Applying Talisman?

I made my first talisman and can not figure out how to apply it to a piece of equipment. Any thoughts?

1. Unequip the target item, if equipped.
2. Shift-right-click the target item in inventory.
3. A new dialog pops up with icon holders to drag talismans to. Drop 'em in, apply, and enjoy.

I tried what you have said to do. I unequipped my gloves and then right clicked them. Yet right clicking just re-equips them for some reason.
I do believe that is how it is supposed to work because the gloves say to right click them to enhance.
I wonder why this is. If it is bugged or if their is another reason. :confused:

After I get use to this I will be a bit more picky in what I make and apply them too. ;)
