2 simple questions..

1. How can I add an talisman to an item? I tried to drag and drop in every possible way and it did not work (even though the item has 2 talisman slots).

2. How can I give items to other people? Drag and drop also didnt work.

Would be great if anyone could enlighten me!

I haven't gotten to the talisman making yet, but I think you Shift+right click the item to modify it (or something similar).
If you hover your mouse over the item you want to modify, I think it shows on the tooltip the buttons to press to add talismans.

But, like I said I haven't tried it yet, so I might be wrong :)

Shift + right click on the item, then another window will open where you can add it to the piece. Did it several times already.

To add a talisman, take the item OFF first. Then you can shift-right-click it to bring up the talisman screen, where you just drag-and-drop it into one of the boxes there.

I would imagine it is much the same as inviting them into a party. Select them, then right-click on the friendly target ui bit, and select it from the menu.

No, but you can replace it...though I don't know what happens to the first item when you replace it.
