What an awesome week it's been!

Not only has the feedback been terrific but with your help we've been able to get the game in great shape for launch.

Beta started over a year ago and it's truly amazing to see how far things have come, the community has grown and game just continued to improve more and more.

This has been an awesome experience and we are proud to have shared it all with you. Celebrate this moment because for many WAR is Here!

We now welcome you to take a few hours, catch up on sleep, and to all of our CE Pre-Order customers come on back at 1PM EDT for the opening of Head Start and be the first to blaze your destiny in the forges of WAR!

We cannot wait to begin the journeys to come with all of you and whether you join us in the Standard Edition Head Start or come back for launch on the 18th we look forward to welcoming you and sharing your adventures and victories in our world.

In just a few short minutes the Open Beta servers will be closed at 4AM EDT. Enjoy these last moments and prepare for those to come in the years ahead.

The road has been a long and awesome experience, but you aint seen nothing yet!

Not a fanboi by any stretch of the imagination...but that was the most stable beta client I've ever seen.

I know others had issues and some of us tried hard to help. But I am not kidding when I say I had 0...zero...client crashes. Not one. And I think I only saw one server crash.

Hopefully the polish comes sooner than later but overall I have zero reservations spending my money w/ Mythic Entertainment based on what I experienced.

In short, I can't wait.

I too haven't really decided what class to play yet. I tried nearly all classes Order and Destro except the greenskin classes, got em all to level 10 or so. I'm leaning towards a healer archtype and the Archmage was the last I leveled and I really liked it, but I also liked the Warrior Priest as it was my first character, ah the decisions :D

Depends whether you ordered the Collectors Edition or Standard Edition of the game.

Collectors Edition players that pre-ordered get to start tomorrow(Sunday) at 1 pm EST.

Standard Edition players that pre-ordered start on Tuesday the 16th(I have no idea what time, dunno if its been posted anywhere).

Then on the Thursday the 18th the official launch begins(all non pre-order players)(again, dunno if a time has been posted yet)

I've been following this game since Mythic announce that it was doing it. It has been a great few years of lead up; Beta has been more fun than I have had on an MMO since the early days of DAoC, and I can't wait until the servers go live tomorrow!

My experience was right on par with yours. I've seen game launchs and then 2 weeks afterwards not be this stable.

I think all the guys and gals at Mythic should all go out for some ice cream :D

i only played two days, short but sweet! All my expectations are fulfilled, ironbreaker is same as i red to be, finally tank class that is very usefull but fun as well in pvp or should i say in rvr:)
Yesterday in tier 2 in rvr field i seen like 30 vs 30 maybe even more, its hard to count when enemy is looking at you :) and if i didnt seen nothing else of this game that would be enough for me to buy it :)

Only thing that bothers me is poor performance, stuttering but as i red that ppl with much better computer is having same issues and didnt have it before patch 4.1 so i hope it can be fixed:)

I'm gonna be a dwarf Engineer. Thats what I played in the Open Beta. I had just hit level 13 when it all ended, it was so awesome, great beta it was very stable and I can't wait for the final product. I won't be in Head Start because I never really got around to pre-ordering it but hell I can wait until the 18th.

Are we using the same open beta client, or do we download a new one? I was hoping a new one, as I would CTD (crash to desktop) every 15-20 min or so.

I didn't want to wait on the physical box because the deliver people around here are idiots and would probably lose it.

So I go out and buy the Target Pre-Release .99 package to get the Beta key to try it out for a day or two before release... I had guests, so couldn't access my office for my computer for 2 days, started downloading the 10gb file this morning-- finished about an hour ago.

Try to log in, no luck. Spend the next hour trying to figure out what the heck was going on.. then found this post.

Apparently the Beta closed before I even downloaded the file! Suxxors!

At least it only cost me .99

Now, the question I have, if anyone knows, is if my beta download can be upgraded to a playable version? Don't mind spending the $50, but don't want to have to go out and buy a box or download it again.

Have you tried logging in, key codes seem all mixed up, i bought CE but was issued SE codes. Maybe your the lucky son of a to get my CE codes.
