Dwarf Slayers, all of the ones that I have seen, never wear shirts. We have all seen the screenshots of the female Dwarfs. Could there even BE a female Slayer? Though, what kind of a female gamer would WANT to play a Slayer? :P

Hardcore rockin' chicks wit mohawks in real life would want to play slayers:rolleyes:, just like the group of ladies I met on the Horde who are all rockin' chicks and played troll and orc females wit mohawks as well. Also, female slayers would just wear shirts, but I wouldn't mind it if they wearn't.

Firstly, it is spelled evidence.
Second, you can't use the words 'evidence' and 'may' in the same sentence, as 'evidence' indicates certainty, while 'may' indicates the opposite.
Thirdly, that is in no way evidence that Slayers will never be available as a playable career in WAR.

i have no idea what the deranged one just said, but about female slayers, they would most likely wear shirts, slayers(male ones) dont wear shirts because they arent concerned about the elements, or getting injured, not out of a lack of modesty, tis not like you see many slayers going about pantsless (nobody dare mention the BFSP slayer model, it doesnt even make sense)

Aye, female slayers would wear shirts or leather brassieres or something. Like Jack said, it is to cover up things… it’s not like a shirt offers protection.
Just like male slayers wear pants. :p

And Okri is right, this isn’t evidence, this is just lack of thinking!!! :D

And out of all the ones you have seen, how many have been female?
Exactly ;) That’s why you have never seen a slayer in a shirt!

Slayers are rare, and female slayers even rarer – if Slayers are added, I imagine this will also naturally be the way in the game too.
But they exists, why wouldn’t they?

And Verv, I doubt they will have engineer slayers. As cool as they may seem, I imagine Mythic will go for the traditional axe-swinging maniac stereotyped slayers which we have all come to know and love.

They would be awfully boring, you would have minmal armor and the only sifference between slayer chracters would be the beards and axes.

Ironbreakers would be very boring, you'd just have heap of armour on and the only difference between them and other characters would be shields and axes.
Runepriests would be very boring, you would just have minimal armour and the only difference between them and other dwarfs would be the runes.

Come on, that is a very silly thing to say. :p

Just because slayers wear no armour, it doesn't mean they wouldn't be nifty characters. It just means they would have different style of gameplay, just like every class so far has its own unique style of gameplay.

I hope the devs at Mythic are not as boring as you. :p ;)

But out of all the slayers seen, you have most likely only seen MALE slayers :p So of course they have not worn shirts!
But we already answered this ;)

Female slayers are rare, very rare, rarer than their male counterparts. Almost as rare as High Elf doing manual labor.

But I imagine they wear short leather tops or bras, etc.

I imagine we wont see many though.

are female slayers actually rare?

what evidence is there for this?

are female dwarfs not proud? or do females just not make mistakes?

just cos GW models don't have any female slayers don't mean they don't exist (or are rare). e.g. I never see any female zombie models but i am certain there must be a similar ratio of male and female zombies in warhammer world unless spells to raise the dead discriminate by gender.

Female Dwarfs are rare as a whole. Plus Female warriors are rare too. And I would suspect Dwarfs Male are not the kind to ''dishonor'' a lady. And i don't think female dwarfs fight each other either. So it is no surprise they are rare....

As Smachz said, FEMALE DWARFS are rare. The dwarf race is lowly populated with females, which is partly why they are a dying race.

Female dwarfs are proud and honourable - hence why there is no restriction to them becoming slayers. I did not say that there are no female dwarf slayers, in fact I stated quite blatantly that their were.

Saying something is "rare" and something "does not exists" are two completely different statements.

Dwarf males are very protective of their females, which is why female dwarfs are usually safely within the walls of their hold as opposed to marching around on the front line of every battle. As I said; this is because there are too little dwarfen females alive as it is to give birth to young babes, and therefore the whole race takes it very seriously whenever their women-folk are threatened. They try to keep them out of harms way, as they do not want the survival of their whole race shattered.

Slayers themselves are relatively rare things too. Not incredibly rare, but relatively rare. As female dwarfs are usually safely within hold walls, they usually do not have many opportunities to dishonour themselves and their clans - but on the rare occasion that they some how do commit a great shame: they can become slayers... such is their dwarfen right. But as I said, these occasions are rare, just as dwarfen women are rare.

This is why female slayers are rare.

I hope that helped you?

Let's not kid ourselves here, people. Medieval societies as a whole aren't known for their valuing of equality, and in general were a bunch of patriarchistic, ethnocentric jack-asses who wouldn't let a woman go to war any more than they would "sink" to the point of letting men stay at home and take care of the household. This applies to dwarfs, empire and Norsemen as well. The only reason we even see female characters that are equal to male ones is because the companies don't want to discriminate against genders and they want to cater to both sexes. Female slayers might be rare, but female witchhunters or female warrior priests would be a social impossibility.
If Mythic does decide to make a Slayer class (in an expansion or otherwise), having female slayers isn't any more unfeasible (from a cultural and social PoV) than a female Knight of the Blazing Sun.

ANY female soldiers in the empire would be insanly rare.

Not completely socially impossible. Just MOSTLY socially impossible.

That's what I'm saying. Women weren't treated equally, and in many cases not even decently, but you can still play as female characters in order to appeal to all audiences, since women IRL do (supposedly) have social equality even though they didn't 500 years ago. What I'm trying to say is that it isn't any more illogical to have a female slayer than it is to have any other non-elf (since the elves tend to be more geared toward equality between the sexes) female character.

Yes apart from female dwarfs are most likley treated better than the men , considering there the only thing which could keep the race going (=

Poor dwarves.
