allow me, as a chaos player of 15 yrs, to answer your question.

the dwarf was right. no khorne, no greater daemons and definitely no turning into a bloodthrister.

we might get to fight a bloodthirster at some point, but he will be AI and not a PC

Once you're turned into a Bloodthirser, you don't go back. It would make no sense for a mechanic like this to be in the game. Not to mention that we'll be playing Tzeench, so if we were to turn into any kind of greater deamon, it would be a Lord of Change. And that's not going to happen.

You are aware people can play multiple characters right? Anyone has the right to comment in any forum. And no ..you will never be able to turn into a greater daemon .. or any daemon as far as we know at this time.

It's been said that you get to fight a Bloodthirster and Great Unclean one, and you will most likely have these guys on your side, with their uber Tzeentch magic.

Don't worry, they ain't all giant vultures, it's just that the tribe of the Great Eagle Tchar, beleive Tzeentch to be a bird god.

P.S. Also, in the lore, mortals don't change into greater daemons. A champion of chaos, if truely favored, will transform into a young daemon prince, but that's not that powerful when compared to a fully fledged greater daemon.

We will be able to fight Greater Daemons.
Chaos could possibly have a Lord of Change on their side at one point or another...
But players will not be able to become greater daemons... or daemon princes for that matter.

1) Chaos followers never turn into greater daemons. The maximum available to a human is the level of daemon prince. Greater daemons are daemons forever.
2) Greater daemons would be way, way too powerful, even at the max level of players
3) Bloodthirster= no because its tzeentch.

This does not directly mean that they're stronger in force. Deamon Princes mostly have their own mind still, but they're slaves into eternity. That's probably why they're stronger, because they can think for themselves. Greater Deamons are aspects of their God, they're his vessels to the mortal plane, because they lack their own will, they may be seen as weaker, but it's debatable, because there's the mind of a God behind them. Greater Deamons were never mortal. Deamon Princes were mortal before the Gods granted them the ultimate gift.

Mark of Chaos is one videogame, it's not THE lore. They can be mistaken, or buff up their text so players go: "oooh, niiiiice." you get my point.

So NO to playable Greater Deamons, No to Khorne fighting on your side, he will be an enemy. Possibly better: No playable Deamons at all! Perhaps as AI fighting alongside or against you.
