Underdog??! No class will be underpowered here buddy. But I expect herder to be slightly more popular since people like pet classes.

Hokay, if you like a class with moderate endurance and powerful melee, choppa is for you. It takes time for them to get their maximum berserkerness though, so they will be a big target early in a battle.

Squig herders are weak on their own, but they summon a large amount of swigs, each with a specialty that makes them good against one thing or the other. Their squigs continue to fight even after the herder's death.

Basically, if you like melee, go choppa. If you like pet classes, go Herder.

Well if you want the ultimate underdog then make a dwarf. They are always, ALWAYS the least picked race in any fantasy game, online or otherwise. For your choices though, I dunno. I want to say Choppas will be more plentiful, but my only basis on that would be personal preference. I could see squig herders being popular with the casual croud, as they seem very different from any other pet class out there, and those are usually big hits.

I belive shamans will be the least played in greenskin army, tho you didnt list that one.
Otherwise i think the 3 other classes will be quite equal.
(less people want to play heal/mage classes thats why shaman will be least played)

If i were you i would probably roll Choppa over Squiq herder...maybe it's just me but relying on yourself and having heals/magic damage/melee damage(shaman) is better then mostly relying on your pets ( and i believe that squiq herders will be pretty pitiful without their pets...)but i guess most people wont see it that way =/.
But it's just me...I would probably roll Black Ork just for WAR-RvR.net (http://www.war-rvr.net/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=29&page=inline&catid=17&id=825&limitstart=29&limit=1&limitstart=30)
heh...I m not sure about pet system in WAR anyways so squiq herder is a bit cooler =/
if the pet system will be fun i consider rolling one.

gonna play a herder myself and im quite concerned how usefull he will in pvp because i also think that he will be quite fragile and a good target for other ranged classes.
sure the squigs wont vanish with their herder dead but they will probably less effective without someone to manage them.
the question is what else can they (herder/choppa) do except damage.
i played a brigand and a necro in eq2. also a melee dps and a pet dps class.
both were fun. the brigand had very usefull interrupts and the necro was a little one man party who could almost do everything.
so my advice is to wait until there are more detailed infos about the WAR classes.

There is a poll on the News and Announcement section of the forum:
http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6704

It lists the choices for Greenskin careers. Choppas were around 24% and Squig Herders were around 22%. The most popular Greenskin class was the Black Orc.

Of course this poll only represents readers of this website and not people that will eventually play the game, but it's the only data we have.

Chances are that neither Choppas nor Squig Herders will be too common as Greenskins will probably not be as popular as either Chaos or the Dark Elves.
