing, or something you would like to see (note i'm not a mod so no asking for custom icons or smily's) please feel free to post suggestions on this thread.
