I didn't, but out of all the casters so far these kick the most , especially when you get to summon the massive fists o' Gork n' Mork ta KLOMP TINGZ FLAT!

There is more than a pretty good chance my main character will be a Goblin Shaman.

I had already decided to play one of the support characters since that is the role I enjoy the most in MMORPGs, and being a small, annoying greenskin being able to bring down the full force of the WAAAAAGH!!! on my soon to be sorry enemy... well, it is hard not to resist!

Versuvius, please, if your going to play greenskin, Learn to lore. Shamans are very well respected amongst the greenskins, out of 'fear' (technically it's not fear really, it's somthing else as orcs truely aren't afraid of anything). They can blow your heads off and they are the voice o' Gork n' Mork, so what they says iz what da gods say.

even if l earned the lore (which i am attempting) i still would remain adamant that anything smaller than me is only worth kicking and possily eating....besides after numerous rolls and retrys i made a psyker black ork and i would say im better than any gobbo....(3 days of re rolling and re starting to be precice)

Well, there can be orc shamans as well, and even the goblin ones, despite being small, are still respected, cuz they can still blow your head off.

and it is generally seen that anything that is offending or agressive towards are shaman might aswell be done to Gork himself.

I'm still thinking wether my main will be a Goblin Squig Herder or a Dwarf Ironbreaker. At the moment I'm leaning more to the Goblin Squig Herder.

If the Goblin Shaman doesn't become a "medic" class, I think I'm going to go ahead and play one, but we will have to wait and see. So far the Squig Herder is first in my book.

If there is a way to DPS your shaman I will be there in a flash, although saying none tends to want to play with healers specced for damage I will probably have another character to twink him out and give him cash boosts.

Shamans seesaw between healing and killing. In order to heal good, they first crush a couple o' stunties. After than, their healing gains power and they use massive heals, which increases their damage so they start killing somone again, and their WAAAAAAGH! energy just continues to seesaw between stronger heals and stronger damage.

In theory, yes Shaman are capable of small bursts of DPS. To effectively DPS though they're going to balance between healing and casting damage for maximum benefits.

versuvius
02-14-2007, 11:36 AM
how many shamans can acheive that balance...not many i hope rofl

Because goblin shamans look just so damn badass.
And I like healing (up to a point).
And they look badass.
