Combining essences bug

I've reported this, but just a heads-up for anyone having trouble combining essences:

Sometimes, if you have enough of an essence to combine right-clicking it won't do anything. This tends to happen if you accidentally vendor a stack and then use buyback, but I've seen it happen seemingly at random as well.

Sometimes you can fix this with /reloadui , but if that doesn't work try relogging. One or the other has fixed it for me every time so far.

I figured this was the same bug that disallows me from opening loot bags or dye pots or right-clickable unlock-items?

Ocassionally I have to wait to open a loot bad. Never more than a minute though.

If you have used the mailbox recently, right-clicking gets disabled for everything but merchant selling of items.

A temporary solution is to put the essences on your quickbar somewhere. Then you can left-click or press the number of the icon and condense the essenses this way. This also works with the PQ bags.

Otherwise, you need to relog.

Silent Echoes consistently disappear when I try combining them. It is truly disheartening.

I have noticed this as well, and found if i open my character window and then the bag window it works fine. It may have something to do with the overlapping areas. You might give it a try.

I have found that you can never combine essences by activating the salvage skill (the little hammer pointer) and right clicking the stack (like you do the other salvage) but if you left click on the stack it combines just like it should... this however ends the salvage session and you have to right click the salvage icon again (something you do not have to do with salvagable items and for breaking down items for their component).

You don't need to use the salvaging skill at all. Just right click them and it combines them, even without being trained in salvaging.

thanks ren, after logging, rebooting, changing profs...that hotbar thing did it for me.
