Any news on what time the SE preorders can login tuesday?

Any news on if I preordered the CE and still have yet to get my Authorization codes from gamestop. Still I preordered in person and apparently that screws you over. If there would be anything new on this. I'm still waiting to hear from Gamestop about this... If an Admin could clarify what to do that would be great!

What if you ordered CE and the only codes your retailer was given were SE codes?

I've spoken to them and they only received one type of preorder box, and on the receipt from the preorder it states I ordered CE, but I have an SE account?

Can we get this taken care of please? This is disappointing when we pay more money for a edition that starts earlier and we can't access it.

retailer and store employes more than often abuse the system and its not the fault of mythic. They cant do anything to help you. You can only help yourself by talking to the retailer or canceling the preorder. And I highly recommend the later solution since you will pay twice the price for the very same advantage as the normal edition.

I preordered the standard edition and received both codes, open beta and head start. I made an account with my open beta key and played yesterday. Now it won't let me login to that account. Is this normal because open beta is over and the head start has begun, or should I still be able to play with my open beta account? Will I have to create a second account with my head start key?

Yep, having the same issue here. Got into both preview weekends and played Open Beta up to yesterday afternoon. I finally put my Head start code in last night and suddenly I can't log in.

I'm getting the Authentication error. I've already added my Head Start Collectors edition code to my account. I've changed my Game Account password just in case, still nothing.

I am seeing the same as above. I know I can't get into the head start until Tues anyway since I only preordered the SE, but on the Mythic accounts site, my account is still displayed as 'active', with the open beta, preview weekends, head start and special in-game item keys already attached.

Attempting to sign into WAR to hopefully at least get patched up before Tuesday however results in an authentication error.

Fingers crossed this will all resolve itself on Tuesday.

I am registered as head start and validated, but when I click the link to log in it says Authentication failed. Please re-enter your credentials... ect. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do besides sit and wait and miss out on CE head start please post.

This is listed on both of the accounts I am caring for. When I attempt to login on the Mythic Patcher, I am turned away.

I was in the Open Beta with no problems these last few days. It is obvious that I have the Collector's Edition of the game, as Head Start Access is listed as one of my Features. I am "validated" as well.

Any advice? Thanks.

Due to the way mythic rolled the HS out am i going to be able to join my guild on the 16th or is the server going to be full?

Its one big cluster, Keys all mixed around and what not. Assholes who bought the SE got CE keys, and people who paid for CE got bent over. So far its been a GREAT day.

Just because Head start is listed in your account doesn't mean you have collectors edition. I have standard edition and I've got head start listed, because SE gets a head start as well.

You probably got the codes for the SE edition. In your account it should say you pre-ordered the CE.

I have a question about the head start and about WAR actually releases. I know the head start lets people who pre-ordered the game, start playing on official servers before the 18th.

Which I believe they would use your beta client for the HS, correct?

If so, what happens when the game actually release? Would I be able locked out on the 18th until I enter in my CD / DVD game key into my account before accessing it? And would I need to install the version that is on the disc?

Or maybe I have to pick up the game before the 18th wherever I preordered the game and all this is avoided?

If you have already downloaded the game and had your account, played beta or preview weekend, then the disks you get after release are just back-ups, you already have the current version of the game on your computer... minus a patch or two.

Thanks for a load of steaming nothing. Most of us have played beta, and the problems getting in are not client side, but stupid invalid code problems.

well my account says ive got the wrong password apparently when i try to log in, but mines an SE Account so i guess thats why, but not for sure, weul find on the 16th.

Ordered Collectors Edition nearly eight months ago from Gamestop at the mall. Three weeks ago I stopped in to check on it, and they said they were out of codes. They called another store who had one left. I drove over and got it. I played both weekend Open Betas, and was in up till Saturday night until 2 a.m. Today at 12 noon the 14th, patcher would not let me in and said it was unauthorized account. I look at the Pre-Order Bonus box and the card that it came with and no where does it say it is a CE or SE. My account says I'm in the Head Start. So what I think they did was switch the CE code for an SE code and now I can't get in till the 16th. Clear as mud. I was thinking to myself, "I wonder what kind of bonehead would make all these different start dates, and then also make the different stores have different codes as well?" The people at Gamespot are very friendly and nice, only they did not know anything about SE versus CE codes. I hope I can at least get in on the 16th.

Ah. Yes, 7am was the original time they had planned, but that was also the planned time for CE head start, which got shifted to 1pm (and then to 12pm). I've heard theories that SE will also be 12pm to be fair, or as early as midnight because things are going so smoothly. Nobody seems to know for sure.

A. You ordered the SE and your login info doesn't work until HS activates on Sept. 16th. (If you were in the Open Beta, that key code has you flagged, be patient.)

A. Like the rest of us, they came to your character in the mail. Check your mail! It was like this in Open Beta and will most like be the same in HS, just take the time to check.
