would these women be wearing the stantard nailed boots of the male counterparts or would they have stylish steel high heels? chain mail socks maybe?

You've probably been reading too much Terry Pratchett.:p
I think that all Dwarfs probably wear the same armour and clothes, but the females have it a bit modified. Don't think it will be to the extent of high heels and sexy looking fantasy gear.
There is no practical purpose to having high heels, and Dwarfs are very practical.

I agree, dwarfen females are so sexy. They simply dont need special armor and high heels to show how beautiful they are. :o

female orcs
None of those either .. and orcs dont have hair ..but I digress. A small heel like a riding boot is fine but high heels dont have a place in war period .. save for apon elves whose grace can overcome the balance issue .. even then ..its just not practical.

Now, I didn't mention anything about letting you in, but if you ever make it inside, in one piece, I'll be waiting with a tankard of our cheapest batch of leftover ale for you. But, choose to misuse my temporary lack of distrust and you'll sooner be tumbling down the mountainside with a bolt or two in you hide, than drinking fine dwarven brew.
