Orcs/Goblins choice

Hey, I was wondering if maybe since Orcs and Goblins aren't going to get females, it would instead be the choice of Orc or Goblin ((Ex. You get the choice of Orc or Goblin Shaman)) One thing that would cut that idea down is trying to imagine a Goblin Black Orc or a Orc Squig Herder, but what do you guys think? Should it be a possibility? ((And please, if it sounds like a stupid question don't flame me.))

First off, you gotta learn to deal with rejection. Some people are just stupid and throw heat at you when you didn't deserve it in the first place. It just happens.

Secondly, this has been discussed quite a bit, and that's the perception I look at it. While I too think it's a shame that, as an orc, I can only play two classes, that's the decision they seem keen on keeping.

I see goblins and orcs as just being male and female in terms of cosmetic choice too, but apparently they want to keep a strict theme that goblins are in the back and orcs are in the front. It's disappointing that if I like orcs, I can only play two classes, but I guess that's just how they're going to roll with it. Some people argue that goblins and dwarfs are percieved as two seperate races, but to me that just sounds asinine in the scope of the race setups.

Either way, i've pretty much let this issue go in light of more recent, critical design directions within the game.

That's what I wanted, anyway. Both could be Choppas or Shamen, but only goblins could be squig herders and only orcs could be black orcs.

The problem is that a goblin would be lacking in his abilities as a choppa, while an orc would be outshined (im not sure if thats a word, but im going to pretend it is) by a goblin shaman (doesnt quite work like this in TT anymore, but bear with me). With orcs being brutish, violent, angry and stupid it makes sense to have them as the melee classes, while the sneaky, weak, somewhat intelligent goblins hide behind their larger "comrades" as the support classes. While the archtypes of goblins and orcs could be bent a bit, it seems like mythic is trying to keep them as much as they can with the greenskin classes....and besides, who could imagine a goblin being a combat monster....unless there are mushrooms and a heavy metal ball and chain involved....

Yeah maybe keep Black Orcs for Orcs and Squig Herders for Goblins, and as for Choppa, the goblin version may be Berserker? Except maybe it'd be a little odd to jack a character up on night goblin alchahol and send him flying into groups of people practically doomed to die one way or another o.O

My understanding is that since orcs reproduce asexually, there are to orc females. (or males now that I think of it) So the goblins were to take the place of female orcs. (Sorry goblin fans, that is just the way I see things) Please note that it is the "Greenskins" not "orcs and goblins". Never played the TT but I always thought that they worked together for the most part. After there own fashion. Anywho, I am just glad there is no orc female option. I shudder to think....:?

Last I checked, the orcs are mushrooms .

Anyways, mithic decided that goblin shamans being your only choice is because you get 2 of each, not three for one, and only two for that one it's be unfair to many or cause many people who will play the game and never ever even heard of warhammer complain more then why greenskins get 2 race choices even though they are alll under the same catagory as fungal plants.
